QD: The Matrix! Of course !!! My favourite movie of all time (not only 90s), and is so nice to watch Matrix shoes video's on this channel , very authentic and innovative way to see all that amazing shoes out there ...
QD: Can't choose one. Here's a few: Braveheart, Terminator 2, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Forrest Gump, Seven, Contact, The Truman Show, Matrix, Eyes Wide Shut, A Straight Story, Magnolia, The Sixth Sense, Fight Club, Jurassic Park, The Silence of the Lambs
Great review. Nice to see a really positive opinion on a shoe that is not a racing flat. Being kind to your body is important too while still getting in a workout.
I have about 500 miles on my pair. And they're still going strong😎 The upper is still like new/ usually I'll wear through the upper real quick!!🦾 So I'm impressed
QOD: Life Is Beautiful. I had an assignment to watch it for a college class. I was not excited about that. Then I went and bought it. Because it's awesome. It's a tear jerker especially if you have kids. But it was so good it was even worth watching a movie with subtitles.
Thanks for the great review. My last pair of shoes were the Brooks glycerin 18...they are comfortable but my heels do not like them for some reason. I will try these Hoka and hopefully they will feel better to my heels.
QD: Scream (96) was the first movie that popped in my head. It was the first horror movie I saw in a theater and it’s now such an iconic piece of 90’s cinema.
Pulp Fiction GoodFellas Shawshank Redemption The Big Lebowski Great review, I've never tried any Hokas but these sound pretty excellent and I might get a pair of them 👍 thanks and keep thr reviews coming
Cool to see Jurassic Park for a lot of QoD. Interestingly, I heard on the radio the other day that it is currently the #1 movie in America at the moment. With only a handful of theatres open and no new releases they are showing a lot of older movies, giving JP the #1 spot!
Hi Seth! Love your videos they’ve really helped me deepen my interest and knowledge in running. I was wondering if you would be able to collate your scoring of all the shoes you review so comparing is easier?
QD: So many good movies during the 90s Good fellows Terminator 2 Groundhog day The silence of the lambs Forrest Gump The Matrix The shawshank redemption Jurasik Park The Lion King and more. but my favorite is probably Pulp Fiction
HEAT - Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Val Kilmer, Ashley Judd, Tom Sizemore, Natalie Portman, and Jon Voight just to name a few. One of the best movies made to this day in my opinion ... gangster as F
QD: The 90s were a pretty uninspired decade for film imo but a few that come to mind are : The Truman Show Unforgiven Seven Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
When you say 8.1 what is the criteria? It might be helpful to show us along the way and then finish with your overall score. It seems that all the shoes you review seem to be around the same range. Just an idea.
Hi ... really enjoyed your review of the Clifton 7. I’m running in Bondi 6s at the moment and am looking to perhaps change. I’d like to join your DeMoor Global Running FB page but I can’t answer the ‘access questions’. You appear to do your shoe reviews in an office near to your home patio ... but what do you call your wife? Please help!
So here's a question. I have the Rincon and love running in it. Aside from more durability for the Clifton in the sole, what would make you choose the Clifton over the Rincon for a run? Lots of people seem to have both for training and curious as to why.
I really like my Clifton shoes! But i have been using Newton Running shoes since 2010 as my main shoe (Distance shoe for years now) Couldn`t find any vlog of you testing Newton shoe? I know there was much barefoot/forefoot/natural running hype back then...let`s not go there. I use other shoes, and land on my heal if i feel for it :-) But it would be fun to see you test the Newton Distance shoe one day... QOD: Forrest Gump
Hey James, if I’m using the Clifton as my daily trainer for years, which shoe would you recommend for speed/racing? Given that I have wide feet. Th@nks
QOD: Forest Gump, fun, poignant and feel good; Saving Private Ryan, teared up the first time I watched, I think about all the sacrifices that were made; the most important- Schindler’s List. Tom Hanks rules 💪
To be fair, review scores are always arbitrary and not meaningful, unless you grade objectively which unfortunately no one does anymore these days. With Seth it's basically lockdown and/or weight is fine, he scores >8. Either one of the aforementioned is not to his liking, then it's sub 8.
@Seth James Demoor, how is the bucket seat construction on the shoe? On the 6, I had rough rubbing and chafing on the inside of my foot, around my arch, because of it. Is it the same with the 7?
At 2:32 he gives weight for size 9. At 2:50 he gives weight for his size, which he states. The scale weight given for his size is different than what is said.
No, I understand the difference. My comment is in reference to the difference between the scale reading shown and what is said that the scale reading is. If there is an issue with the scale, it should be calibrated. He gives the size 9 weight at 2:32 (timeline) in the video. Totally separate from each other.
Hey i just ordered the Clifton 7 and want to get a faster shoe but i want it to be hoka what should I go for I was thing like the Mach 4 or rincon 2 or something but I’m not sure because I have really flat feet
QD: The Matrix! Of course !!! My favourite movie of all time (not only 90s), and is so nice to watch Matrix shoes video's on this channel , very authentic and innovative way to see all that amazing shoes out there ...
The clifton 6 is finally on sale! I've been waiting for this!
QOD: Pulp Fiction (`94), Fight Club (`99), The Shawshank Redemption (`94)
QD: Can't choose one. Here's a few: Braveheart, Terminator 2, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Forrest Gump, Seven, Contact, The Truman Show, Matrix, Eyes Wide Shut, A Straight Story, Magnolia, The Sixth Sense, Fight Club, Jurassic Park, The Silence of the Lambs
Got my hands on a pair of these bad boys and ran a little 5k this morning. Superb quality 👌. Like running on clouds. Cant wait to run more on them.
Great review. Nice to see a really positive opinion on a shoe that is not a racing flat. Being kind to your body is important too while still getting in a workout.
QOD: Friday. It’s one of the greatest comedies ever made. Every scene is classic.
QD: Jurassic Park! By a long shot. Still love that movie!
QD: City Slickers it was one of the few VHS's my grandfather had when I spent the summers with him growing up.
QD: Hard to beat Shawshank Redemption.
QD: Shawshank Redemption
QD: Shawshank
I was at a running store yesterday, they said the 7 would be out on July 15th. We’ll see. Great review once more.
I have about 500 miles on my pair. And they're still going strong😎 The upper is still like new/ usually I'll wear through the upper real quick!!🦾 So I'm impressed
Great review Seth. I appreciate your candor.
QD: Dazed and Confused. A few Good men. Scent of a woman. Good fellas. Unforgiven. Rounders. Good will hunting. Saving private Ryan
QOD: Life Is Beautiful. I had an assignment to watch it for a college class. I was not excited about that. Then I went and bought it. Because it's awesome. It's a tear jerker especially if you have kids. But it was so good it was even worth watching a movie with subtitles.
QD: 'Friday' was my favorite. Watched it so many times.
Lots of great ones, but “Without Limits” was a winner in my book.
Thanks for the great review. My last pair of shoes were the Brooks glycerin 18...they are comfortable but my heels do not like them for some reason. I will try these Hoka and hopefully they will feel better to my heels.
Holes by my pinky toe has been the problem with cliftons for me. Switched to triumph 17s and now on glycerine
top gun - sound track is awesome .. love the 90s films with sound tracks
QD: Scream (96) was the first movie that popped in my head. It was the first horror movie I saw in a theater and it’s now such an iconic piece of 90’s cinema.
QOD: Forrest Gump
lol nice choice :)
One of the best running movies ever made
QD: Born in 91 so was a bit young.
Best i watched when growing up: Space Jam
Best i've watched all time from the 90s: Silence of the Lambs
You’re an old man now 😞
I've got the Clifton 7's for my regular 5k-10k's in the week on the road (mainly to protect my legs). Seems like a good option for that kind of use.
Pulp Fiction
GoodFellas
Shawshank Redemption
The Big Lebowski
Great review, I've never tried any Hokas but these sound pretty excellent and I might get a pair of them 👍 thanks and keep thr reviews coming
QD: The Mirror has Two Faces. The story moves me to tears. The Silence of the Lambs. Its film editing is brilliant.
Where is that trail that you are running on at 2:18 into the video. How long is the loop?
Cool to see Jurassic Park for a lot of QoD.
Interestingly, I heard on the radio the other day that it is currently the #1 movie in America at the moment. With only a handful of theatres open and no new releases they are showing a lot of older movies, giving JP the #1 spot!
QD - Cool Runnings !! Still holds up
The 90s was a golden era for electronic dance music
QD: The 90s is my favorite decade by far 😁 Clueless and Good Will Hunting for me.
Hi Seth! Love your videos they’ve really helped me deepen my interest and knowledge in running. I was wondering if you would be able to collate your scoring of all the shoes you review so comparing is easier?
my friend took it too about 600 miles and it looks pretty dang good
QD:
So many good movies during the 90s
Good fellows
Terminator 2
Groundhog day
The silence of the lambs
Forrest Gump
The Matrix
The shawshank redemption
Jurasik Park
The Lion King
and more.
but my favorite is probably
Pulp Fiction
HEAT - Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Val Kilmer, Ashley Judd, Tom Sizemore, Natalie Portman, and Jon Voight just to name a few. One of the best movies made to this day in my opinion ... gangster as F
QD Life is Beautiful or The Big Lebowski
QD: forest gump, les visiteurs(french) , good will hunting, and my favorite movie of all time "when Harry met Sally", although it was released in 1989
reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, the Shawshank redemption, magnolia
QD : Groundhog Day
QotD:
That's really hard. The 90s were great movie wise. Probably Fight Club, but Se7en could be it as well...
Would love to see what this is like after 300 miles
QD: The 90s were a pretty uninspired decade for film imo but a few that come to mind are :
The Truman Show
Unforgiven
Seven
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
FWWM ... how could I forget that one? Think I'll watch it tonight.
When you say 8.1 what is the criteria? It might be helpful to show us along the way and then finish with your overall score. It seems that all the shoes you review seem to be around the same range. Just an idea.
QD: so funny that it relates to your channel in many ways it is the German movie. ‘Run Lola Run’
Seth, if you were stuck on an island (with roads), which five shoes would you pick?!
Hi ... really enjoyed your review of the Clifton 7.
My order is placed. Time to get back out there and get after it?
Nice Colin!! Enjoy the comfy ride!!
Can this elf flare go already? I can’t stand the look and hate every company has jumped on board with it..
Slug 1 don’t knock it till you try it. Fit around the heel from the Clifton 6 to the 7 is the biggest improvement for me
QD: Independence Day is the first that comes to mind. I love the speech!!
QD: Tombstone 100%. (love this vlog)
QD: it has to be HEAT(1995)..and also TOMBSTONE(1993)..both clasics now
Oooo.. I forgot about “Heat”. Yes. Good one ☝️
Can you review the Mizuno Wave Creation (any year/model)? There don't seem to be any full reviews of it online, for such a fascinating shoe!
QD: Heat
QD: Terminator 2: Judgment Day
QD: Glory- amazing cast and acting.
I think that's from 1989
BlueMagic yeah December 1989, so close to the 90s
I really like my Clifton shoes! But i have been using Newton Running shoes since 2010 as my main shoe (Distance shoe for years now) Couldn`t find any vlog of you testing Newton shoe? I know there was much barefoot/forefoot/natural running hype back then...let`s not go there. I use other shoes, and land on my heal if i feel for it :-) But it would be fun to see you test the Newton Distance shoe one day...
QOD: Forrest Gump
Is it softer than the Clifton 6? I hear the 7 is a bit firmer than the Clifton 6, but not by a lot.
QD: Probably spaceballs😂that movie is absolutely hilarious, or happy Gilmore.
Clifton 7 review. Just in time for me to get a new pair of Cliftons. QOD: Friday, Shawshank Redemption, Jurassic Park
Is it worth it, knowing that clifton 6 is on sale now?
Seth, what's your GoPro settings when you run? Mine is so blurry, almost unusable. I have the GoPro 8
QOD: Space Jam! How bout a review of the AirJordans?
Comedy: Robin Williams and Nathan Lane “The Bird Cage”. Drama: “Shawshank Redemption” !
QD: Lion King of course. The 90's wasn't a great decade, it was the best of them all!
QOD: Braveheart
1. The Big Lebowski. 2. LA Confidential. 3. Usual Suspects. 4. Silence of the lambs. 5. Shawshank Redemption. To many to mention!
Hey James, if I’m using the Clifton as my daily trainer for years, which shoe would you recommend for speed/racing? Given that I have wide feet. Th@nks
I had the same question brother.
QOD: Forest Gump, fun, poignant and feel good; Saving Private Ryan, teared up the first time I watched, I think about all the sacrifices that were made; the most important- Schindler’s List. Tom Hanks rules 💪
Did you take the Elevon 2s to 50 miles?
QD: THE MATRIX!!! Seth! YOUR ARE THE CHOSEN ONE! LOL
Harry stamper saved humanity in the 90s, lest we forget
My favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber, so it would also be my favorite 90s movie.
QD: mighty ducks for me
Gotta go with terminator 2
Do you use a rubric for your scores? The numbers seem arbitrary.
To be fair, review scores are always arbitrary and not meaningful, unless you grade objectively which unfortunately no one does anymore these days.
With Seth it's basically lockdown and/or weight is fine, he scores >8. Either one of the aforementioned is not to his liking, then it's sub 8.
How’s the toe box on the 7? The 6 is a hair too narrow...
@Seth James Demoor, how is the bucket seat construction on the shoe? On the 6, I had rough rubbing and chafing on the inside of my foot, around my arch, because of it. Is it the same with the 7?
Qd: Weapons of ass destruction or Buttman vol.8 . Both classics
What socks do you wear?
QOD: Funny Games from Michael Haneke.
which shoe has higher heel ?
QD: ROCKY!
An angle at my table (1990)
Any reason to get the Clifton over the mark 4?
QD: “Hook” with Robin Williams and “Tom and Huck” with Jonathan Taylor Thomas
I don’t know why but these shoes makes my feet hurt so much, after 3 miles they feel like rock!
I just need a shoe thats is wide and supports my weight so spongy any ideas?
Clifton 7 vs Rincon? Which difference?
Again. Why such a difference in weight between the scale reading and what is said?
At 2:32 he gives weight for size 9. At 2:50 he gives weight for his size, which he states. The scale weight given for his size is different than what is said.
@@hankmancil178 guessing the reading jumps around a bit
Yeah. Now that could be. I still love his channel.
No, I understand the difference. My comment is in reference to the difference between the scale reading shown and what is said that the scale reading is. If there is an issue with the scale, it should be calibrated. He gives the size 9 weight at 2:32 (timeline) in the video. Totally separate from each other.
How does the Clifton 5 compare to the Clifton 6 / 7? Any good? Or are the 6 / 7 so much better? 🤔 thanks 🤗😀
How do the Clifton 7 and the Torin 4.5 compare to the Glideride for easy days?
QoD: Pulp Fiction is the first movie that popped in my head.
How does it compare vs brooks adrenaline 21? Asking for concrete surfaces.
Seth it would have been the Rincon that wore quickly .. because it does .. Looking forward to the Torin 4.5 Plush review soon
Happy Gilmore⛳
Is the midsole similar sensation in this Clifton 7 and the Clifton Edge??
Hey i just ordered the Clifton 7 and want to get a faster shoe but i want it to be hoka what should I go for I was thing like the Mach 4 or rincon 2 or something but I’m not sure because I have really flat feet
what size are you
