It was simply the team learning the engine, they just went on to split into ghosts and (apparently) infinite warfare.
This is something I would definitely pre-order
So the entire stage is basically Rebirth
This on Veteran would've been *mind-numbing*
3:43 A classic halo 2 moment, they paid attention somewhere 😏
"343" well that's eerily well timed
@@cburn-YTthere is definitely a god lol
kinda got more of the "boarding the pillar of autumn" vibe from Halo CE
Classic Halo: Combat Evolved* moment, looks like someone forget to pay attention
“Field of fire on that bulkhead”
THANKS FOR POSTING WITHOUT TALKING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE VIDEO LIKE ALL THE OTHERS DO
Thanks for hosting this. You da real MVP.
If only the titans of the 2000s never went bad. Imagine Call of Duty, Gears of War, Halo, Mass Effect, etc had all maintained quality development. Imagine if the industry had stayed good. Imagine if the world had.
This is how I envisioned the game was suppose to be when they said Future Warfare at the time. The whole exo/nano suits they did on the other sci fi games were too ahead of their period to be a future warfare kind of game.
Crazy so much work went into this game and it never was released or finished. It's different enough that if they did not want to make it a COD game, it could have been something entirely on it's own. I like how it's some where between Advance Warfare and Infinite Warfare. I would have definitely have at least tried this out if it had been released.
Makes you wonder how many games never get to see the light of day
This is insane. Thanks for sharing 👍
it’s got the star wars republic commando meets cod vibe that i didn’t know i needed.
Let's push Activision to finish and release this as a free bonus with the next installment of the game, just a few missions would be enough
"Remember; no Martian..."
I doubt they’d do that, tbh. They’re not one to release cancelled games.
It's too old
@@AK_AVFC never old for a free bonus, "concept"
You'll pay $40 for this singular mission and you'll LIKE IT. Guns will be available in multiplayer too so all your friends will know your a space cowboy 🤠
Future Warfare: Moonfall DLC $39.99
Anyone else notice the mission labeled Operation Deadbolt? Same name for cod zombies in MWIII.
Both effectively cancelled
Undeniably would've been one of the best COD games of all time.
Creative, too. It would still be boots-on-the-ground without being titanfall. The midway point between ghosts and advanced.
@@Idkwhattoputhere5123so like bo2 but little more future
@@funny-gv3ml yeah.
Settle down
Why? He’s right😭 this totally would’ve been insane at the time
It would probably be hated by the cod fanbase because it actually tries something new
That’s what cod 4 did.
@@Idkwhattoputhere5123Nah that’s what cod ghosts did and the fans hated it. I can definitely say that this game will be hated just as much.
@SpokeNyan1390 every game up to cod 4 was a ww2 game. Cod 4 was the first game in the series to go into modern times, and it was loved.
@@Idkwhattoputhere5123 Yeah but I’m talking about cod ghosts and how it was hated because it tries something new.
@SpokeNyan1390 It was hated because it added stuff that weren't liked (Such as leveloution, a feature taken from battlefield)
what could have been, i still come back from time to time to see this video
This game looks and plays better than 2023 MWIII and 2021’s Vanguard it’s a shame this game never came to be because it honestly would’ve been way better than what we ended up with
This one mission is still better than the latest MW3 campaign 💀
It’s literally the same gameplay, like all cod games.
Yes@@matthewwilliams3827
But it's way more in depth, more action, less talk and no corny dramatism, NX1, is what we should have been given
@@FirstNameThirdName-gj3wm Get lost kiddo
All these pepole in the comments talking about how disappointed they were that they never made this when this would've been completely hated by the cod community if it got announced similar to how infinite warfare did for being more futuristic
Correct.
No because Infinite warfare was announced in 2016 after franchise fatigue set in, and this likely would have released after black ops 2 instead of ghosts, or maybe even before ghosts, which was when people would have really wanted a futuristic cod game.
This was in 2011, it would literally be appreciated if actually finished
Fun facts. my speech is longer then this years call of duty campaign
Looks so old, yet so new
This looks like it would have been a good game and they got pretty far to waste the money and time already put into it what a shame
Release the unfinished product. We want to try this!
Would still be more finished than MW3
Not likely.
@@Idkwhattoputhere5123 Your mother
LET'S GOOOOO
So this is where the groundwork for futuristic cod sprouted (specifically ghosts and aw, maybe even iw). I'm curious what would've the franchise looked like if the devs decided to stop yearly releases and give titles like ghost a chance even with the bad receptions
В наше время такие игры Активижн уже не выпускает. Одна треярч старается чтото сделать и показать, остальные студии работают на маркетинг.
Treyarch и Raven.
DUDE I NEED TO PLAY THIS IT LOOKS OUTSTANDING!
This is the cod game I always dreamed of when I was a kid
And we dont care about you being kid. Get LOST
this is genuinely so cool. no idea why this got cut
Wtf we're they thinking man this looks way better than ghosts
This was basically ghosts, many of the assets were reused.
I still remember the first time i played the cod ghosts space mission and wanting a full game of it
Damn I would’ve loved this as a kid. Looks actually pretty cool.
HOLY MOLY WHAT OH GOD
dude this wouldve made my childhood better
It baffles me that Activision cancelled this and we got Ghosts instead. This could've been amazing.
Wtf???? This is fantastic!!!
Looks better than the last 4 years of COD
More like the last 10 years lol
Oh daaaammm
@@Bladez1992You dare make fun of my BO3 McDonald's zombies map experience?
The new modern warfare was very promising, but Activision decided to derail MWII and MWIII
Looks like the Modern Warfare 2 codebase adapted with space theme, running on a Xbox 360 build (code-name: xenon). Very interesting stuff right here. I miss this OG COD games.
Truly incredible how noisy the vaccuum of space is :)
The game is way Better than MW3’s Campaign
Of course you would say that now. But you won't say this if it was 2010s. Because I still clearly remember all the hate for Infinite Warfare when it was first released due they said... too HALO-ish.
@@ak47tohI think he mean about mw 3 2023. MW 3 2011 have good campaign
@@erkenaralov9502 I know he's referring to MW2023. I agree it sucks. But that's the result when Activision ran out of ideas and it degenerated into the quality we had today.
It still doesn't change the fact there was huge criticism on Ghosts and IW when it was first released. Go check out the old forums and you'll see what I mean.
@@ak47tohYes I’m referring to MW3 2023’s Campaign
@@ak47toh they killed soap that's why it sucked
Looks still better than scam war 3
Ah, what could've been...
A cod game where each map is dictated by the host Planet's gravuty would be amazing.
Imagine animating an entire set peace and then having it caned by some studio exact.
Imagine if they had made a futuristic Warfare game set within the same universe as the Modern Warfare trilogy instead of making two Black Ops 3 spin-offs that had nothing to do with the overall Call of Duty timeline
Wdym by bo3 spin-offs?
Do all the other missions work or is this the only one that does?
RIGGS NOOOOO
Pretty dope. I actually enjoy the rifle design with offset sight. Makes me wonder if this cod would've had questionable designs like Starfield.
This unreleased game got me more hyped up than the past 4 Call of Duty games combined.
I feel like this game would have taken place in like 2024 - 2030, it would have probably connected MW OG series to Ghosts, or a prequel to Ghosts and involving the Federation in some way, it wouldve been so cool to see this game released.
this is remarkably well polished for a cancelled game, holy crap!
I can definitly tell what was recycled for ghosts and infinite warfare from this.
So that's where the COD13 spaceport mission came from.
No sweats slide cancelling and aim botting around
Is that soundtrack from the movie Unstoppable?
Our character have the US flag on the suit. While enemy have red flag and something yellow on top left.
It might be soviet. This is timeline that they didn't collapse.
Or China.
id do anything to be in the timeline where this launched
Do you think you could upload visiting hours gameplay if there is any?
This looks awesome! I really miss neversoft
Daamn, this is epic. What a pity...
Feels like a prequel to Doom, I was expecting demons to teleport in anytime.
THIS LOOKS AMAZING WHY WOULD THEY CANCEL IT AAAAH
so much better than MW III
Would be dope if this dropped in multiplayer went live for it
Love how people think this looks awesome and that this would be the best cod but if roles were reversed and this actually came out while footage of Ghosts got leaked everyone would hate on this and wish Ghosts came out instead.
Tony Hawk of Duty
This should be cod 2013-2014
so 🚀...
we just need build leak🛰️ 🌌👩🚀
asap
So that's why there was a zombies map on the moon
This must’ve been what eventually became Infinite Warfare
No. This one foreshadows Ghosts (and later on Advanced Warfare) since Neversoft makes this cancelled project and the 2 COD series. Infinite Warfare took inspiration from Ghosts and AW when space conflict slowly became an acceptable gameplay for COD fanbase.
@@ak47tohyeah but infinite warfare is the one closely resembles this game. there’s a very good chance the devs at IW used NX1 for some reference
@@gavcom4060 Neversoft is not involved in Infinite Warfare. I agree it resembles a lot with this but credit still goes to Ghosts which is the first to introduce the space warfare concept, taking a lot of stuffs from here.
Put simply: Without Ghosts or AW, there'll be no IW either.
В какой-то параллельной вселенной, эта игра вышла и людям понравилось
В параллельной вселенной эта игра вышла вместо ghosts и получила высокие оценки от игроков и стала в один ряд с трилогией modern warfare
ghosts over this???
THANKS 🎉🎉🎉
That sight looks cool.
Now this is what you called a COD
This feels like it was turned into ghosts
This has a nostalgic MW3 feeling mixed with IW.
