I just found your channel, Glad I find it ,because I wanted some recipes for my mini grill I really appreciate you showing us the bone and the wing meat so we know how it will turn out. Plus the end result of both Machines.
If I had to make a judgement call, I would say it was the griddle for the win. I think the grill would be best for flat items. I am hoping to go tomorrow after work to look for a grill at my local Home Goods or TJ Maxx. I have seen Dash at both.
I happened to end up with a package of thick bacon slices yesterday. I cut two slices in half and parboiled them in the rice cooker. I then dropped them on the Dash mini griddle for about five minutes. They cooked through so much better than a frypan. The griddle had a fair amount of rendering, just as your chicken produced. I used a meat thermometer, and the temp came quickly up to 165 deg. Turned out just right, and I didn't have grease all over, either.
I'm trying to make up my mind which one of these will be the most useful for me in my van 😂💜 I already have the little hard boiled egg cooker that I love!
I've watched several comparisons of these two and so far I've not seen anything that the grill did as well as the griddle. I only have the mini waffle maker and I'm enjoying using it.
@@ambitiousbeauty1013 Do you ask the hotel if you are allowed to cook in the room or is it just something that we can do because it’s not an open flame?? I’m not sure what to do
I haven't tried wings, but made a small burger in the griddle last night. Nice char and crisp you don't get from a pan. The dog approved. The grill I'd use more if I wanted the marks or for veggies. Some big slices of zuchinni or eggplant perhaps.
@@CounterCooking use parchment paper cut in circles. Put parchment down then cookie dough. Cook to your liking then use tongs to pull the parchment paper with cookie on it to a plate. Allow cookie to cool and peel off the paper. The paper can be reused to make another. I usually cut two circles so I can make two cookies back to back.
People can season them however they want to since everyone has different tastes. This video merely illustrates the fact that they can be cooked using these appliances.
Fun! I love these experiments. It’s like the adult version of kid kitchen appliances. I have the trio mini set from yes chef.
Girl I really have me blown with all of the different ideas thank you hon❤❤❤
👍😁
I'm shocked these cooked in only 10 mins. I was convinced you'd have bloody wings. I'm going to try this soon.

I would cook them in the microwave for two minutes before dropping them on the grills.
Just my opinion but they look great.
You can’t do that when you don’t have a microwave. And there are people like myself who don’t and won’t use them because of the way they cook.

Thanks for the video I use my dash for travel even with my car low watts I like to add a camp pot set on top to boil water too 😊 keep up the good work
I tried to boil water on this with a camp pot also and it took quite a long time. I use the Dash Mini Rice Cooker for that. It's only 200 watts. :).
Nice video! I see that the Dash Mini Maker Grills are sold out just about everywhere right now except available directly from Dash.
I’ve cooked chicken tenders with seasoning & Orange chicken sauce. I had ate them with frozen broccoli on the grill.
Sounds good.

Great presentation!

I would use a thermometer for health reasons when cooking the chicken wings!
Lemon pepper please.
So these are mini George Forman grills per sè
yes, kind of. not slanted like those were with a drip tray.
No they called the dash mini grills
Really..!!??
Looks like both did a great job 👍🏻
glad to see these videos!! i needed to find a way to save money at our disney trip next year and with these we can definitely cook in the room!!
Yes. I've used small appliances like these to cook in hotel rooms many times. :)
When I travel I take my crockpot, griddle and rice cooker. I also make some of our meals at our hotel to save money.

Don't ask... Don't tell...

Is there an issue with the grease catching fire? 😮
I've never had any issues with it.
@@CounterCooking thank you
How were they to clean?
easy
WoW! Where do you get these vegan wings? Brand?
They are regular chicken wings
@@CounterCooking thank you!
I tried nestles tollhouse pre made refrigerated cookies on the grill… what a mushy mess.. any tips?
Yes. I agree. Every time I've tried refrigerated cookies they have been a mushy mess. I haven't had any cookie success yet.
@@CounterCooking ha! Thanks ! Makes me feel better !

No seasoning or anything. Wow.
