Ah the bag issues. We got our bag from a friend because well... We're poor! Yes the baby bags look cute and pretty and so does a cute bag for when you take into hospital, but they're way too expensive, for a bag. Yes ours is black, and boring, but it does what I've meant to do. It's the same with everything else, we bought a second hand cot for £25, second hand pram for £40. You absolutely do not need to spend lots of money especially when babies grow up too fast.
The bag I love the most is the PacaPod, Mainly for the "inside" pods/bags which i move around to different backpacks and diperbags depending on where im going :D. Thank you for sharing, great video! :D

First time mommy-to-be here. I’m due in November! Thank you so much for your comments, must of your regrets help me to decide to eliminate some things off my list. You see so much in the market that can sometimes be overwhelming. In your opinion, do you recommend to buy the breast pumps early in advance or once you have your baby to see if you’re able to breastfeed?..
Hello!!! Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a meaningful comment! As for breast pumps, I think you should buy this earlier. You’ll still have to stimulate milk production which means you need it pretty much once your baby is here! I got mine through my insurance and it was fully covered, so make sure to check your insurance plan before purchasing it on your own!
It’s so crazy I agree with all your regrets. And some of them I didn’t buy because I knew it would work for me. Your content is honest which is awesome
I feel like everyone’s reviews will be different because it’s based on your situation and your child, but I know people swear by it!! Just wasn’t for us 😢
Hmmmmm over direct snow that’s not plowed, probably no. But overall if you’re thinking you need it during your errands where there should be minimal snow, yes.
Thank you for the super helpful video! I am pregnant with my first baby and currently have the keekaroo on my registry but I’m having second thoughts after hearing your opinion on it. I was curious what changing pad you use and like?
How did you like using the Doona during the winter months? I’m due in Oct and I’m worried that the dirty wheels will trash the back seat with snow and salt?
A lot of this stuff is way to expensive…and beige😭The crib for example, is only a 3 in 1 you said? I’ve found one that’s a 6 in 1, where it eventually converts to a twin bed I believe and it’s a little less expensive than that one, although I have seen that beige crib many times, I just don’t see how the price justifies it. I am a first time mom so maybe I’m looking at prices to much but for my son, that’s not even here yet😂 we got a pack n play that has a bassinet, two smaller bottom parts after he outgrows the bassinet, and even a changing table attached to it. I also got it for free for attending a safe sleep class to prevent SIDS. So far most of the baby equipment we have is babytrend stuff😂 got a jogging stroller as a gift that was also babytrend😂 thrift store shopping has also been my go to for clothes and toys because they just grow to much and there’s no reason to spend fortunes on clothes for a few months. As well as using some things that I already had in my room for storage. I agree with the pee pads😂 I’ve been trying to find a diaper bag for a while but I’m not sure what will work the best for me yet. My parents used a normal crossbody backpack when I was little. I was thinking of using my bag called “loveook“ but just concerned it won’t be insulated enough for milk and stuff. your daughter is super adorable and I love her name💖
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!!! Yes, I totally agree that a lot of the stuff is definitely expensive! And I think I know which pack n play you have 🥰 I feel like that’s a goood one! I’m so glad you got to get so many hand me downs! It definitely makes things easier!
@@AngiesTable yes for sure! The one I have is a “space themed” one, it’s super cute and gender neutral. I also have a walker thing that I had when I was little and I’ve always made it my mission to save it no matter what because it’s 1, special to me since I was adopted and my parents got it for me, because when they adopted me I was already 1 so sitting crawling etc, and 2, because baby toys aren’t necessarily cheap😂 I’m blessed to have so many amazing people around me to help out though that’s for sure. Oh and you mentioned a baby carrier, I got the infantino one, it’s like a 3 in 1, and I got it at target!
This is an advertisement. Don’t even attempt to get the things she mentions. For example the doona is not a necessity it’s way to expensive and doesn’t have a long life span. What is a necessity is a car seat with a bottom. Try the evenflo. You can attach the car seat and once they are too big for the kid car seat it has a toddler seat that attaches to the stroller. I hate these kind of videos. She is either looking for endorsements or she already has them.
@@ms.williams3745 This is not an advertisement! Anytime I have an advertisement, I always mention it. This is my honest opinion based off of 1+ years of use that I bought with my own money.
I see everyone loves Dr. Brown bottles but I saw it has low levels of lead. I am hoping they are able to fix this before mine comes because I want to try it!!
When it was the bassinet, we used the Nestig sheets. Now we have the regular crib, where we use the Newton breathable mattress which comes with the breathable mattress cover! (Comes with the mattress)
Hey Angie thank you for this video super helpful! Wondering what your thoughts are on the BabyLetto glider/ rocking chair? Is it worth getting? Did you get much use out of it?
Hate that stroller. Y? Cause its 400 to 600 for a stroller u can use for no more than a yr, if ur lucky. Most babies outgrow a carseat like this by 9 months. Sure the other strollers might be the same price, but once ur child outgrows the carseat u still have a stroller. If u want a stroller carseat, mightvas well get a graco or any other stroller carseat base, and u get a basket in the bottom. Plus it has a similar concept even if its 2 pieces and still only last upto a yr. Still its a fraction of the cost.
Haha we have doggie poop bags so we throw each individual diaper in one of those and throw it out directly into our garbage can in the garage for garbage day!
@@AngiesTable Oh my goodness, thanks for clarifying. My path to the garbage bin isn’t as convenient as yours and I was like “if not in the pail then where?!” This was such a great video. Thanks so much. 🙏
Hi! We made sure to buy swaddles/sleep sacks warm enough for the cold nights, a humidifier, space heater that controls the temperature in the room, car seat covers for going out, bottle warmer, plenty of hats to keep their little heads warm, and zipper footsie pajamas with built in mittens. Hope this helps!
I’ve never used the nuna travel stroller, but Doona is better for newborns as it is a 3-1 car seat stroller. I believe the nuna stroller is better for when they can start sitting up more. But then, you’ll probably have to bring a separate car seat and base as well. They both have their pros and cons, and it’s a matter of what fits best for you and your family’s lifestyle!
Nuna hands down. I have the Demi grow. Given babies shouldn’t spend too much time in a car seat anyway you get more options and longevity. I’ve never seen the appeal of the doona.
Doona is also without a base which is the appeal for it! It’s perfect for places like NYC where you have to hope between an Uber to walking right away!
@@AngiesTable Great. We have used them for both of our boys and will for our third. They are proven to support the baby, put the baby's body in a good position, and feel secure.
I checked the prices of these items, and damn they are really pricey. TBH I really can't justify such spending personally even though I can afford it. I'm finding second-hand market much more cost-efficient and just as good, specially considering that kids grow out of these things so fast.
I thought about whether I should even write this comment or not. I don't want to offend anyone. After all, this is a sensitive topic. but there are so many first-time mothers in the comments who seem to rely heavily on the advice that I have to say what I know about certain topics because many of the products and information here are even dangerous. First of all there is this stroller, which isn't a real stroller. It is not healthy for the back if the child lies in a baby seat for too long. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable during a car journey and all you can do about it is to take enough breaks. However, if you use this unhealthy baby seat as a stroller outside of car journeys, the children will inevitably stay in this position for too long. This can lead to enormous posture problems. At this point I ask myself what is more important. Of course, a two-in-one product is very practical, but you inevitably have a negative point when you use the product. Either you have to take many more breaks than are necessary (and even then the position is still unnecessarily unhealthy) or you ignore this factor completely, which would cause even more harm to the child. Next up is this carrier that is actually designed for hiking. A three month old baby is too small to use this. Normally children that age, cannot sit yet (I cannot imagine that a three-month-old child can sit at this age, but I would not like to doubt this claim at this point, perhaps this child is one of the few here). However, it is not healthy for such a small baby to sit for long periods of time and unfortunately, just like the car seat, people tend to use these products for too long at a time. I don't want to assume that the family here belongs to this group of people. Maybe these things are on your radar. But then you have to name it, because many people won't have something like that on their radar. When you promote certain products, you also have a certain responsibility towards the people who see it. Then there is this seat that is supposed to serve as a toy. Too much, too loud. Too many stimuli for such a small child. And this product can again cause the child to sit for too long at a time. lastly there is this “snuggle me”. very practical if you have to put the child down somewhere. But you still have to keep an eye on the child because these products can lead to so-called sudden infant death syndrome. Because the products are not breathable and this results in a recoil of the breathing air that the baby expels. So thats it. I hope I wasn't being too harsh, but these are things that needed to be said.
Hello! Thanks for your input! Of course, everyone has different opinions, especially when it comes to their child. This is why I said this video was just from my experience! I did want to mention that a Doona is a real stroller! It has wheels and on their website, i states that it met the strictest US standards for car seats, strollers, and hand-held carriers! For the Osprey hiking bag, Ella was lifting her head from the moment she was born, sitting up with amazing neck strength at 3 months and took her first step at 9 months. Yes, she is very fast and unlike most kids when it comes to development and milestones. According to the website, as long as they’re able to lift their head up and sit upright without assistance, they’re good to go (~6 months). This back pack was mentioned for families who like to go back-packing or hiking a lot, and obviously, when your child is able to sit, we would obviously assume you’re not putting a newborn here. We usually went on 30-40 min walks with it. Maybe, mention it to your pediatrician to confirm if your child is ready for it! Ella didn’t sit in her activity chair for more than 5 to maximum 10mins at a time. So seeing that she doesn’t have a problem with sitting independently, I don’t think there really is a big issue here! She was able to work on her fine motor skills and understand textures a functions. Yes, I agree. When on the snuggle me, you should be keeping an eye on your child! For us, we didn’t really use it and was part of our regrets because we couldn’t use it without us being there.
Not too harsh you're providing factual information that is also available on the Aus government website and other reputable places. Agree with you that some of these products are not advisable for all and it's very much specific for use for their family and baby. Which to be fair she consistently stated throughout her video.
Doona is ok but not a replacement for a stroller! Should only be used 2 hours top! To avoid the baby choking to death. All baby car seats, non flat like rockers etc should be used for way less than 2 hours
Dune is only good for traveling. Imaging your baby is in same position for hours. You have to change places/positions for your baby every so often, so being in the same car seat for hours is not good.
I thought about this when I got the Donna as well but the truth is most people would never have their tiny baby in a car seat for hours. As long as you are paying attention to how long your out of the house and how long she’s been in the car seat you are fine. I found that if I had multiple earns or for some reason was out and about for extended periods of time I would take my baby out and carry or wear her when I wasn’t in the car. Minus having a gravel drive way and therefore having to lug my doona in the house I found it extremely convenient and it definitely wasn’t risking my babies safety. I did have a different stroller with bassinet for long walks outside as well though.
I would choose incontinence pads as they are made from safer, medical grade material. Dog pee pads have certain chemicals within them that I’m not 100% on board with
A doona isn’t safe though especially cause a baby can only be in a car seat for max 2 hours it should never replace a regular buggy please don’t tell other people dangerous misinformation
Hello! The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Doona infant car seat a 5-star rating for ease of use in October 2016. The Doona also meets federal safety standards and its materials are tested and approved to comply with CPSIA and CPSC regulations.
The doona stroller is hyped up too much. It doesn't have under carriage storage, or bottle holders and you cannot utilize it as they grow. Such a waste of money. I'm glad I didn't become a sheep and but it! So many better options available that make sense.
How do you go about making sure she’s not been in the Doona for more than half an hour at a time? Medical guidelines state a baby should be in the car seat position for any more than half an hour, and no longer than 2 hours up to two years as they don’t have a lie down function and can cause growth and breathing difficulties 🫤 was considering getting one but this is a dealbreaker for me
I guess there are no car seats that have a lie down function so, just try your best to take as many breaks as you can! This seems like the best advice I can give!

Same with Australia. Apparently aus had incredibly high standards re cribs and car seats. They banned the ones that swivel around at the base too.

Some are from Target and some from Old Navy!
Tula carriers are my recommendation
Never heard of it!! Will look into it!
@@AngiesTable Great. We have used them for both of our boys and will for our third. They are proven to support the baby, put the baby's body in a good position, and feel secure.
Do any of these products (within reason) come in adult sizes?
I dont believe so!
will the donna fit in a mini copper?
Yes!! It should!
Thanks for the great tips ❤️ Love from a first time mom
Thanks for watching 🫶🫶🫶
Which accessories you needed for Doona?
It’s mostly up to you, but I had the sun shade and the diaper bag!
I checked the prices of these items, and damn they are really pricey. TBH I really can't justify such spending personally even though I can afford it. I'm finding second-hand market much more cost-efficient and just as good, specially considering that kids grow out of these things so fast.
Yes! Some of these items are one of the pricier ones. There’s nothing wrong with second hand market and alternatives to the items listed here too!!
How soon will baby outgrow the doona?
Once the baby is 35 lbs or 33 inches!
I wish the doona was taller. My husband and I are so tall. There are so few options for tall parents. We would be hunching with the doona 😂
Yesss!!! This is so true!!!
One of the downsides to the Doona 😭
Check out the evenflo Shyft dualride! My fiance is 6 ft and we received one as a gift that he has no problems with!
So you walk around with rooms everywhere then those wheels goes onto the car seat ?
It’s the bottom of the car seat, not on!
Thank you for sharing !
Thank you for watching!! 😍
Very helpful. Thank you ❤
Yay!! Love hearing this! Glad it was helpful :)
Love this ❤

I will have my second in several months… So😂 I know you actually don’t need all of that, but iron nerve.
People’s needs/wants will differ based on their situation and preferences, please keep that in mind :) This is just my recommendation and thoughts!
Hallo, what is the name of the bag you would have preferred?

Post partum essentials pls!!
Thank you
Thank you for watching 🫶🫶

네~ 언제든지요!
So you are rich rich
Consider it as product type reccomendations vs brand specific and you may still get ideas out of this video vs focusing on cost.
Did you use the dog pee pads or did you buy ones for babies? I think they end up being the same thing 😂
Hahahaha the dog ones! 😛
I agree, it’s all for the same purpose!
I would choose incontinence pads as they are made from safer, medical grade material. Dog pee pads have certain chemicals within them that I’m not 100% on board with
this is what happens when you buy expensive over priced things just because it's trendy rather than research correctly priced brands and items
Doona is too expensive
I wanted the Doona but the crash reports are not good and it is banned in Canada for this reason. This changed my mind.
The Doona also meets federal safety standards and its materials are tested and approved to comply with CPSIA and CPSC regulations.
hey even in other buggies the baby shouldn't lay down for over two hours. now the doona x has this multiple settings for laying.
The doona stroller is hyped up too much. It doesn't have under carriage storage, or bottle holders and you cannot utilize it as they grow. Such a waste of money. I'm glad I didn't become a sheep and but it! So many better options available that make sense.
@@ammanistar9564would you mind sharing the names of these?
Shut up you’re not any type of expert. You’re repeating shit your read on the internet. Worry about yourself.
Same, I’m getting a bassinet one instead
TIL!
Thank you for your recommendations. May I ask where the where your wicker basket is from?
It’s from Serena and Lily!
This was very helpful! Thanks!
