12:19 Recap
Thank you for this awesome video . It’s really nice to see a dad making this type of content . I’ve drowned my husband in baby videos from women but hearing from dads POV is amazing …. Could you possibly make a video what it was like the first few days home with a newborn and ways you supported your wife in the first days of postpartum. Thank you so much new subby here ! 😊
You're so welcome! Thank you so much for your feedback and ideas. I can absolutely make a video around this and I think some content from this video could also be helpful - especially the last tip in this one: th-cam.com/video/LEme7HGfGZI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LP9tCSc2M_uTV9-w
I just uploaded this video and I hope it helps!

This is so encouraging and thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
Thanks for making this video! FTM due in a month, and my husband and I watched your video and found it super helpful! Really appreciate how straight to the point you are, and how you included simple visual aids and the brands of items you personally used. Keep up the great work, I subbed immediately! 😊
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! So excited for you. I'm glad that you found the video helpful and I'd love to hear from you if you find any other essential items that would be helpful for others also!
Amazing content, truly just the essentials...thank you

What are your thoughts on the Mockingbird stroller? My wife and I are between the Mockingbird 2.0 and Vista v2 for our stroller. Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you!
Thank you! I’m really happy that you found the content helpful!
For the stroller decision, you narrowed it down to two really good options! We were about to go with the Uppababy or Nuna travel systems until we heard about the Mockingbird system and tried it out.
All things considered, the Mockingbird 2.0 and Vista 2.0 are essentially direct competitors in terms of features and the accessories they offer. The biggest difference is the cost where the Mockingbird is ~1/2 the cost. Some of the intangible things that you’ll want to try for yourself is how well each of them fit into your car or your mode of transportation. You’ll want to test how easy you find to fold and unfold the strollers with one hand (since you’ll be doing this a lot!)
In terms of weight of the stroller frame itself, it looks like the Mockingbird is 1 lb lighter than the Vista V2, so this could be significant if you’ll be carrying the stroller up and down stairs or in & out of car trunks often.
The last thing to think about is the car seat decision. It appears that Mockingbird car seat adapter is compatible with almost all major car seat brands whereas the Vista V2 is compatible with a fewer set of brands. So, if you’re still considering which car seat to go with and you want to get a stroller first, then the Mockingbird will give you more flexibility and freedom for your car seat decision.

Hope this helps! Would love to hear which one you decide to go with.
