Bought the shadow grey a few weeks ago and it’s a stunning car. The power is brilliant and it corners like it’s on rails. Will have many years of enjoying this car.
It does @nkau7788, I hadn’t seen one on the roads either in this colour until I picked this one up. I reckon it’s the best colour for the i30 N… it looks even better in person!
Hello @Straxmorz, it definitely wheels hops and torque steers on strong launches but you can regulate the throttle to counter it. It definitely boots but the handling around corners is where it’s at… it’s bloody impressive mate!
Hi @rimloch3919, the 1st generation from the specs I’ve seen has 202kw and 353nm while the newer model got a power and torque increase to 206kw and 392nm. So I expect the updated model would be touch faster (this one I reviewed was definitely quick 😉)
Thanks @shanebaldacchino and appreciate the feedback. I did have another comment on the adaptive cruise but appreciate you calling that out. I’ll add a correction to the description 🙂
Great in depth review, but a few errors, there are more than 4 colours available, the other options you haven't listed all cost extra, and the i30n does not have adaptive cruise control
Thanks @freeskillerz656 and thanks also for calling out the lack of adaptive cruise control. I’m puzzled by the colours though because I always check the manufacturers website. I’m wondering whether they had removed the other colours from the configurator at the time I checked the build 🤔 Also, there weren’t any options on the configurator at the time so if there are any options you know of, please let me know what these are and I’ll include them in the description. I’m sure it’ll come handy for anyone that wants to pick up a used i30 N 😊
I can't say I've driven the i20N yet but if I can get my hands on one, I'll do a review and let you know what I think. I reckon (based on the specs) that it's not going to be as potent as the i30N but looks like it'll still be a fun little car to toss around
@@TheWordOnCarsI own a 20N and owned 30N in the past. The 30 is heavy to throw about whereas the 20 is more fun in the twisties & has better fuel economy.
Fair call @thatoditsele9192. Compared to other hot hatches out there, the i30 N is definitely well priced for the amount of fun you can have in it but I take your point onboard
great review mate. look forward to more in the future :)
Thanks for the support mate and glad you enjoyed the video! 😃
amazing video, love this man !
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!

Congrats on the new car @swannie4762! No doubt… it’s near impossible to get bored of that little hot hatch and glad to hear you’re enjoying it!
Nice review
Thanks @shadowform1264 😊
Looks great in the red (never seen that colour on the roads though)

Hey mate, heard a lot of people comment on the wheel hop on take offs, how is it? looking to get one in a few months

Hi young man, was it faster than previous model? As it is less power than the previous one,❤

There is no adaptive cruise control, other than that a good review

Bro we need this in the US
Haha sorry mate, don’t know why they didn’t give you guys the i30 N over there! @Hyundai… sort this out please! 😏

What about the 120n ?

Thanks @TheDavinci888, sounds like I need to get behind the wheel of an i20 N and have a crack!
Rice bubbles ! What the heck are they ? Do you mean Rice Crispies ! 😂
I literally laughed out loud @danielq250… I forgot that’s what they’re called everywhere else! Yup, that’s what we call em here in Australia! 😂
lol I figured that 😂 just having a laugh 😊@TheWordOnCars
