You're correct about texture being a key 🔑 consideration for which Dash Mini Maker you would choose for whatever food you're cooking. I own 12 Mini Makers. ❤love them all...and use them regularly as part of my weekly cooking options. Perfect size for the Freezer too.
Try using a damp paper towel. Ring out access water. Place on waffle maker (when you finish cooking), close lid wait till it cools down. Clean up should be easy.
Loved your video. One of my fave things is to use both. Make 2 waffles and then fry an egg. I like to add baby spinach and cheese topped with ham. Then make a breakfast sandwich. So yummy 😋.
Thank you for making some non-keto recipes! My mini waffle maker should arrive tomorrow and I was beginning to think there was some law that you must make eggy keto recipes.
Enjoyed your video. These little minis maker's are cool Suggestion: Try Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian can biscuits & their canned Cornbread muffins. Thanks! ;)
I've used my waffle maker for almost a month, with the intention of snacking. Yesterday I added a little chocolate cake mix to the pancake mix. Great results. I also tried out pizza dough from mix. And, oh yes, made waffles from one of those inexpensive packets of banana nut bread, to which you just add water. Again, great results. My new Dash mini griddle and mini bundt maker came last week and I have yet to use them.
I have several DASH appliances, including a couple mini waffle makers But I just recently bought a griddle and mini bundt cake maker, at Aldi which came out with dupes of the Dash mini makers, for only 7.99. So excited to try them out.
Spent yesterday testing the flat griddle powered by my 500w solar system in my off-grid cabin (10'x16')...breakfast sausage, egg, toast, then later that evening, calf liver
@@mattandjenntrytheworld1851 Perfect! Ive got six Dash minis now and just ordered the 4 egg bites that will also do grilled square sandwiches. They are so much fun off-grid with solar and it's fun to experiment. The calf liver was very lightly breaded with almond flour and seasoning and I put some ghee in first, melted it, put down my liver, and immediately flipped it to get the ghee on both sides. It was done quickly and so good. Next time I'll do onions first
i just came across your channel and got new ideas. i have the waffel one as that was what they had at the beginning. i love it and love the crispiness. i stopped spraying mine as they dont stick and less messy.
Isprz them with oil once and that’s it everything I’ll comes off right away and very easy to clean it without so that grease!! I have 2 waffle makers to spread things up.

Yes, and No... sitting down yes. But there is zero ON/OFF Switch for the Dash Mini Makers. The ONLY way to turn it ON is to plug it IN or Unplug it to turn it OFF. The Frail, Elderly, or Impaired might be likely to forget to Unplug it or can become easily distracted and forget about it. In either case, that's a fire Hazzard waiting to happen simply through User Error. I own 12 Dash Mini Makers and ❤love them but being Elderly in my own years I'm mindful about when and where to use them wisely. Earlier this evening I made 10 Tuna Patties 😋 😋 using the grill plates of my Dash Egg Bites Maker. Enjoyed 1 for dinner 🍽 and Refrigerated the other ones for lunchtime sandwiches later in the week.
I love rice and I use my griddle maker and it always comes out perfect. I also make muffins on griddle maker. It looks just like your griddle maker my has a small pot.
I add a muffin mix in with my pancake mix to add a little sweetness to my kiddo’s waffles since we don’t use syrup on them. Or add some coconut to the pancake mix. Makes excellent little waffles. I was looking at biscuit mix yesterday. Didn’t buy but want to try it. I want to try cinnamon roll type dough in there.
I did orange danish on the griddle..take the rolled dough by slice then cut in half.. then smush out by hand to fit the grill. Cause it will rise..pretty cool to spread the icing atop....gonna try cinamon roll mix. ..im sure thats more to still try but very fun.....enjoy
No reason to pay full price for these. I find both at thrift stores and yard sales all the time. I only bought the griddle but I think I will pick up the waffle maker as well. I'm keto and I eat one HUGE duck egg mixed with a heaping Tb of cottage cheese every morning. I add whatever else sounds good for seasoning. It's so much better than just a fried egg. Light and fluffy!
Roll out the biscuit, put in a piece of banana and nutella for a sweet treat. I've also done bacon and meat/burger on the griddle but now I'm curious about waffle maker burger.
I just got a regular mini waffle maker. Mine is purple. It was $10 at Target. They also had red, and blue colors. I also seen other dash products there when I got mine. They had the mini waffle maker with the heart shaped plate for Valentine’s Day, hard boiled egg maker, portable blenders, and a sandwich maker. The portable blender, boiled egg cooker and sandwich maker were more expensive than the mini waffle makers. A friend recommended two mini waffle cookbooks to me I got one of them from Amazon that hasn’t came in the mail yet. I can’t wait to try making more things with mine.
First time watching your channel. I hope you let the woman talk more in other videos. I felt sorry for her. Also, please let her make her own food. You looked like you are controlling over her.
I own all the 8inch Dash products and the 8inch griddle is the best all-around for one person.

Sounds delish!

I was blessed to find my mini wafflemaker for only $2 at the local thrift shop, new in the box.

my mini griddle was just delivered yesterday, so thanx for this really good effort. Can't wait to start playing with the griddle.
It was fun watching you guys!
Thanks for watching!

You will have to try monkey bread in the dash mini Bundt maker

Would be good for older people for easy cooking, they could do this while setting down.

How do you use rice in the mini?
I’m ready to make hash browns and monkey bread on one! Thanks for the idea.
You seem to forget that the waffle one is started several seconds or more than the griddle one, so they really take. The same time to cook

you need melted butter for dip for the cinnamon pieces
Awe, look at you two trying to make it in the world. Adorable
I go to thrift stores every day and have only found a dash egg cooker..pretty well worn.so not always at thrift stores unfortunately

Jenn would have loved a purple one! Enjoy!
I use a spray bottle of water to cleaning it.
I bought nostalgia brand griddle and a heart shaped waffle maker for $5.00 each maybe i will cook a little longer.
I have both griddle brands, I think the Nostalgia takes a little longer to heat up. Good for grilled cheese.
BOOP!... I hope there's no lecithin in that cooking spray you're using.. otherwise you're looking for trouble down the road!
I just use a little butter. Works great No sprays.
Plain toast or French toast on the griddle
I’m glad that I found your video because I meant to order a waffle maker and I accidentally ordered a griddle. 😝
we loved the griddle too!
Same happened to me! Ugh
Fried egg: one minute and 20 seconds in the mini dash is a fully cooked egg with a soft yolk
I use the mini griddle everyday. One egg, cut up ham
and shredded cheese.
Sounds tasty!
I bet chicken nuggets with tomato sauce with a croisamt doigh can make chicken parmasean
It is so over cooked it can’t have any taste, use mine everyday and love it.
Hash browns are great,
