The HUD looks awesome, but I understand why they changed it. It’s not visible when the map is too bright and having it slanted makes it not user friendly. This is cool!
What you see in the footage that's a 54 immortal soldier. Even the helmet is from their signature gear. The final version of the menu guy wears Winslow Accord Cyber Soldier augmentations and gear that Hendricks use in the campaign while wearing a 54i helmet.
XR-2 being full auto... Treyarch really likes making full auto weapons burst and vice versa. In BO2 pre alpha footage the vector was burst and chiqom full auto.
Honesty, as a big fan of BO3, this doesn't look all that different. The main changes were the lighting, sound effects and UI. Everything else from the animations to the movement are pretty similar to what we got in the final product.
When they start making a new game they merge the old game file with the game they are going to make like bo2 & bo3 then they develop the game and they need to confirm what old files they will delete, but this game is under development thats why no old file for bo2 is deleted

Wow really interesting stuff. It's Alpha enough where many aspects are VERY different, like the hud, attachment options, weapon functionality and using generic soldiers over Specialists, but the maps and functionality is also really polished and 90% of the way there.
i like how there was a lot of dark spots on the map, indoor gunfights feel chaotic due to the main light source coming from your own gun. no wonder xr2 feels so strange, wasn't meant to be burst to begin with. as for why they didn't keep executions, no clue. that badass soldier from the main menu and some campaign segments should have been a specialist.

The idea of muzzle flash lighting up the enviroment is freaking sick. However, I can understand why they didn't implement it in the final game, since it looks like it slowed down the FPS considerably.
BO 3 perfected the advanced movement what a game! Specialists were also very fun,and lets not forget zombies, which was probably the best iteration we ever got.
Same voice lines and player models as b02. This wouldn’t have been so bad although the specialists in this game were kind of cool. I locked the robot abd the pyro’s intro cutscenes
I hope the next black ops game is a current gen game as in not available on xbox one and ps4 but only available on xobx series x/s , PS5 and PC via Steam only so the pc version will be exclusive to Steam.

Looks like there's no specialists yet in this build atleast by looking at the hud so maybe that's why it got changed, to fit the specialist meter in

The xbox 360/PS3 version was a rushed and butchered port with only 8-6 months of development.
