Your foray into the athletic center and Minotaur theater went a lot better than mine. I use all my ammo in my inventory in each POI and had to finish about half of the zombies in the final areas with melee, while standing on a wall or something. Almost dying multiple times. Keep the chaos and the content coming.👍🏼
I think that Mino is hardest new POI in game, did t6 recently without sneak and it was insane. POI zombies and screamer hordes just bursting on me, ended with every possible debuff in game I could get and burned insane amount of ammo. Grover High is also insane, but you can snack out loot from main stash easily, just break door outside.
Hey, hi! Now in 1.0 you can hold Alt and Click on your inventory to set favorited slots, so they dont get sorted on your inventory, this could be good for ammo and healings =)
That theater hands down is my favorite POI now. I like doing the missions there. It’s tough but also it’s a skill points farm with the elixir and nerdy goggles. Amazing video my friend. 🫡
In my current stealth game on day 40, during the day I wear lvl 6 scavenger outfit (+10 backpack), preacher gloves (+60% damage to undead) and nomad boots (+20% run speed) and usually the rogue hood. Then, I also carry the nerd helmet for reading books, minors outfit for mining (optional) and at night or during a quest swap to a full lvl 6 assassin set and have the book to open all backpack slots. All fully max modded with noise reduction and speed increases, lights, where possible along with water purification mods in all the helmets. Seems to be a great combinations for both day and night and it's so cool to see the 99 (!) % "become hidden" faster. Like you were saying, you can shoot them over and over (espc at night) and they don't even know they are being attacked. I carry them all with me either on my person or motorcycle cause I'm terrible at remembering to bring stuff. Maybe someone knows of a better combination for swapping to and from stealth but so far this has been great.
Could you even TELL that there were more zombies?? Lmao tems quest already looked infested did you see the amount of zombies he had to deal with AFTER clearing a ton out lol(rhetorical) I'm guessing it's like the part that almost killed him, but for every room/section right?
I can't imagine doing these places without stealth now... If I had to kill this many zombies by traditional means (full auto firearms, explosives, etc.) I'd probably clear them out a lot faster. But the heat generation would create a cycle of screamers that would complicate the whole operation, not to mention having to face down a dozen rads at once.
That was close! With 2,000 hours ingame, I also play the game quite calmly, but in that one situation I don't know if I wouldn't have messed it up... Good video! 😁
I've been experimenting with the different armor types and their effectiveness in combat. My baseline is a Str build with sledges, and perception for sniper rifles. I run tier VI infested clears as loudly as possible pulling as many zombies at a time as I can using explosives, movement, etc. I tested the Preacher full set and the Raider full set. I have to say, the Preacher set held up nicely, but I did get down to about 80/160 health. The set is very good. The raider set was unbelievable. I ran the Crack A Book, running through all three top levels to pull everyone and the bottom 3 levels pulling everyone and the Raider set held up like a monster. I dropped to 137/161. It was a BEAST of a set. I plan to try out the other sets as well, but now that I've got to lvl 60+ and have almost all the books read, I don't know if the nerd helmet/chest combo is worth it any more. Reducing the chance of critical hits and being immune to stun is amazing with the raider set. I do miss the Biker boots for the stamina cost reduction, but only when I pull 50-60 at a time.
a couple urban combat books and stealth books I believe aid in truly becoming a ghost to zombies at least for now lol also some advice anything that causes bleed damage will make the said zombie know where you are until the bleeding effect stops then you can hide from them again

The pistol is extremely quiet when silenced. The Desert Vulture is louder, even when silenced. How much more, with full perks and top-tier Assassin gear I have yet to determine. I'm getting close. I'm hoping with full Assassin armor at Q6 that the silenced Dulture will still be usable at 4 to 5 blocks distance without waking other Z's. The regular Pistol can be used at almost point blank without waking a nearby Z, as long as it is a single shot. Unfortunately, even with full perks and Q6 Pistol with 4 mods, its still not enough to take out most feral zombies with a single stealth headshot. The Dulture should be able to easily double to triple the damage of the Pistol, so if it's not excessively more noisy, it should make the Assassin build much more competent. I'd hate for the Dulture to be relegated to "horde night only" status because it's just too loud, even silenced.

@@GunsNerdsandSteel Correct. It was usable but trigger rooms left you without defense. This is better now. But you're right, they might have overdone it.
A13 or 14 you could literally tap dance on a zombies head with stealth, the FP go all over the shop with stealth, sometimes it's OP, sometimes it sucks.
@@engineeringtheapocalypse - Trigger volumes are limited by their nature (they are computationally expensive) so they're usually only a few "unavoidable" blocks on entering a room NORMALLY. If you use frames or bypass the usual entry, you can often avoid them. The tricky part is recognizing those spots.....in the previous few alphas for stealth to be truly effective, you had to learn how to NOT set off the triggers. Knowing where they are for a given POI, or recognizing likely spots in POIs you don't know, and using that knowledge to bypass them worked very well. Still does. BUT, sometimes it takes WAY too much time to do that at every possible trigger point. I stealthed T5 POIs in alphas 19-22, with virtually NO zombie waking up and with almost zero risk......but it typically took me 2-3 DAYS to finish it. It was a VERY slow process, because if you messed up, you were in deep crap. Because being stealthy meant T6 padded or T6 Military with Adv. Muffled Connector mods in all the pieces (except the military stealth boots), and even with a Banded Armor Mod in each as well your protection was limited and you couldn't take many hits.
@@heliumphoenix I know. Learning POIs by heart is something that happens to us addicts ;-) ... But as you explained, a lot of effort and prior knowledge was required and you couldn't really make up your errors. This is why I think it's more viable now - to the point of being too strong (breaking line of sight and immediately losing all zombies is a bit OP)
I was on the edge of my seat with that one, and a great choice with the backing track in the theatre. Talk about intense. I am wondering though... How would feral sense affect the benefits of the assassin armor set?
My intellect/agility build is crushing day 53 so far only died once in the early game to a sneaky mountain lion. Although just did my first tier 5 in wasteland even at night no problem smg, desert vulture, auto shotgun, and stun baton are so good
stealth seems kool but for me i would rather kick in the door in my heavy armor with my shock stick and face tank lol. my roommate is doing the stealth route and he hates clearing stuff with me now. anyway great vid.
If you do another agility playthrough I would like to see a linear horde base with you using the desert vulture, since the full magnum enforcer book set gives 44 weapons the ability to pierce multiple zombies making it a really strong horde base weapon.
Actually, when V1.0 first dropped, while horde night zombies WILL know where you are when they spawn, and move to reach you at Horde Night speed, they CAN lose you with full assassin gear and sufficient stealth. Not as fast as regular times, but I got stealth damage on some horde night zombies.....not many, but it IS possible.
I have also been noticing stealth being very buggy in favor of the player with this patch. Having no bonuses to stealth I could get noticed by a zombie, walk up to them, then crouch and get a sneak attack with melee.
With assassins armor at night you are practically invincible. Even with feral sense at insane difficulty in wasteland downtown, you can be in their faces and they'll do nothing. I had t6 assassins armor with maxed out stealth, tier VI infested have never been easier. Though I have to say, with this level of confidence you can get caught pretty fast in those POIs. If anyone did Minotaur theater, knows what I'm talking about.
I'm not sure, but the rain coming through non cube blocks might be related to the problems you were having in the Horde Every Night series with cops being able to see you through non cube blocks and trying to spit at you through them. Probably something to do with the alpha masking on those blocks making them seem invisible to certain game systems.
How much AP ammo and steel xbow bolts were expended to be offered 1 Shepards pie upon you return? what a joke. The rest of the rewards were total ass as well. That is completely unacceptable for a tier 5 of that magnitude in the wasteland (radiated/demo etc). Balancing trader missions is fine, but they have went waaaay too far the other way.
I recently died doing the theatre infested, well kind of. Finished the quest and was looting when a wondering horde full of rads decided to wonder on in and have their way with me
The most ridiculous part about these airborne bolts is: They're immovable objects. They can(and will) stop a car, as if you'd have run into a wall. We did a multiplayer stealth playthrough and these were EVERYWHERE.
Started a new rwg after the latest patch. Not sure what changed, but got 8 legendary parts before first horde night. Didnt even do a savage country. Trying the nerd set with the intellect damage bonus.
That steel crossbow bolt is a bug that has been around for a long time. Worst thing about it is those bolts are solid, and if you hit it with a vehicle it's like slamming into a brick wall.

Lovely! Been watching you since my friends kinda gave up on the game
I love the level 6 complete set in POI. The moment the zombies lost line of sight from me, they’ll forget about me
You must have had a half a hit point at one point at the end because it showed 0 on your HP bar. Clutch bandage on your part tho.
I totally startled when you said aj cause I was looking at something else for a second and was like ‘what about an aj now?’ followed very closely like ‘Im only 31 Tem don’t call me old’ (grandpa aj isn’t me but still couldn’t stop the thought train😂) lmao
I thought you were a goner when you got surrounded. Nicely done!
Stealth is really an option in this edition. That wasn't really the case in the alphas.. so that's good.
I've seen people like Prebuilt using stealth effectively in older Alphas, but it was kind of tedious. Now it's too easy... lol
This is why I think it's more viable now - to the point of being too strong (breaking line of sight and immediately losing all zombies is a bit OP)
i thought for sure you would die in there....but you pulled it off...great job...
The other legendary part should either wait for a t6 smg or get t6 nerd armor, 50% chance to double skill mags is a massive boon!
I have over a dozen before the 2nd horde so they aren't that hard to find, you just have to loot literally everything
Good stuff, thanks!
This series has gotten me to try out 1.0.
I was on the edge of my seat with that one, and a great choice with the backing track in the theatre. Talk about intense.
I am wondering though... How would feral sense affect the benefits of the assassin armor set?
That's a great question, I think feral sense just affects detection distance though? So usual detection range is like 35 but feral sense is 70 meters?
My intellect/agility build is crushing day 53 so far only died once in the early game to a sneaky mountain lion. Although just did my first tier 5 in wasteland even at night no problem smg, desert vulture, auto shotgun, and stun baton are so good
stealth seems kool but for me i would rather kick in the door in my heavy armor with my shock stick and face tank lol. my roommate is doing the stealth route and he hates clearing stuff with me now. anyway great vid.
There could be a Crack a Book. Minutes before not taking a quest to a Crack a Book. Yeah i think there definitelly is a one :D
If you do another agility playthrough I would like to see a linear horde base with you using the desert vulture, since the full magnum enforcer book set gives 44 weapons the ability to pierce multiple zombies making it a really strong horde base weapon.
to be honesdt, for horde night u might wanna use damaging setups rather than assasin... cause u cant sneak anyhow during hordes ;D
@@heliumphoenix yeah, but as u say it, u probably also realise that it isn´t worth it
I have also been noticing stealth being very buggy in favor of the player with this patch. Having no bonuses to stealth I could get noticed by a zombie, walk up to them, then crouch and get a sneak attack with melee.
People always used to complain about stealth being broken (in terms of being useless) but now it's broken in the other direction - it's OP
The theater was insane!
insane as usual
12:54 Not on your compass as a quest kill, maybe the "sleep walkers" are just normal spawns
Interesting observation 🤔
26:07 thats some kind of bug. I've traveled across the whole map in my world and saw a lot of iron arrows just floating
you started the theater with like 18 or 19 crossbow bolts, I'm surprised you didn't run out sooner o.o
First time I’ve been early 😂, love the vids tho
How much AP ammo and steel xbow bolts were expended to be offered 1 Shepards pie upon you return? what a joke. The rest of the rewards were total ass as well. That is completely unacceptable for a tier 5 of that magnitude in the wasteland (radiated/demo etc). Balancing trader missions is fine, but they have went waaaay too far the other way.
Man the couch cushions got consumed on that one 😆
Obliviously sleep walking through all the action is on-brand for me.
I recently died doing the theatre infested, well kind of. Finished the quest and was looting when a wondering horde full of rads decided to wonder on in and have their way with me
In this episode, Tem goes full Skyrim stealth archer... "must have been the wind..." :D
That theater was nuts.
Short lived kamikaze steve, you will be remembered
man! I can't believe you did that by yourself. TGG did it with a crew and they barely made it through the theater
You should explore around the Wasteland Town, i have 3 Joels^^
and Check every Police Cars you can, i got so many good weapons out of it :D
That steel crossbow bolt is a bug that has been around for a long time. Worst thing about it is those bolts are solid, and if you hit it with a vehicle it's like slamming into a brick wall.
