Hi, I'm George and this is Uwannawatch. Thanks for stopping by my shop. I do all sorts of projects from tool and furniture restorations to wood working and everyday life stuff. The items I restore are found at flea markets or discarded items from the road side. I do my best to make them usable again and get them back out into the world to be reused. I upload a new video every Wednesday and Sunday.

Flea Market Haul #51 Wrenches - Ratchets & Sockets
3 winners this week. Pocket oiler, 10" proto, and that plvmb 5/8 combo. Good haul brother
George those are some great tools. I love that big oiler. My favorite tool is that Rigid adjustable. I also like that micro adjusting slip joint plier. Every tool box should have one of those little nut breakers. I have a Craftsman on I found. However for those very big frozen nuts I pull out by brother Jim's and my dad's tool the 12" H.K.Porter blue nut breaker. I don't think there is a nut that can't break! My dad got that from the plant he worked at for my brother who was a welder!
Great tool haul as always George. I’m from Australia and I’d love to send you a few tools that you probably don’t see in your part of the world. How do I go about it? Cheers 👍
So many good finds George, The little oiler. hands down my favorite, But I also like the Proto smoothie adjustable pliers. They have so many good uses. Great haul and Get that heater fixed I'm afraid you are going to freeze this winter. Oh and I like the McMetric ruler the misses found. Very cool.
Wow George that Bailey buy for $30 was a steel and. Was the oiler and ridged. Omg you got a deal of the lifetime. Great haul and great video as always. Keep it up.
Good stuff! I agree, Oiler!!
Hey !George vraiment de superbes trouvailles. Le rabot, les clés à mollete, les burettes d'huile, surtout la petite pour la poche sont superbes. Bref de beaux outils, une belle caisse à outils 🧰,rien que du bonheur. ❤
George, You found some things that I have never seen. The Proto pliers are intriguing. I would think that they might be a good plumbers tool for Sloan flush valves and the like. The Perfect oiler and Eagle oilers are also new to me. The brass Eagle oilers with the pistol grip button plunger are ubiquitous to the machine shop. They are ideal for manual machine tools. I didn't realize how useful over other types of oilers until I built up my own vintage machinery machine shop. I can't find any now! Too many collectors compete with users. I own one MAC screw driver in the series as your two finds. It is fine, but the handle feels small compared to today's options. I would be happy to own them, but I standardized on Snap-on. I pass on Proto screw drivers for the same reason. I see Proto sockets, ratchets and wrenches frequently, but screw drivers are uncommon. I have never used Proto screwdrivers. I love Proto pullers. I split a stash of MAC pullers with my son that had to be made by Proto. The parts are completely interchangeable with my Proto tools. I think that your finds this week are better than many weeks. You and I continue to differ in that I pass on mid tier, low level tool and vintage collectible tool brands, but you found many tools this week that I would treasure. I own 50+ daily use hammers. I regularly gift top-tier tools to my boys. I scored NOS hammers this year. I wrapped Christmas gifts thus week, gifting about 10 hammers. I own every style, but not every brand in the styles gifted. I don't need the gifts that I wrapped, but I wanted to keep many of them for myself! I gifted Matco, Proto, Estwing, and Bluepoint. It is a rewarding pleasure to pass on tools that I still treasure to my boys. Adding a grandson and a granddaughter's fiance to my gift list this year makes 28. My wife shops for the girls. Her gift list number is currently the same as mine. When this brood is in the house, it is a lot of fun.
Great tool haul George. The oil can and little oiler are my picks although I really appreciate those Proto micro adjustable water pump pliers. Thanks George
Hi George - good haul, but the Oil Can and that little Oiler get my vote any day. Thanks - take care 🙂
Them action wrenches look in excellent shape I know you said they are repeats but I would go through and compare what you already have and swap them out and sell the ones that aren't as in as great of shape I really think the oiler stole the show that thing is neat them ptoto smooth jaw pliers are pretty cool first I've seen thanks for sharing brother take care
Great haul george as usual , loving those 248 proto pliers , i gotta ask , what sort of material are your clothes made from where you need to oil the pockets ???
What a haul man! Hard to pick a favorite, but I must say those smooth jaw proto pliers are awesome! So many great finds this week!
Hey brother Haven't been really writing you lately Cause I've been having some problems With TH-cam But I got it all squared away And I gotta admit For me your best friend is that little pocket oiler That thing is super cool I've had plenty of the ones that were plastic They just don't last Like always Keep the faith And rock on
Hi there , some great stuff again, nice oilers, love the tiny one . Looking forward to the Bailey resto, that’s a nice plane 😊. Nice bunch of hand tools, lovely adjustables, I’m Back from Spain, so I can hopefully get stuff done now work is calming down 🤣🤣🍻🍻
Wish you had a good haul this week compared to last week
that oiler is very cool i think i have one of them i will have to check
Nice haul like that large oiler 😊 offset Ridgid pipe wrench runner up😊 have a great thanksgiving
Good stuff George, 100% the oiler gets the vote, Cheers!!
Dude, you got some great stuff this week! Really looking forward to seeing some of these cleanups and restorations. That nutcracker is really cool. Before you take it to work, please video it in action and show us! The oilers were great as well as the smooth jaw proto pliers with the micro adjustments. Great catching up with you yesterday!
Nice haul watching your videos and the variety of things you find makes me open my eyes to other things that I would enjoy collecting other than hand tools thanks for sharing
Nice video.
So order a repair kit for that broken SK. They even have a dual pawl version available to UPGRADE it. No need to hunt or search... just order the new parts.
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
Excellent work sir, enjoyed watching.
Thank you very much Terry! I really appreciate that!
one wrench you had out of that gray toolbox looks like a distributor wrench to adjust the timing on the older cars or trucks my dad was a mechanic for 40 plus years so I recognized it the distributor wrench nice bunch of tools and thank you for the video
Thank you for the information on the wrench. I really it .
I found that same craftsman tree saw this summer. It still has most of it’s red paint on it . Thx
That's a cool find!
Nice finds, like the chisels, the the screw driver, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Thanks Terry! I appreciate ya checking in and glad you enjoyed the video.
Your lucky fish
Lucky but not lucky.
I'm sorry to hear your one good neighbor has moved. I believe the gray tray is a puke tray from the hospital, 😮 It's good of you to donate the proceeds to your church. At least there was some keepers in there. Hopefully, you'll wind up with someone nice moving in. Have a good day, George thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks Michael, I'm hoping for a nice neighbor but honestly I'm not gonna be really happy with anyone that buys the house. We are going to miss our old neighbor so much. We just thought it would be a good way to pass on some of the generosity we have received. Take care Brother.
Great video. Cool stuff. You are a saint for giving to the church. 😇 What did you use to replace the cap on the SK bit driver? I have one that also needs a cap. Fingers crossed that you get good new neighbors.
Thanks Bonney Mack, I seriously can't remember what I used! I know the threads matched up and it was black..so I had to paint it white. If I remember what it was I'll let ya know.
Tons of stuff there G. May be the new neighbours will be a nice family with 6 kids and 4 dogs 😄. Don't stress man ! Remember you can make much, much more noise than them 😉
That's true! 🤣🤣. Good hearing from ya. Been a while since we've had a chat.
@Uwannawatch I know man, seems like we all doing our own thing these days .
Nice haul. I think those little green pliers might be Diamond. I found an SK bit driver WITH all the bits AND the cap at Jacktown last spring wandering around with MrPhil69. Sucks you are losing your good neighbor. Hope the new ones are good too and have quiet dogs. lol George
That's a great find!!! We are hoping for nice, quiet and no dogs.. LOL.
Hope you take that Schwinn on some sweet jumps before you sell it
Ya you can see me taking it off a sweet jump, just like Napoleon Dynamite! LOL!
Sorry for the loss of a great neighbor, nice to see there were a few goodies in the pile for memories. Nice touch with the donation. Take care brother.
Thanks Brother Don, It was a very generous gift and it just seems like it's the right thing to do. Take care and I'll catch up with ya soon. Hope all is well up there and tell the wife hello from all of us.
One thing you did not know what it was is a paint can opener and use to clean your paint rollers. Great stuff!!
Really? That's pretty cool. I can actually use that! Thanks for the info I appreciate it!
Nice of you to donate your time and give the proceeds to the church. Maybe your good deed will reward you with some awesome new neighbors.
Thanks Mr. John! You aren't looking to down size and move to NJ by any chance are you? Hopefully it'll help some other folks out. We have been blessed so we just want to keep it going.
Such a cool thing to do with the free items, maybe that act of selflessness will create some good karma and your new neighbors will be awesome!
Thanks Todd, I hope we get some good neighbors. It just didn't seem right to keep any profits of such a generous gift. I can't use all of it so it'll go to folks that can and hopefully some other folks will get a little extra help that they need. Take care Buddy.
Wow that's a lot of stuff! Maybe when you get it sorted and sold off and donated good karma will be on you for new neighbors 😊. Wish you the best of luck.
I hope so Mike! I heard they have multiple bids on the house.
I liked the Craftsman pruning saw some cool stuff best of all it was free
That is a cool little saw. A lot of very nice tools and yes the free part is good!
the KD tool is a distributor Wrench. the other Wrench goes with it.
Thanks I appreciate the info!
Thanks for sharing George 🍺🍺👍👍
Thanks for checking in Brian! 🍺🍺🍻
Lots of goodies there George. You are definitely not being selfish, on the contrary you are being very kind. Hope your new neighbor works out, it's always a roll of the dice when new ones move in.
Thanks Mr. Bill! I hope so too. I know there are a few offers on the house already.. So we'll see what happens.
Cool stuff! Great idea to gift proceeds!
Thanks John. Just doesn't seem right to keep any money from such a generous gift. We're doing alright so why not get some good tools back into action and help out a few folks.
That little roller toolbox would be an awesome Christmas present for a young person interested in the shop.
Yes it would. It's going with all the contents in it. A great start for sure. If my boys didn't already have boxes I would have given it to one of them.
Ha! I still use my dad's old Toro snowblower from the 70's! rolling tool carts are quite handy. saws = keepers 👍 some kid just starting out on his own could literally fill his garage with that haul!
Hey Matt , I would use the snow blower but I got 3 kids and 3 shovels..Plus my drive is gravel. I'm gonna try to make sure it goes to someone who really needs it. I was told " Hey there's a couple things in the shed Mom wants you to get" I had no idea it was all of this!
@Uwannawatch kids and shovels... life is good! i think its wonderful that you're going to use the proceeds from the items you were gifted to 'pay it forward' to others.
Great haul but sad about the circumstances. Sounds like you're due a good neighbour. We could do with a snow blower over here, we had about 1/2" a couple of days ago and this country just falls apart. I had to get a train on Tuesday and dealt with delays and cancellations! I remember when we used to have proper snow and we just got on with it, that's my moan over😁. Take care buddy👍🏻
Thanks Alex! Wow 1/2 inch! How did you survive? 😅 Over here they go mad! They flock to the store and buy like they are going to be snowed in for months! I'll be moaning when we get some snow over here Part of my contract at work includes plowing.
Awesome choice to help others with the proceeds! We lost our neighbor to old age a couple months ago and have discovered she had some extra tenants (small, gray, squeaky) that lost their meal ticket. We also have a rat terrier that keeps them on their toes and outside the house. Hope you get awesome new neighbors and have a great week!!
Hey Patrick, Well we're doing alright so it just seems like the right thing to do. Hope you have a great rest of the week. We're half way there.
I guess you know that Sears is craftsman Hougie eagle
Yes Sir.
What are the wrenches on your wall for? The ones that are shaped like a V
They are called alligator wrenches they work kinda like adjustables but they have fixed jaws. They are perfect for square nuts.
“Neighbour” refers to how one lives, not where one lives. Sounds like the lady who moved was a neighbour in the truest sense. Hope true neighbours move into her house. Good for you for paying it forward, George.
Very true Guy! She was awesome and seriously we had so many talks across the fence and you couldn't help but smile when you talked with her. I'm hoping for good neighbors but we'll see...It didn't seem right to keep any money from this.
