That GS 400 (1998) had so much torque that even when driving uphill through the West Virginia mountains it felt like you were rolling downhill! I’ve never had that feeling with a car before or since. I sold it to the first buyer, and was ridiculed for letting it go so cheap by the next 3 callers

Agree. I used to like the Lx600 but after I heard that have twin turbo engine and have problems then I switched to lx570. Better reliability and better interior than a Lx600
I just purchased a 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio with 14k miles. I know you go back and forth on those, but it feels so capable and solid. I left Mercedes for something a little more rare and i love it. Im very precise on upkeep so im hoping for at least 7-8 years out of it

My BMW 2017 530 is good for two years outside warranty. I am now experiencing mega issues and the coolant leak problems are forever and costly to repair. I highly recommend the Lexus or Toyota Avalon
What are the "mega" inssues? You lose coolant you diagnose it. Either oil filter housing or hose under intake or similar. At the shop that knows what they are doing will cost no more than 1000 to change whole bunch of hoses . Btw just go to the car care nut channel. He is an exclusively Toyota technician. Toyota does have water pumps going out. Toyota does have problems with cylinder scoring Toyota v6 is extremely allergic to running out of oil and loosing coolant. But those issues are not common and there us big chance you will never encounter them

I love the GLA and CLA 250 with the double clutch gearbox and sporty handling. Quality is typical Benz, both good and not so good but as a simpler model, there is less to fail. The ride is a bit harsh and unrefined but it’s a fun little vehicle that offers the practicality of a small SUV

Canada doesn't also get the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty from Hyundai, and Kia? That's the only reason I would buy one. If it wasn't for that long warranty I wouldn't feel safe owing one.
Yes one of the better cars in the current BmW lineup as the newest turbo6 is solid and the 5 series is a nice car. Cheaper car likely to own long term could be the 2,3,4 series with the same engine

Nope: narrowed it down to one word RELIABLE....so I set out to get a "Daily" that would Not use the ICE...would be "BULLET PROOF as in got 2 B There, i.e Hospital or Very important buss, meeting and NOT even think about it ( piece of mind)! ............Use QUIET elec. next to silent Minimal if ever maintenance by not running the ICE...Regenerative brakes to help slow down and almost zero wear on brakes.... Alas only one naturally aspirated & Hybrid /elec vehicle fits this and it is Sporty fun to drive The * LEXUS* 450h+ "F" Sport....& never look back! IMO
