  • Sunrise to Sunset. A full body yin yoga flow to to add to your morning or bedtime routine! Increase flexibility and find deep relaxation!
    Hello everyone and welcome! This is day 2 in the Summer series "Sunrise to Sunset" where each practice is crafted in such a way that you can do it both in the morning and in the evening. Its gentle enough to get your day started but relaxing enough to wind you down. One of the benefits of doing the same practice twice, is that you are already familiar with the routine and it is a great way to down regulate the nervous system. 🔆🌙
    Today I will be guiding you through a full body sunrise/sunset yin yoga flow. Normally, in a yin yoga practice we hold the poses between 2, 3 and 5 minutes, however, today we will flow through them and find some fluidity in the poses. If when you wake up you feel stiff and heavy, this practice will ease you into motion, to help melt the stiffness away and help with flexibility/mobility. On the other hand, if your looking for an evening wind down before bed, this practice will help melt the stresses of your day away. So, if you need a nudge to get your day started or an escape before bed, this is the perfect practice for you! #yogaflow #eveningyoga #morningyoga
    *P.s. Feel free to do this one in bed! and If reverse table top is too much in the morning take seated figure four.
    This is an all levels practice, perfect for beginners and seasoned practitioners.

      I was never a beverage person. Ever since I started your workouts, I saw you'd keep a drink with you. I got curious about drinks and started to experiment with my own.
      My favourites would be fresh tender coconut water, and peach iced tea ☺️

    This felt sooooooo good! Thank you! I have been consistently doing your sessions almost every day for a year and a half. I have never been injured in any way. This is because you are educated, qualified and certified in what you do. You know which poses should be done in sequence to avoid injury. I can also say that after suffering from lower back pain most of my life and particularly during and after belly dance class or hiking that I no longer experience lower back pain. NONE. That's what a year and a half with an all star yin teacher can do. I can never thank you enough for how you have healed my body. Love to You, you are an absolute treasure 💖

    This has becaome my Sunday routine but i missed this past Sunday. Forgot to bring my mat to the station. So i did it tonight. Very awesome videos. Having some difficulty with some poses due to lack of flexibility but the videos are helping. Be blessed thanks again! 😔🙏🏽

      @YogawithShaunneka Any more pointers to improve the fire log pose? Frog and fire log are both so challenging.

      @emmaeIIe Prop your pose! You can use blocks under your feet, under your knee, and under your foot. You can also take a simple cross-legged position. it's gentler, but you get a similar stretch. I'll try to do a demo/short for this. I hope this helps 😊

      I did it after dinner. Love the yin flow! Just what I needed to wind down from a long, hot day. I have been drinking water all day, every day because it has been so hot and humid. Usually, I enjoy a cup of cinnamon herbal tea or a peach turmeric tea. I might make an iced version if it doesn't cool down soon! I loved the wringing out at the end! I could imagine myself letting go of all of my stress. Thank you for another awesome practice! It is a true treat having an extra class during this series! ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️❤️
