Love the 3 in 1 oil bottle and the tape can. I used to use a trig book every day probably have 12 of them. Fantastic tool haul George. I really appreciate your channel
Thanks Michael! I wish I had this book a couple years ago I had to take a test and learn trig on the fly. I love the old bottles and am happy to add this one to the collection. Thanks for all the encouragement I really do appreciate it.
Cool find on the Navy training manual. My Dad was a radio operator on a PB4Y-2 towards the end of WW2. Because of his experience, he got a job as a D.J. at a Florida radio station after the war ended. My Brother still has some demo records from Tommy Dorsey & other big band outfits he had.
Good haul George! I like the trig book and the Naval radio book. I have a similar radio book only for the Army. I have been a licensed ham operator for over 60 years and like that sort of thing. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks Mr. Bill! I like finding these old manuals they are really interesting . Of course you are a ham guy! You're just too cool Mr. Bill hope you are feeling a bit better.
Anything Snap-On is a great find! That old 3-in-1 oil bottle is awesome as well. I think you did pretty good on the $20 bin, there’s some good stuff in there. Super awesome haul!
Thanks Brother! It wasn't too bad I'll be able to make some Pokemon money for it on the resell. LOL. I love old bottles and this one will be a nice addition to my collection.

That 3 in 1 bottle is really cool. I don’t believe that I have ever seen an alligator wrench until I started watching you, now I want one. Thanks for sharing!
Well George i Like the Scrapers and the 3 in 1 oil. You got some very cool stuff. The alligator wrenches were cool. I don't think i have ever seen one of the gator wrenches in operation. Good idea about the pig tail i think ill get one.
Thanks Mr. Dale! There was a lot of great stuff out at the Market. Might wanna get 2 of those pig tails..They disappear. Take care brother Talk to you soon.

Thanks Captain Ivan! I was stoked to find the Wizards. Don't see them around here especially that clean. Good to hear from ya. Hope all is well down your way.
3:44 wow, those are something! The steel is dovetailed into the aluminum? In order to pull that off as a machinist you’re going to be casting some rudimentary tails into the jaws for the aluminum and then refine them after they come out of the cast. Probably by paring down from the sides like in traditional dovetail creation (aluminum is soft enough for that). Then the steel jaws with pins are shoved into the mouth like a tail board. Lovely! That’s some craftsmanship. Hang on to those. That’s nice! And yes, likely railroad work.
Nice Haul George! The Armstrong Steel Tool is a parting blade for metal lathe work. The steel hammer is a machinists hammer. My favorite tool of the day is the Wizard Ratchet!
George you got some great tools. Those Alligator wrenches are great. Also you never can have enough Craftsman sockets. My favorite is the Sears wrench. My brother had Sears wrenches in his tool box I inherited and now they are my go to wrench. I had forgotten that Sears sold those wrenches and I did a little checking and I think Toyota made those wrenches for Sears.
@@Uwannawatchwhen I found the Sears wrenches in my brothers tool box I never saw any manufacturer letter that designated what company made their wrenches. So I started looking for Japanese wrench manufacturers in the 1970s. The one wrench that looked very much like Sears was Toyota.
Awesome! I love that 3 in 1 bottle. I’ve only seen the tins. That’s really cool. Great tools, scrapers and those alligator wrenches also 😮! Have a great day George! Y’all take care!
About the trig booklet, Illinois Tool Works has an interesting history. Founded in 1912 in Chicago, it remains a going, global concern. Now known as ITW it maintains a presence in many high tech areas.
The tool hauls are always cool. I liked the scrapers and the "funky" little hammer. I watched a video by Big Vic on a number 82 Stanley scraper some time ago and after i seen that, I always wanted to get one (still waiting). Just to mention something about the scrapers though, you know how some people use a utility knife razor blade to scrape the finish off a screwdriver or hammer handle. Well, depending on how my hands are that day, it's sometimes hard for me to use those. I found this scraper at Harbor Freight that I really like. It has a couple concave blades in the set that are really good to use on handles and it's a little easier for me to use and it's inexpensive. It's the QUINN Contour Scraper with 6 Blades. Price currently is $8.99 (I think when I got it, it was $5 or $6.99). Most of the blades are double sided so you actually get 11 blades . SKU - 57216. The alligator wrenches are interesting. I don't think I ever seen any that big though. Oh, things like that Radioman manual is pretty cool too. I got my ham license back in the early 80's. ScoutCrafter has his license too. Haven't been too active any more but every once in awhile I get on 2-meters and check into some of the local nets. You can get those BAOFENG dual band radios that are so inexpensive anymore and they work pretty well. I loved talking on HF and I remember getting a fellow on 10-meters who was in his car. He was out of California and worked on the Johnny Carson show and was on his lunch break. I thought that was cool. I use to be able to copy around 15 words a minute CW (morse code). Sold most of my ham gear a long time ago. I did keep my Heathkit keyer though and of course my little Baofeng dual bander. Thanks for the video's.
Hey Kid! I know exactly the video you are talking about. I also have a video of one I did. Those scrapers don't come up very often. That's awesome you found something that you can use and sounds like a good deal. I'll have to check for one next time I'm in there. How cool is that you actually talked to someone from California that worked on the Johnny Carson show! My Dad was a big Hamm radio guy. I was always more into the CB radios. Back in the day if you didn't have one in your car you just weren't cool. Take care I'll catch up with ya later.
@@Uwannawatch - I thought you had one on the #82. I usually download some of the videos and when I checked, it was Big Vic's that I had and I thought I had yours. Anyway, I have it now. Thanks.

We don't really get gator wrenches over here , guess our bolts and nuts are so rusted on due to our weather we need exactament fitting wrenches .... Only ones I ever seen here are U S or bahco type . 1:50 wow! $1? Heh, clearly doesn’t know the religious following this stuff creates when it takes a foothold in any shop. When I first discovered 3-in-1, it solved so many problems. I don’t use it for everything, like it can’t beat Scoutcrafter 50/50 for when I need to break rust, but I use 3-in-1 anywhere I need a light oil with no smell to prevent rust or keep machine threads running smooth. Not just for cutting, but it helps with that too. In fact, because it helps with cutting and lubricating, it’s the perfect tool for fixing bougered up threads by just working in the screw/bolt if possible
I've used 3 in 1 oil my whole life use it for damn near everything. But if you have something that requires 50/50 try Aero Kroil it's a bit expensive but it works.
Back in the day Craftsman was a quality tool and almost everyone had access to them, plus they had a fantastic warranty so you only had to buy it once. I personally don't collect it. I do have some that I use occasionally.

2:30 I so need to find me an alligator wrench because I do have square nuts on my old vintage Roubo frame saw.
They're out there. Check the Flea markets.
The Armstrong piece is a cut-off blade for use on the lathe
Thanks for the information I really appreciate it.
Great haul brother that 3870 SK swivel head ratchet was a great find and them fleet wrenches are cool a subsidiary of proto that funky hammer I call a machinist hammer I believe is a unbranded indestro from the 30s really cool finds thanks for sharing take care brother
Good morning George, met with the vendor at New Egypt market that you bought linesman wrench from
Thanks Don! I always appreciate your input. You know that's the first one of those SK ratchets I've found. I think I have another one of those hammers around here somewhere..I'll have to look. Thanks for checking Brother always great to hear from ya.
@@holmesgormerley308 That's cool Brother! Hope you are doing alright. Take care and hope to see ya around the market again one of these days.
@@Uwannawatch if I'm correct SK was the first to come out with the swivel head design that ratchet is very hard to find out in the wild sometimes they pop up on eBay and when you see them the price is pretty high
5:03 would it interest you to learn that some companies still today are giving out trig tables in booklets just like that when you order parts from them? I save these in hopes they become a collectors item when I am long gone. Seeing you pick one up made me smile
That's pretty cool.
7:40 bicycle multiwrench- usuallly cast from pot metal, so be careful not to apply too much torque or it will deform on you
I don't use them..I just send them to a buddy of mine.
I always grab little tins so it’s gotta be the oil bottle and tape tin.
Thanks Brother. I love old bottles and tins with the graphics are just nice little displays.
We don't really get gator wrenches over here , guess our bolts and nuts are so rusted on due to our weather we need exactament fitting wrenches .... Only ones I ever seen here are U S or bahco type . Love the oil bottle , great idea with that . Someone will happily take the undesirables from you for money !
Hey Jimothy! That is kinda weird you don't have the gator wrenches. It seems like something that would be British made I don't know why it just seems like it would be. I love those old 3 in 1 bottles and I am always happy to find them. I'll end up filling a bucket with the undesirables and selling the lot off or I'll just send them all to you! 🤣🤣🤣
Good morning, George
Great score George 👍🔧🍁🇨🇦💪💯
Hey Dan O!
@@danohstoolbox Thanks Brother!
Hey !George vraiment de très belles trouvailles, j'aime particulièrement les clés alligator, elles sont superbes. Les autres outils sont tous aussi beaux, effectivement il y a beaucoup de Made in Taïwan ou de Chine, toujours dommage. ❤
Thanks Patrick! Yes there were some that I wasn't interested in but all in all I was happy with the tools especially the alligator wrenches they are pretty unusual.
Enjoyed the video. Have you actually had any luck selling the undesirables? If so, how? Facebook marketplace?
Have a Jesus filled day everyone
Greg in Michigan
Hello Greg! Thanks Brother. I sell the undesirables pretty well. I wait until I have a big bucket full and sell the lot of them for a decent bulk price. I do use facebook marketplace sometimes. Take care Buddy catch up with you later.
Those ally alligator wrenches are great, never seen them before, but what a good idea. I got a great haul today from boot fair and car show jumble, UK & USA tools! Can you let me know your email again please George as I n3ed to send you the bits I have for you 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇬🇧✌️
Hey Phil, I heard that you guys don't have the alligator wrenches there. Glad you had a good haul from the car boots. My email is officialuwannawatch gmail.
Really appreciate your videos, but they leave me feeling guilty, gotta go and clean something, later!
Thanks Kenneth , We're all friends here and trust me we all got something to clean around the shop. Take care Buddy see ya later.
1:50 wow!
I just don't get why everybody thinks Craftsman is such a great tool. Eagle
Back in the day Craftsman was a quality tool and almost everyone had access to them, plus they had a fantastic warranty so you only had to buy it once. I personally don't collect it. I do have some that I use occasionally.
Love your videos. But you need to work on the focus.
Ya I know My Canon has a mind if it's own The auto focus wanders and it's even worse on manual.
