    I really enjoyed this class. I hurt my leg a few days ago (not sure how), and try to find some practices that will help and not aggravate the issue. This class was easy to do and felt good!🙏

    Oh, Maris, thank you! As someone who is disabled, older, and wayyyy out of shape, there’s not a lot I can do at this point. This is a wonderful way to get some movement back into my daily life. I’ve been doing a couple of your seated routines for about a week now (I have to modify a couple poses, but I can do most of it), and I already feel better. I’m less achy, more relaxed-every muscle was so tight, and slooowly, I feel like I’m getting just a little more flexible. Will be doing this every day! Thank you!

    This is the second video of yours I have done. For me it's the perfect balance between movement and breath and has me easily connecting to a place that always grounds me. As someone who has Chronic Fatigue syndrome it's not easy to find yoga that restores me but your videos do. Thank you, love them xx

    Just adding a couple more thoughts after reading Mary's comment below. I'm 53 and agree with more yoga for older yoga crowd. I do miss practicing my planks and downward dogs that always kept my arms in shape. So maybe something for the upper body without compromising the eyes! Again, thank you!

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a playlist of wrist-free yoga classes that avoid Downward Dog and Planks. You can see it here: th-cam.com/play/PLCt_FzY6JsJ6eBRNZf1v9yBvXIlC8WSLJ.html - These will have Forward Folds which you can skip by coming straight up to Mountain Pose. You can also do the classes with a light dumbbell on each hand if you want to work the arms without Downward Dogs and Planks. Thanks!

    I'm new to your channel and was happy to find something without a lot of the inverted poses which I am supposed to avoid due to retinal eye issues. I can modify the little bit of cat cow and can do most of the other poses safely. The pace you've set is neither too fast or too slow, just right and I think it's great that you don't rush the end by extending the music. Well done! It would be great if you could add a few more routines that are safe for patients with eye issues. Apparently, down dog, standing forward bends and childs poses or anything where the eye encounters gravity is to be avoided. Thank you!

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kathryn! Thank you for practicing with my video and sharing your feedback. I'm not trained to teach yoga for special conditions such as eye issues. I do, however, have a lot of videos on this channel that might suit your needs. If you go to the main channel page, you will see that all the videos are organized into sections and playlists. You can try the "Seated Poses Only" classes (to avoid Downward Dog and Standing Forward Fold) or any of the Gentle Yoga classes. Hope this helps.

    Love your yoga video/classes. Thank you. Great classes, with varied energy levels and great cues - deep and relaxing to put you in a flow a state yet not too much talking about random things like in many videos (with really great teachers) but take me out of my flow... you the best 🌹

It's a way for people to support the free yoga that I provide, at the same time, receive rewards and other perks (for example, an extra and exclusive yoga video every month). Hi Maris, loved this routine, ideal for when I'm feeling less energetic. I would like to ask you if you would ever consider doing any routines geared for the over sixties. As I have aged my balance isn't as good, also I do have problems with my elbows occasionally... yet I still want to work my upper body strongly, this sometimes isn't always possible when I can't do downward dog etc. Thank you for all your hard work in producing your wonderful yoga video's.

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Mary Phillips Hi Mary, thanks for trying it out. Whenever you need to avoid putting weight on the elbows or arms, you can practice some of my "wrist-free/hands-free" yoga flow classes (no downward dog and plank). I didn't undergo any yoga training that's geared specifically towards the over sixties group but I know other teachers that can help me with that. Let me consult with some colleagues and perhaps we can put something together for the channel. :)

      Thank you Maris, I'll try the wrist free routines, and look forward to any new vids you may do for the more mature person.
