I’d cut it in half and put filling inside and cheese on the outside like you did there. That would be good.

Goodwill staples price tags right through fabric that then causes a run! Why?

@@srad-oq7cb I was hoping that someone from goodwill watches my video and takes advice from it.😁 Thanks for watching.. I really appreciate it 👍

use Hawaiian sweet biscuits. I put chicken ala king on the biscuit waffles. Separate the biscuits in half a full biscuit is a bit much for the little waffle maker. Also I make the waffle biscuits and put egg and cheese on them. Makes a great morning sandwich.

I saw these on one of the home shopping networks and it's a lot smaller than I remember but you guys definitely got it at a good price!

Goo gone works great to get the sticky residue off when you remove a tag. I used to buy it at the dollar store but I don't know if they still carry it. You might try olive oil or a touch of WD-40.

Alcohol will work also, soak it well with a terry cloth and rub off.

I found using biscuits in the waffle maker is helped by holding the top down a little bit. I use a pair of silicone tongs to do it. Also spraying after heated is best. There’s also not a need to spray every time.

I might try rolling them out a bit and they may cook more completely and more like a waffle. Just a thought.

When iI do these, I like to remove them at the center being doughy stage, and let them cool and split em, flip em so the outside is now the inside and put PB&J on the dimples made by the waffle maker and sandwich them and put smooth ones outside and re-cook them. They work better with PB&J, I think, but have never done butter on these at all, cos they already have a lot of buttery taste. More time means the ouside will over cook/burn. These are too thick to waffle iron IMHO. But splitting them and PB&J keeps the thing from over cooking at the same time making the thing thinner and cook faster.

The reason why they put the price tags on the body of the product is because people will rip the price tag off to get the item cheaper when it's already cheap as it is. I even seen some people that grab the item and purposely rip the cord off and put the cord in her pocket and they bring it over to the cash and they say this has no power cord can have it for free

TIP..I LOVE THIS BUT…if you forget to spray… buy a NEW TOOTHBRUSH ……brush out crumbs.👍

I think the REGULAR SIZE canned biscuits (not the Grands) would cook better. You would need to flatten them out a bit with your hands so they would cover the entire waffled area of the waffle maker. This thinner biscuit would fit better and not bulge out on the sides.

On Prime day, Amazon sent me two of these but I never ordered them. Amazon refused to cancel the order.
I've never opened them. They might be good for something.

Why not half the biscuit and then flatten out the half so it's thinner than the first one. See if that works.

Thieves will rip off the price tag to switch it. A sticker makes it much harder to steal from Goodwill (yes, people will steal from Goodwill.)

I know this is an older video but a helpful tip to remove stickers is to rub some peanut butter on it, let it sit for several minutes and then simply rub it off. Works like a charm.

That little waffle maker looked like it had never been used. Never heard of using Grands to make waffles before -- now I know! And I thought for sure that you were going to end up with a cheesy mess! Hey, I hope you are safe where you live and far away from all the txins in the air, etc. Take care!

@71filter - Well, it wasn't the dash brand name, maybe that will make a difference. I just ordered the waffle one from Dash, as well as the griddle surface..we'll see. Maybe it's "user error"? Who knows..but I will tell you, your review of the Coleman 4in 1 is looking like I'm going to order it on Friday..that does look SWEET

    • @71filter
