You are glowing! Love the philosophy of keeping it simple with new-born baby items. Also, love your creativity with pregnancy clothes!

Love your video! Do you mind share the pacifier brand that you showed in the video? Thank you!

Sure thing! It’s the ‘NUK Comfy Orthodontic Pacifiers, 0-6 Months’. I will say, it’s on the large size for a newborn, but it has been a favorite of both of my sons from ~3m-2yrs. Congrats on your baby!! 🤍

Roll a blanket and put in pillowcase instead of dock a tot. You can adjust as they grow. Works great!

      Totally!
I got the Snuggle Me this time and my baby didn’t even use it. If I have a third baby i’ll probably cut this list in half haha.

An odd thing that I used a ton was a tap light. Not too bright, it was great for middle of the night feeds/changes and I could take it anywhere. Also loved the Lansinoh version of the haakaa and an off brand dock a tot. Other than that, diapers, wipes, a bassinet, wrap/carrier and sleepers are really the most essential for me!

I totally could have (and still could) use one of those. I have always struggled with the night light sort of thing. I had a Hatch light with my first son and didn't love it. And I never tried the Lansinoh version of the Haakaa -- it sounds great. Love your essentials. Thanks for watching!

I used a salt lamp for a nursing and midnight changing. Was adjustable and a warm light worked well.

Thank you for taking the time to watch! My new baby is here and I feel like i’m using a little less than last time around with my first baby. You really don’t need a lot. Congrats on your little one ✨🤍

The hakaa is amazing! I used it daily for a year.
So in the US do they not recommend flat prams? The pram you linked looks very snazzy, but here in the UK they don't recommend that babies under 6 months spend too much time in the carseat style prams where they are curled up. The completely flat carrycot allows for their spine to develop properly

That flat prams are definitely a lot less common here for whatever reason. Some people use them, but I feel like it’s for the first few months and not all the way until 6 months. Just an observation - I’m no doctor lol. I bought a flat bassinet attachment for my pram for our last baby, but only used it a handful of times before he outgrew it. I just try to limit the time that my baby is in carseat/stroller to a small amount each day. And pray it all works out. HA!

Loved this video! It’s so hard to keep it minimal especially with people buying you stuff and getting second hand items given to you 😅😅

I feel you on that one. I just say thank you then donate it later lol. Gotta do what you gotta do to keep your house manageable. Congrats on your baby!

The car seats aren’t suitable to keep the baby for longer periods of time. The baby spine is bent for too long and it can cause damage. Also their airways might be obstructed by the way the baby lies in a c shape. I’ve actually heard of someone loosing the baby in the car seat/ stroller type thing. This thing is a no.

Hi Paula! Totally. I keep him in my carrier on walks not in the stroller. Just use it for quick trips around town. Thanks for watching! 😊
