Just some old footage from the Prototype Preservation days. Most of you have probably already seen this but I wanted it to be on this channel as well.
Do you know what I’ve just realised, some maps you’re probably thinking why some have sounds of running and failing and others don’t, I think this because they have to decide what the ground will be made out of in certain areas when textured for different footstep sounds, so like mud, gravel ext, so when you run on parts of the map with mud that node called mud plays that audio file, very interesting ahha kinda neat!!
I love this stuff. I absolutely love it. Maybe I am weird but it is so interesting
Honestly glad to see stuff like these preserved, it's a look back to the development of what was being done to make the game amazing upon release!
if you're able to, you should also show off the zombies side of the pre alpha build. I know so many zombies players would love to know what Tranzit especially would have been like in it's early stages
No working build of a functionable zombies in bo2 has EVER been found. Thats why you only see screen shots. Cuz they're taken from the game files.

those were from the game files? thats interesting, i remember someone on the plutonium forums claiming to own a leaked build that included mob of the dead which he uploaded screenshots for
@@infrarain the screenshots of motd were from leaked screenshots att activision and treyarch
@@infrarain also its almost impossible to use a build of dlc unless you use a dev console and load it with /map zm_prison, which is almost impossible to get ahold with after the full game came out since only developers had it and you need verification to get the console. This is the case for mw3, bo2 and ghosts
At this point Riley will just reupload all the videos here from Prototype Preservation.

Love seeing stuff like this. BO2 is one of my favourite games ever and its so cool to see what the maps look like in pre-alpha. How do you even play these builds? Do you need a 360 dev kit or can this be done on an RGH/JTag?

If i remember correctly the mercs had a different announcer, will you be able to upload a video playing sound files of the beta mercs announcer? 🤔
6:03 this is an outlandish request but can anyone hook me up with the textures for this viewmodel? I've seen these gloves in old trailers and gameplay videos, never in anything recent. I have wanted to examine it myself for quite some time. In the game files, i can't find them in first person, but strangely, there is a texture for them in 3rd person

There's no leaked build with playable zombies but there is some leaked screenshots of alpha versions of BO2 zombies including some of the dlc maps like some cut parts on buried cut tower and a cut extra room on the spawn room platform semtexleaks recently posted those buried screenshots
