Wow!! The oiler darn near blinded me😅 The t-bevel is super sharp, and the wrench came out great! Thanks again for the care package and see you soon! Have a great rest of your week!
Thanks Joe, I would order them oiler , wrench, bevel. Mostly because I actively collect oilers and Kraeuter tools but not gonna pass up a nice angle finder either. Take care Buddy. Catch up with ya soon.
They all came out terrific. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the oiler. An item that looked like an easy peasy project but of course tool the longest. I enjoyed the video.
Thank You Mr. John! Lucky for me I allowed an entire day for that quick little project! 😅. Don't you have a few oilers? Wouldn't mind seeing that collection revisited. I do love them!
Gone are the days when beauty of form and beauty of function were equally important. All three items came up beautifully, but that little oiler is a gem! Thanks for posting, George!
You are so right Guy! There isn't a tool made today that can match the beauty and function of the old ones. I am over the moon about these three tools. The oiler is almost brass over load! Take care Buddy.
Hey Alex! Isn't it a beauty! I am very grateful to Bryan for picking it up and dropping it off to me. If I come across one in good shape like this I'll be sure to pass it on to ya! Take care Buddy!
They all look fantastic mate. I’m a sucker for shiny shit. The bevel gauge is my hands down favourite. Tools were made to use and to be enjoyed back in the day. Love you all. Give everyone a hug from us.
My Brother! You got that right! You won't find anything made today with an once of this quality. Thank you for everything! Take care and be good or be good at it. Love to you all and big hugs to you guys.
The oiler is fabulous!! I must say that nothing beats brass and wood. Great video brother, better get that wood stove done soon before it gets cold! Have a great rest of the week and a better weekend!
Thanks Patrick! You can't beat that combination of brass and steel. I'll have the wood stove finished up soon. But now we are in a burn ban. Hope you have a great rest of the week it's back on call this weekend for me. Take care Brother.
Hey Don! Thanks Brother! I love this oiler you know I have a small collection of them and this one will be a cherished addition. Take care hope you are doing well.
Thanks Mike! I love oilers especially Eagle ones. This one is a work of brass art and will be at the top of my collection. The T bevel was just the icing on the cake.
100 percent success on all three tools. Oiler is absolutely beautiful. I have a Stanley bevel like yours (my grandfather's, born in the 19th century) and I think the handles are rosewood. I always wondered why such a fancy, somewhat uncommon, furniture type wood would be used on a hand tool, but maybe tool makers took a lot of pride in their products back in the day. Thanks
Thank You Pat! I think you might be right about that. Tools were a lot of money back then most of them were just a one time purchase so they wanted their brands to stand out. It's not like today's tools that break easily and you have to get a new one they all "work" and look the same. so not too much thought goes into them. Just my opinion.
Thanks Holmes! I am over the moon to have it in my collection. It was very thoughtful of Bryan to pick it up for me. Take care and hopefully I'll see ya soon.
Hey George, looks like that rust remover has been working out well. That feed and wax works really well on dry wood , we sell that at the store and people love it. Yeah this leaf mold has got me down, I thought I suffered enough in the spring but apparently not. Well they all came out beautifully. My favorite was the oiler. Don't let the allergies get you down!
Mike,Mike,Mike! Thank You! I've been real happy with that Deox-c and that Howards is some fantastic stuff. The leaf mold gets me every year, but for some reason it feels like this year is especially bad. I am so in love with that oiler it's a stunner for sure. Take care Brother!
That stuff you're using for rust removal can you hot tank with it I have been trying evaporust in the ultrasonic cleaner it has been working well 👍 With the hot setting, it has been cleaning things really well
@@danohstoolbox I don't see why you couldn't use it that way. It actually works and dissolves faster if you mix it with warm water. I was thinking about trying it in a crock pot on low.
The oiler came out great the few I have seen the top had dings and dents, Or the letters chunked up. That lettering good enough to be a stamp. That wrench is smooth that lettering stands proud too. Hopefully this weekend I stumble into something worth snagging up...
Thanks Brother, Ya the ones I see are usually in pretty poor shape. The Kraeuter is in great condition too. I'm very grateful Bryan spotted them and generously brought them over to me. Hope you have a successful hunt! Take it easy Brother. .
Everything turned out great. The oiler is my favorite. The new rust remover looks a lot better than the other, the tools don't come out black. Thanks George
Hello Michael! Thank You! I've noticed that if the solution is clean there is no black residue but as it gets dirty it will leave some but comes off easily with the wire wheel. I would also wire wheel the tools first to keep the solution cleaner but I found it works even if you put them in dirty. I also find that cast iron turns the black color and makes the solution dirty. But I am still using the first batch I mixed. I am still quite happy with the Deox-c and I'll be using it from now on. Take care Brother!
Thanks Brother! The Eagle is just pure beauty! I can't thank Bryan enough for snapping this one up and bringing it over to me. Take care and I'll catch up with ya later.
Well i agree with you on the krauter. Turned out too nice ,been there ....i age em back a bit with wd40 rather than straight oil , it ll dull down thou and look bang on ! The oiler is a gem now , wow george this looks great! A medley of restos and hearing everything including breathing takes me back to that great tool restorer shown on your wall in the background at the intro ... Damn he was good , not as good as you , you get the views .... Keep on as you are , love it !!
Thank You Jim! I didn't realize how clean that Deox C gets the metal ! It does need to be dulled a bit. That oiler is just a piece of art! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Man you speak of is a big inspiration to me and I don't think anyone could ever replace him. . He is a damn fine restorer and his retirement has left a void in our TH-cam watching. We miss him dearly!
Well… you’re official, you can’t call yourself a collector without an eagle 66 on your wall. She’s shiny! Like magdad says, I’m a sucker for brass and wood stuff. I haven’t buffed any of mine out yet, but yours turned out like new. Nice job, thanks
Hey Joe! I do have many oilers but I think this one might be the top of the list for my favorites! We are all suckers for the wood, brass and steel! when you get to doing yours let us know how it comes up. Thanks Brother and I'll catch up with ya later.
Thank You Robert! Honestly don't see too many in good shape like this here either. I collect them especially the Eagle brand ones. I am very grateful to Bryan for picking it up and dropping it off to me. Take care my friend and we'll talk soon.
It works fantastic and when the solution is clean it leaves no discoloration but as it gets dirty it does leave a residue but it will come off easily with the wire wheel. Also I would recommend wire wheeling the tools first. But it does work well just putting them in dirty. I did notice cast iron comes out discolored and dirtys the solution quickly.
They look fantastic. Especially the oiler. I ordered some Deox-c I am wondering how it will work if I use it in the Ultrasonic. I guess we will find out when it gets here. The Kraeuter looked real good with out all the rust, its the first one I have seen without rust on it.Take care Brother.
Thank You Mr. Dale! I'm curious how it works in an ultra sonic cleaner. I haven't done it. I know after your haul of tools from the sales you got plenty to try it on! 😁. Take care Brother. I'll talk to ya soon.
Another idea for that KREUTER wrench Put some BLUEING on it shining them up make some look like they're new old when they're old eagle again my opinion which isn't worth a ****
Thanks Robert, I have used bluing on the handles of the Krauter before but it seems a little too dark. The oil will darken them naturally on the wall. I get what you mean about them looking new when they come out of the cleaners.
George, one word response, Awesome!
Thank You! Awesome indeed. If I do say so myself. I couldn't be happier with these tools.
Grate resto the bevel and oiler are gems gorge thanks a lot
Thanks! I was quite pleased with how well they came up. Take care my friend.
3 absolute gems today George! Great stuff!!! 😃👍
Thanks John, I appreciate it! I am very happy with how they came out.
Wow!! The oiler darn near blinded me😅 The t-bevel is super sharp, and the wrench came out great! Thanks again for the care package and see you soon! Have a great rest of your week!
Thanks Mike! I guess i should have put up a warning 😅. You're welcome Brother. Take care and give the boys an extra treat from me. See ya soon
Wow they all come out really good thank you for the video
Thank You and thanks for watching I really appreciate it!
They cleaned up very nice
Thanks Larry! I am very happy with them.
George all three of those items came out beautifully. Excellent job!
Thank You Mr. Bill!
Wow! All three came out amazing. Especially the oiler, looks better than new, love it!
Thanks Fred G! That oiler is top of my collection now. Everything about it is just perfect! Take it easy Brother!
Super job, George. My favorite in order are the angle finder, oil can, open end wrench.😀👍🏻🇺🇲
Thanks Joe, I would order them oiler , wrench, bevel. Mostly because I actively collect oilers and Kraeuter tools but not gonna pass up a nice angle finder either. Take care Buddy. Catch up with ya soon.

Thank You Clifford! I appreciate it!
Love those oilers!
Thanks! It is a thing of beauty and will be in one of the top spots of my collection.
Wow! that oiler looks great! Nice job George.
Thanks Scott! I appreciate it!
Another wonderful restoration! The oil pumper is my favorite, it looks amazing!
Thanks Buddy! I am over the moon with how that oiler came out. It is top tier of my collection.
Nice job and three great tools Thanks for sharing your time Thanks again George 🍺🍺👍👍
Thanks Brian! I appreciate ya spending some of your time with me. 🍺🍺🍻
Gone are the days when beauty of form and beauty of function were equally important. All three items came up beautifully, but that little oiler is a gem! Thanks for posting, George!

All three came out amazing! That oiler is my favorite by far though, that hard work you put into that one really shines.
Thanks Brother! I am really loving the oiler. It was a lot of work but definitely worth it in the end. Take care and I'll catch up with ya later.
You did a fantastic job keep up the great work
Thank You Patrick. I truly appreciate the encouragement, and thank you for taking your time to watch and leave a nice comment.
Very nice clean up of tools you do good work and you're videos are helpful good job
Thanks Jefferey I appreciate the encouragement Brother! It means a lot to me. Take care My Friend!
A hat trick today for you and us. All three you did a great job on, George.
March 16, 1897...I really love finding tools over 100 years old.
George
Thanks George! It's amazing that these tools are still around. The stuff they make these days won't last that long. Take care Buddy.
Ooohh, you lucky man!! It's that oiler for me, hands down, this is more of an art video than anything else👌🏻
Hey Alex! Isn't it a beauty! I am very grateful to Bryan for picking it up and dropping it off to me. If I come across one in good shape like this I'll be sure to pass it on to ya! Take care Buddy!

That oiler! ....holy smoke.......to me that screams Valentine's Day or Christmas Eve ! For that lucky girl!
Maybe I'll put it on the tree for a topper this year!
Hey !George vraiment une belle restauration, la burette d'huile brille de mille feux ,la fausse équerre superbe et la clé comme neuve. ❤
Hello Patrick! Thank You! I am over the moon with how these came out. Very nice and shiny!
The oiler is fabulous!! I must say that nothing beats brass and wood. Great video brother, better get that wood stove done soon before it gets cold! Have a great rest of the week and a better weekend!

Good job dude all of it looks amazing Like always Keep the faith And rock on
Thanks Brother! I truly do appreciate it. Hope all is well and we'll catch up soon.
Turned out sweet brother that oil pump is golden love it you definitely made them items look like museum quality
Hey Don! Thanks Brother! I love this oiler you know I have a small collection of them and this one will be a cherished addition. Take care hope you are doing well.
@Uwannawatch you're welcome brother I'm doing alright
Great job. I love brass and that Eagle oil can came out fantastic. I also think the T bevel looks great.
Thanks Mike! I love oilers especially Eagle ones. This one is a work of brass art and will be at the top of my collection. The T bevel was just the icing on the cake.
The wrench deserves more credit...looks great even with all that fancy brass hanging around it hogging up the lime light.
Honestly, The wrench is the under rated star of the show. They are extremely rare to find and it came out just fantastic. A wall trophy for sure.
Nice video.
Thanks Brother!

Another great video. God bless you!!
Thank You Greg! i truly appreciate your kind comment. It really means a lot.

You got that eagle back flyin' high! It's came out fantastic! 🦅
Thanks Big Brother! This Eagle's got a shine you can see from a mile away! Crown jewel of my collection!
Not too many things pop as nice as shined brass! Love that Howard's Beeswax/orange oil.
It really is one of the finer things in life. That Howard's is some really good stuff.
Another great video, man that oil can looks good. Take care brother
Thanks Don! I couldn't be happier with how it shined up and it'll be a great addition to my collection. Take care Brother.

Thanks Captain Ivan! It is a jewel in the collection and might just take the top spot! Take care and hope you are doing well!
Great episode George! I love steel, wood and brass tools!
Thanks Man! Who doesn't love wood, brass and steel tools? Nobody we know that's for sure.
That all came out nice man.. I'll tell you w the shine on that oiler it would have made any drill sergeant proud LOL. Very cool
CC!!!! Thanks Brother! It took a lot of work to get that shine but it was soo worth it.
Shiny shiny, me monkey brain like. ;-). Thanks again, George
Thanks Brother! I like the shiny, shiny too!
You cleaned these up real nice. Especially the oil pump looks great.
Thank You! I am over the moon with how nice everything came out. Especially the oil pump it will be a star in my collection and a fantastic user.
Beautiful job George, I love that oil can, never seen anything like it in AUS
Thank You Robert! Honestly don't see too many in good shape like this here either. I collect them especially the Eagle brand ones. I am very grateful to Bryan for picking it up and dropping it off to me. Take care my friend and we'll talk soon.
I do the striking blows with a light hammer on the imperfections I find that works better than grinding them off but that's just my opinion eagle
Dang George, that oiler came out museum quality….now, are you gonna hang it up or use it? Fun video !
Thanks John! It works fantastic so it won't be a shelf sitter. I got it full of oil and I've been using it everyday. You'll be seeing it again.
The Deox-C looks like it performs well. Have you ever seen it discolor a piece like Evaporust?
It works fantastic and when the solution is clean it leaves no discoloration but as it gets dirty it does leave a residue but it will come off easily with the wire wheel. Also I would recommend wire wheeling the tools first. But it does work well just putting them in dirty. I did notice cast iron comes out discolored and dirtys the solution quickly.
