I think with all this fancy armor they should add an proper Armor Stand so that you can have a proper display for it - and maybe upon clicking it, it would switch the entire armor? Just an idea :D

@miamicenter12 it could definitely be modded and added, it'd require a lot of custom assets I'd say.. someone decent in unity to make it.

You can goto the house at Carl's corn, break open the door on the right and then go in and on the right is the chamber for the super corn, there will be a grown stalk of super corn and a box behind it with 10 super seeds and the recipe unlock for the super seeds. Beyond that, yes some living off the land and farmer armor would help make sure you never run out

The new armor system makes it possible to specialize in one tree skill and still be "good enough" in other things:
you want to mine a bit and not invest too much in strength? grab a miner suit, want to get better loot or salvage without too many points in perception? grab the scavenger suit etc.
Also, you should try the full assassin armor to get the better sneak speed bonus, when you have a high-level set plus some points in stealth perks, you can trigger a trap room full of zombies, retreat a bit and they all lose sight of you and just forget you are there, then just kill them all using a bow in sneak mode
yah the preacher gloves are good but for a stealth build the set bonus from assassin is way better even before the t6 bonus, even if you wake them up just hop around a corner for a few seconds and you can chain sneak attack rads till they are dead.
JEN TO THE RESCUE! That is what I think they need to add.. traders showing up at missions to either help or interact with you.. would add soo much flavor to questing

Every Infested I've done so far has been a near disaster. Just bunches of Ferals and Rads blitzing me like they were the '85 Bears Defense. I get hit so hard I'm blowing snot bubbles.

21:25 💯 a GREAT idea. Hit the button with an arrow would open the door. Amazing. They really should implement this. Makes the bow a bit more useful and another little mechanic for stealth players.

I love how you do the 2nd player cam stuff in your videos, for example the slow spin around during the mining montages. It's a pretty unique thing that really sets your videos apart and makes them extra interesting.

judging from his reactions to things happening, it seems he records audio and video separately and just edits it around.. maybe a few things added in after the fact but zombies interrupting his thoughts and his panic seems genuine so I'm sure he doesn't overdub everything

Get rid of the helmet light mod! It ruins your stealth.
Usually youtubers abd streamers are heavily concerned that we can see clearly, and since there is a lot of people who seem to not know that can increase the brightness of their screens they cry that the video is dark. So sadly for content visibility priority the headlight remains, even during sex

I agree using the flaming arrow would immediately light them on fire paired with the Molotov for extra damage would be OP.
I'm crafting 20 or so on day 5 in my current playthrough. They can be very useful.

The ending for this was well beyond anything I was expecting! Love the storytelling for the series!
I like how the game is seemingly becoming less dependent on “optimal” build paths. Maybe it was always this way and I’m just not very good but it always seemed like Intellect and Strength maxing asap were essential in earlier alphas.
Also how Ironic the POI at the end was named “our best moments” 😂
Yeah that's why now instead of needing strength & sexy rex to reduce stamina use, whatever build you use has a version of it, though you kinda need intelligence now but idk maybe you don't
I've found Sneak almost useless these days. Does literally nothing for hordes, and pretty much every POI has trigger rooms that completely ignore it, usually at the end where it's the hardest fight and you need it most. Hard to put 5 points in each of Bows, Sneak, and Strike just to pull out your guns anyway in basically every POI. Better to go into better weapons from the beginning.

The night vision is sick please keep using it It really works with the stealth build. Love the series you're editing and storylines are the best around. Thank you for your time, effort and the love you absolutely put into your craft.
mining body armor should give stamina regen .. that what oxygen tank for..
As an avid stealth player, I should let you know your head lamp effects your stealth. Might stick to NVG or no light.
I think it would be better for you to stick to night vision, the constant switching is kinda annoying

I was cocky enough to take on a tier 3 police station with a knife and a pipe pistol. Feral wight got me in no time.

tough kill! I died today on day 1 in a level 2 house by a MUTATED ZOMBIE!!! It's always there in the end of that house. LEVEL 2 though! I didn't have to, I just panicked and panicked again.
For some reason the characters hunch over when holding anything. Look at yourself with nothing in your hand and see if he stands up straight. Great vid!
Man.. I hate how TFP just completely ruins stealth with forced encounters in POIs. Why even build stealth if it's not gonna matter where it counts. Game needs less arcade BS

I wouldn't even say you got too greedy, they just keep making the game harder and harder. Which is fine to an extent but the difficulty jump just from the forest to the burnt biome is stupid. Even with an infested clear. Just immediately radiated zombies everywhere while I'm only seeing the occasional feral in the regular forest. And they need to make vehicles faster. I refuse to not use the vehicle tweaks mod because they are so laughably slow in vanilla. Like when you hopped off your minibike I'm sure you assumed you had gained some ground enough to heal but instead it was the equivalent of sprinting like 5 feet. There's things changed that makes things more difficult for realism and then there's changes just for difficulty sake even when they don't make sense. Don't get me wrong, all this complaining is kind of just a nitpick. I still love the game. They just REALLY need to balance it before the stable release. I used to love going to the snow biome relatively soon. While difficult it was manageable. I'm terrified to even look at the snow right now, though, based on how difficult the burnt forest and desert have been. lol

Not sure if you know or not but you can dig the area before you start the quest and it doesn't reset to avoid extra summons.
But not too much, sometimes the chest disappears if you dig too deep. Also the task automatically fails
@sendxnoodles USUALLY the chest will appear right above the rock layer.. usually 3-5 layers down.. you can safely dig the top 2 blocks off pretty safely though
Not sure why you don't want the set bonus from the mining set... tools decaying slower sounds like a good way to save resources.
Sneaks with Night vision = around 15-20 Sneaks with Head Light = 35-45
I know you need the headlamp for recording but in my opinion, your recording is just as good either way but with better stealth.
I would think all the Rads showed up because this building was infested?

My main question, are you playing on an extremely dark monitor / in a bright place? You toggle to flashlight / night vision when, what I can see is perfectly clear and visible on the video?
It just confuses me when you switch over or say you can't see anything when on YT it looks super clear.

Since they got rid of all the other 'armor' slots and stuff to make things easier for console players I guess (?), it would make sense to also add 3 or 4 different armor loadout slots to be able to quickchange to on the fly. Harvesting stuff? Switch to Farmer Loadout. Mining stuff? Switch to Miner Loadout, etc... Maybe they could make us use skill points to open more loadout slots? Idk....just a thought.
it sounds like they changed the sound of the minibike, which I am SO glad for... I typically skipped the minibike and went straight for the motorcycle because I couldn't stand the noise from the minibike, and now that they've stretched everything out... I was not really looking forward to riding around on a bicycle for 20+ days :P

So I have just found out that they have patched the exploit of using the pipe pistol to get the .44 magnum discount perk at traders, you now actually need a .44 magnum to get the discount once you have read the book to get the discount.
So what kind of knife is that? The graphics lean toward an actual flip/lock blade by Gerber or Buck. Looks like an old SERE? model. But IDK.

You'll have to try this at some point when your stealth get's high as it's a lot of fun and morning will seem to come too soon. Sneak into the wasteland at night and toss stones until you get 20+ zombies in a pile. Then chuck some Molotov's on them as they disperse fast. Once you do, they will automatically run to the spot where you threw from. If you sneak fast to a spot about 10+ meters away they will not know where you are as long as they haven't spotted you yet. You can also run fast but then sneak asap. You just have to make sure there are no zombies toward where you are sneaking as they will also run toward the spot where the Molotov was thrown from and find you. So, I clear out behind me with rocks as well and even use the rocks to move all the zombies into one general area before piling them up. Over time I clear all the things that may block my movement such as trees and those metal things so I don't get hung up on them and be found out. This is a lot of fun at night and you can get a lot of XP and loot drops over night. ****EDIT*** Also, sometimes the helmet light mod increases your visibility just enough to wake zombies vs. the night vision goggles which doesn't increase visibility. 28:20 Finally, may want to stealth the weaker zombies first so a cop or biker doesn't wake them all up. Sorry for the vomit post. :) THAT WAS AWESOME at the end!

Why does everyone put chests outside of trader? I use vehicles, benches & barrels inside of the traders for the storage & they’re safe from being destroyed. I really would like a honest answer.

Wood spikes were nurfed for awhile. Zed's would avoid them, walk around them. The z's got nerfed evidently, and run into spikes now. Spikes used to be over powered. You could run away from z's and drop spikes behind you or around you and the z's would run into them. Seems like that is back. The could be used as an offensive weapon.
the watch time keeps going down from 1 hour - 40min - 30min. I really prefer 1 hour now in youtube videos idk why :')
7D2D is now a challenge again. Level 3 infested POI's are even a challenge if you do not g prepared. Excellent .
Well Tem, if you really go stealth I siggest you take some points into fortitude and gunslinger for that 'Oh shit' Machine Gun with silencer...and in perception with dead eye so you have a proper weapon to do stealth kills...with silencer of course.
my buddy azmo fill and I started a server yesterday its now day 13 on pause while they sleep in australia.. i went pretty much 98% intelect ... we got 3 mini bikes on the ground, forge and workstation.. melee horde base i got a lvl 2 stun baton with the rep mod in it.. Az went agility and Fill went jack of all trades... man we dont even have a base.. we buried 15 bloxes 1 block down across the road from Rekt and we went after it all.. haha its a blast so far I am sooo wanting that nerd helm now after seeing you get it. I gotta say though Knives are crazy good

I was just debating with someone about zombie tiers and how quickly you can run into rads. He insisted it was rare to see ferals 60 hours in, I said you can get rads before day 14 if you grind consistently. Guess I was right, sorry it ended up this way though!

Stealth would be 10000% more fun if the game balanced it and there were no trigger doors/rooms/hatches/etc. Makes stealth useless mid - late game in those POI's where almost all rooms are triggers. Good work on this series still though man.
didnt you get more xp, if you build from the pure building block and upgrade all the way , instead of crafting and placing the cabblestone blocks?

I kind of forsaw the problem where you're going to feel like you NEED to bring your sets of armor with you on your trips when you're in single player. And in multiplayer, your friends are going to get annoyed if you aren't wearing the right set of armor for whatever you're doing. That's why I was kind of worried about the whole armor set thing.
Huh. No permadeath kinda means no stakes. So. Not very dramatic, exciting nor interesting. Boo.

I've been curious about this since I found your channel a week ago (and binged several series). How do your cameramen work? Do you have another character logged into the same server, and you set it up before the video starts? How do you get them to circle, or do some of the more cinematic shots?
In my opinion the new armor system sucks, adding effects to armor only adds more micro managing. It’s like Skyrim switching armor for crafting.

a side note. with some parcour use, you can get atop those 2 confessionals at the front of Trader Jen's church, there's some bird nests up there. (and I think a gym bag on the nearest cross beam)

It's good that they've increased the challenge, but the downside is it promotes a lot more cheese strats to survive all the various obstacles, especially in the early to mid-game.
