Watching this while am having a sleepless night... My back is aching and am waiting for my big miracle in 5 weeks time. Praying for all babies born during this Corona pandemic. God's going to protect us and our babies ❤️
kween x lolz I’m almost 33 weeks, it’s going too fast for me i don’t feel prepared. Having this baby after 14 years of trying, fertility treatments and spending thousands. I’m so grateful, but for me it’s just going too fast. I just don’t feel prepared 🤷🏻♀️, confused all over the place. And lazy as a slug lolz.
@@rahbid121 congratulations! 😢💗 i'm really happy for you. don't worry you'll figure everything out..i'm also not prepared 🤣 but i'm sure we'll do great 🤗🤗

Never would have thought of that and making sure that the car has gas. Things no one ever includes in their videos but they will tell you the brand name of the 50 pillows they're putting in their Louis Vuitton 😂

Hey everyone, I’m also due in July as well!!! First time mom to a baby boy, I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant, my cervix is already shortening at 1.25cm and I’m currently on bed rest, rebuking preterm labor in the name of Jesus, Amen. Praying that everyone have a healthy baby and delivery with speedy recovery 🥰
I've been watching your videos for so long, I found out two days after Christmas that I'm pregnant with my fourth. Lost the other 3 sadly, but this one seems to be my miracle! Watching your videos now is giving me so much confidence! Thank you!
It has been a pleasure following you during this pregnancy. I am now 39weeks and 3days and just waiting for my princess to arrive. You are like the ONLY person that remembered to remind us about Gasoline for the car. Lol its definitely something we all need to do! Thank You for your many tips. God bless you and the family
Hi Emily, I first watched this about 3.5 years ago when I was pregnant with my first. It was the first video I ever saw on your channel and from there I was hooked! I’m now due my second baby in 2 months and I came back to it to refresh my memory. Just wanted to say thanks so much x
Of all the what’s in my hospital bag videos. Your video is the best. Very simple not excessive and over packing like those videos out there. I’m using yours an example to I pack mine. Super helpful👍🏼
If you in another country I guess but in America all you need is an outfit for you to go home in and outfit for the baby to go home in and a car seat literally everything else is provided unless you want the baby in its own clothes instead of hospital onesies
When I started researching about Baby Information in general 3 months ago, I binged watched a lot of your videos Emily. My wife is now 39 weeks pregnant and we are super nervous and excited. Thank you so much for all your awesome videos! I really love how sweet you are, and your accent as well! Love all the videos with Matt!
I am 37 weeks and 4 days, time is for sure getting away from me and this video was BEYOND helpful! I legit took notes like Im attending lecture lol but I could not think of 1 thing you could've missed THANK YOU ❤
I was so nervous and lost about what to pack. I feel super confident now after watching this. You're so organised. Thank you for all the tips and advice x
37 weeks pregnant and here we are lol. 3rd time round but it doesn't hurt to check for some stuff I might not know I need. All the best to mommies to be.🤗 Can't wait to meet little man in a few weeks💪🏾
During my first pregnancy I watched many pregnancy essential videos and took so much stuff to the hospital, only to find out that they provide you with literally everything in that suitcase here in Germany. I dint have to use a single thing I took for the baby until the day we brought him home. Also there were mesh underwears and heavy duty pads for the mothers. Except of course toiletries and phone chargers and pj's etc. But I still watch these videos cuz it's so organised and makes me calm 😊
Have always packed light bags in my last two pregnancies and ended up spending 7 days in hospital. This time I'm packing my whole house. Hopefully it just be two days this time. Love your hospital bag.
Thank you for the detailed video! Im on week 36 and want to get things organized for when bebé comes. Your videos have been super helpful and even more during the Corona times when we can't see many people!
Small hair brush, dry shampoo...maybe extra throw for hubby or you...I find hospital blanket to thin...but everything else you packed is pretty spot on :) giving birth is such a amazing experience, which I wish people would embrace more
I was sweating so much after giving birth! Didn’t need more than the thin hospital blanket and I stayed naked underneath the whole time until we got ready the check out two days later! My husband said the postpartum room was freezing but I don’t recall being cold at all lol
I was definitely overthinking what I needed to pack because I’m a first time mom and my baby should arrive within 3 weeks but this video is definitely very helpful 💕
I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I just packed my bag and posted my "what's in my hospital bag" today too! (it's my second baby too so I learned a lot my first time!)love the gray and yellow blanket--so adorable!
Best video I've seen thankyou, I'm due in 8 weeks with my first baby really wanting to get my bag organised other video's have really overwhelmed me with excess of things
I'm here to thank you for the video, my baby is now 19 months only year ago I didn't have a clue what to do after I had a baby I was so scared and nervous I found your video and I felt a lot better to have your advice and some idea for what to bring and what not. Next year we're planning on having no2 hopefully I'm ready for everything again , thanks again from the bottom of my heart 😊
I'm a beginner mom and my baby will be born from the end of January to early February and I'm watching these so I can be prepared without over packing.
I have to saved this video like 3 months ago so I wont forget important stuff that I need! This made my preparation for my hospital bag easy! Thank you so much! 7 weeks to go here! 😊😉👍
My second baby due soon and I forgot all about ! Luckily I found you again !😂thank you. You helped me a lot in my first pregnancy. Living alone with my partner and no family around so TH-cam is my source. 🙏☺️❤️
About patrol.. my stepmom actually felt so good during labour she drove herself to hospital, with my father as passenger, AND stopped at gas station, filled tank up, went to pay for the patrol and continued on, to give birth to my little brother :) And as calming as it seems to sound, even she thanked god for epidural later...
I am a First Time Mom & I Love How Straightforward You Were Without Chatting Too Much. It Was VERY Helpful for me indeed. I have seen others that talked almost an hour and it gave me a migraine and you helped me without doing that much and I Appreciate it and I also love how organized you were & How You Minimized The Things to Put In The Bag Some People Pack As Though They Intend to Move In The Hospital & Its Overwhelming. Thanks alot For Not Being So Overbearing. ❤❤❤❤ #April2019
Soon to be a first time mummy. I found this video helpful in terms of sharing practical advice on what to pack for the mom, baby and dad. A comprehensive list of all things that may be needed. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and sharing it on TH-cam
Thank You! I wasn't sure about watching other mum's tips, but I've tried and thankfully I've found Your channel. It's my first pregnancy, I don't have any help (no siblings, my mom died few years ago) and I've found Your advices so useful! Thank You once again!
thank you for not packing your house. I see some other video and I'm shocked that they don't take there bed lol Thank you for all the likes a comments. Two years later I just saw them 🥰
Koral Partaker THIS COMMENT IS MY LIFE 😂. As a nursing assitant in a maternity ward I HATE when people bring everything in their house but the kitchen sink...especially when they lay it all on the bed right after birthing it makes it hard to get around them and do the caring and monitoring we need to do.
I’m back from three years ago because I need a refresher and couldn’t remember what to bring. I’m having a girl this time, I’m 36 weeks and nesting. I’m glad to be back because I love this video because it helped big time. 😆❤️🤗🥰
im guessing the hospitals in the UK are different from the US. In the US, they provide onsies and diapers and wipes while you are there, all you need is a bringing home outfit for the baby, and a carseat. Also they give you a hat as soon as the baby is born, either blue or pink. And if you don't want to breastfeed, they give you already made formula in one use bottles.
I guess it's because healthcare is private in the US, so seeing as you've paid/you're paying, you get hose extra luxuries. In the UK, it's 100% FREE to have a baby in a hospital, so I guess we don't have those added benefits.
It’s convenient but then again giving birth is always at least $20k and get ready for the bills! I had a miscarriage and right after the news, the person that collects my info to charge me walked in my room while I cried, asked all my info, and told me to feel better.
Thank you u just helped me back the babies bag for the hospital and now I know what to pack in my bag I’m 32 weeks and already having contractions they stopped my contractions 2 times already this my 3 rd baby and I was never prepared when I went in to labor so thanks for the help may God bless you abundantly
I'm due in 9 days and this video was perfect!! I had to recheck my list and make sure I had everything and you helped me so much - especially since this is my first baby! Thank you beautiful! Xx
Obviously I'm not pregnant but I loved watching this, it brought back memories from this time 3 yrs ago when I was packing my hospital bag for Oliver's birth. Your pregnancy has flown over, I can't believe how close you are to meeting your little bundle of joy xx 💙 xx
So helpful. Thank you. 31 weeks today with our first little man and was very confused about the different clothing to take. This explains things so clearly. X
Having my first baby in 33 days (a girl❤️) and I have nothing packed because everytime I think about i get so overwhelmed but your video made it so easy and I’m going to start our bags tomorrow
This is the simplest and most practical list that I found so far without showing off any branded whatever things. The best! And you confirmed my idea about getting different sizes for baby.. Thank you so much! On my 20th week now and trying to get ready a few things at a time - you never know when you get to rush over the hospital. 😉
I love watching this been stressing over little things my baby isnt due till october this year but love how much detail is in this video and explainations ect ... really great for a first time parent to be 🙌 making notes and taking tips thank you x
This is really comprehensive information, Em - I especially like the idea of packing a partner bag with snacks and things, and the exact change for the car park at the hospital. I would not have thought of that.
Great overview...straight to the point. I had to pack more because I was in and out of the hospital during my pregnancy. So yes, I was one of those people who packed the house due to the time I spent in the hospital.
This has made me so excited to give birth! Of course I'm scared as hell too as it's my first but just made me think of holding him! Very useful video, thank you!
Am 32 weeks pregnant and I can't wait to pack based on your list. The best video among all. Honestly it's much better and easier rather than take everything. Haha
This was the exact swift kick in the bum I needed to finally pack my hospital bag. So helpful and relieved I still have some time (35 weeks tomorrow) hopefully to order a few bits!
Very organised hospital bag! Love the idea of change for the car park! For home birth, lots of old towels and I bought hot water bottles to layer inbetween so they were warm as the heating wasn't on as it was summer. Loads of candles to create ambience and aromatherapy atomiser with calming or energising oils depending how things are going. Lots of absorbent bedmats to put on the couch immediately after birth (when most messy!). Old bed sheets and plastic decorating covers/tarpaulin for furniture and floor during labour so you can move around freely without worrying about ruining furniture etc. I had a birth pool so I put tarpaulin on the floor and layered fleece blankets on top so it wasn't slippy but the floor was protected. Tea, coffee and biscuits for midwives. Sure your midwife has filled you in on what you need also. Such an exciting time! Good luck xx
Love this video, I'm 36 weeks pregnant today!!! I sort of have my bag ready but don't and it's nowhere near as organised as yours, I'm going to get it done finished tonight you have given me a kick up the bum xxx
hi Emily, first I wish you a smooth labor and delivery...second, for the maternity stay in September ! I had the same thought that hospitals usually hot for little ones but when I gave birth to my little girl it was so cold and the hospital didn't turn the heaters on cuz they have a central heating system that is programmed for specific dates !! it was freezing at night and my little lost so much weight cuz she was burning all the breast milk for heating and still was cold my poor little angel!...I didn't know back then cuz she is my first baby! but I just wanted you to know so you can check with your hospital about it !...sorry it's long comment, I hope you read it.. hugs and kisses
This is my favourite "What's in my Hospital Bag" video ever. So so helpful and concise. Less than 20 weeks to go and I already feel like I know exactly what to take. Just as a first time mum, how many weeks should you be before you pack the hospital bag?
great video I'm really nervous about labour I'm due March 5th 2017 my first baby scared I won't be able to push but also excited to finally meet my baby Xxxx
Hi! Ive watch alot of videos about your topic. And your the only one who really help me what to bring when Im ready for my labor. And the things you present is really reliable for new mommy like me. Thank you!
Very good video! I think in most countries the maternity bag is the same. In Romania, some hospitals give you a list with what you should bring. It's mostly the same. For the mother: clothes for 3 days, undergarments (disposable ones if you can), brest pump (if you have one), cosmetics and hygene products (as you please). For the baby: clothes for 3 days, pampers, wet wipes, rash cream, shower gel.
same, I'm due in december too and I can't barely get enough sleep nowadays. tomorrow I'm going to wash my baby clothes so they'll be ready to be packed 😁
I saw last time her video 4 years ago when I was expecting my 1st child , after 4 years still watching her video for the 2nd child. Love her video so much,
I’m just watching this now October 2019. Congrats to all of you who have given birth to your new babies this month!!! 🥳🥰 I’m due January 1st but I think she will come sooner 😊
Love that you kept it simple and didn't overpack! (and love your socks!!) I'm on baby #3 too and feel like I will pack like a minimalist as well- mostly because the hospital I'm birthing at provides basically everything necessary for baby and mama! :)
I am- I know it's different in Europe. I lived in Europe for a few years and almost had my first there; we moved back when I was 7 mo. lol But living in Europe while I was pregnant really opened my eyes to wanting a more natural birth :) I feel like in Europe they don't force as many interventions -- at least in Italy where I lived.
Going on my 5th child, last one was in 2010. It feels new to me again! I love this video. Thank you 🖤 & thank you for reminding me to bring extra needs for the hubby lol They probably need it the most, its gana be C-Section delivery so, he'll be in for couple days.. 💞

Good luck . You'll make it
This is the simplest and most practical list that I found so far without showing off any branded whatever things.
Thank you for this video! I first watched it in 2018 preparing for my daughter's birth and now 2020 for my second baby.
This is really comprehensive information, Em - I especially like the idea of packing a partner bag with snacks and things, and the exact change for the car park at the hospital. I would not have thought of that.
Ha ha thanks mom! I've learnt - becoming a pro now ha xx

Hello Beautiful Lady
Nice profile picture when was it taken.
Watched this 2 years ago before I had my son and rewatching before I have my daughter lol thanks Emily xx
I have a grandson on the way...I know wat to do already but I have to sharpen up my memory I hadn't took care of a baby since 1998..😘😘😂😂
Great overview...straight to the point.
Wdsfff
OMG thank you so much for this - this is so useful! Off to panic buy all of these things right now xx
My EDD is may 15th 2021 im so happy and thank you for this 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏you helped a lot than i can imagine maa
Mine too🤗🤗
Did you deliver your baby alreadyyyyy?? 😍😍
Today is the big day. All the best!
I can tell you are a seasoned mum...to the point and what's needed.
Love this video, I'm 36 weeks pregnant today!!! I sort of have my bag ready but don't and it's nowhere near as organised as yours, I'm going to get it done finished tonight you have given me a kick up the bum xxx
Thanks a lot . It's my first time and this video really helped me I wasn't aware of what i should pack for myself. I found it the right time
That's good to hear, I'm so glad it has helped! Thank you for watching xx
hi Emily, first I wish you a smooth labor and delivery...second, for the maternity stay in September !
I'm super excited, it's my first pregnancy. Im also incredibly terrified, your videos are the only ones that don't scare me more.
Applause 👏👏👏 for having the snuzzler ready in the car seat. Keeps small babies safe from bubbling around in the car seat.
I watched this video so many times during my pregnancy last year. Somehow it helped me to relax. 🤰🏻💙
Soon to be first time mom here. Super excited!!!! This video has been very helpful. Working on my hospital bag as I speak.
I am so glad 😊 I found you. The luggage 🧳 makes more sense. I WAS going to do a cute gym bag, but this way more easier!
This is my favourite "What's in my Hospital Bag" video ever. So so helpful and concise. Less than 20 weeks to go and I already feel like I know exactly what to take.
Just as a first time mum, how many weeks should you be before you pack the hospital bag?
Hannah Rachel Freeman they say to have your hospital bag ready at 30 weeks
Hello Beautiful Lady
I’m sure I watched this last time I was pregnant and I will be using your list again for January thanks for the info Emily xx

1st time mum here, this has to be the best what to pack I've watched.
I was definitely over thinking my hospital bag.
I'm due in three weeks and realized I hadn't made a hospital bag. Great video, thank you for showing us a simple bag.
Hi! Ive watch alot of videos about your topic. And your the only one who really help me what to bring when Im ready for my labor. And the things you present is really reliable for new mommy like me. Thank you!
thank you for taking 2 hours out of your day to make a 15 minute video. i guess i never realized how long it takes to do these
brenda bennett but, it's not two hours... it's one...
nemam. reci - Editing and uploading also takes time.
It is very helpful video specially for a new mum and a good reminder for a second and more mums.
Watched this video when I was pregnant with my first and now rewatching for my second ❤️
Romy Fernandez same!
@@Fruitfulaccounting Hello nice meeting you and how was your day?
Very good video! I think in most countries the maternity bag is the same. In Romania, some hospitals give you a list with what you should bring. It's mostly the same. For the mother: clothes for 3 days, undergarments (disposable ones if you can), brest pump (if you have one), cosmetics and hygene products (as you please). For the baby: clothes for 3 days, pampers, wet wipes, rash cream, shower gel.
Found this very helpful..im due in Dec and a lil anxious bout everything. I like to b prepared.
same, I'm due in december too and I can't barely get enough sleep nowadays. tomorrow I'm going to wash my baby clothes so they'll be ready to be packed 😁

I saw last time her video 4 years ago when I was expecting my 1st child , after 4 years still watching her video for the 2nd child. Love her video so much,
This is the best hospital bag video I've seen so far! I'm off to pack mine right now! Thank you ☺
Best video so far...well detailed and no excess packing, just the basics
For a moment there I thought the grey samples were condoms 😂
Thanks for the helpful video ❤️
Abit too late for condoms don't you think?
As I prospective first time dad... this video has been invaluable

25th of October here #teamoctober 💕
I’m just watching this now October 2019. Congrats to all of you who have given birth to your new babies this month!!! 🥳🥰 I’m due January 1st but I think she will come sooner 😊
Love that you kept it simple and didn't overpack! (and love your socks!!) I'm on baby #3 too and feel like I will pack like a minimalist as well- mostly because the hospital I'm birthing at provides basically everything necessary for baby and mama! :)
That is amazing that they provide lots! Are you in America? Xx
I'm a new mother to be so I'm vary happy to hear this❤️☺️
I just recently tried the water wipes too and I really like them and the fact they have such minimal ingredients
excellent presentation, straight to the point, direct accurate and precise. this is the best on Baby prep video on youtube. blessings from Naija
