Hope you enjoy today's hardcore minecraft episode!!! First time in a VERY long time where I've dedicated an entire video to a resource farm, what did you think??
I think this farm will be a wonderful source of copper for all of those horrible to craft but amazing looking new copper blocks, (especially the trapdoors!) keep up the good work!
This video is so fun! I remember the first hardcore world, it's incredible how you improved over time. This is definitely one of the best Minecraft worlds in history
@@kietse hes not knowledgeable in almost any field of mc, he hasnt changed his settings since he bought the game, doesnt know that that farm design sucks compared to other builds, and he dragged on an on about him having to mine like 12 shulks of sand which is nothing, he doesnt know how to break ice so it melts, and more
@@Beanliciaall of that is pretty irrelevant compared to what he’s doing inside his world, he’s no claiming to be a red stone expert or anything like that, he’s a builders and what he has built is incredible, if you want technical stuff, this ain’t the place, this a channel about building
The only thing large enough to cover up that farm is a mountain or even a volcano, the ash left by volcanic eruptions makes the soil fertile (which would help to explain why there’s a jungle between New Papyrus and the copper farm) and can create a very strong erosion resistant concrete, you could even use this farm as the center piece for a third city in your world, afterall your homebase has the World Tree.
I think instead of making big landscape around the farm, you should make some kind of fantasy castle, maybe surrounded by a copper- prismarine dragon? It would be an in-world explanation why there is no other structures around the farm.
Problem: that castle would be too big. The Keep, the main center structure of the castle, would have to be entirely dedicated to containing the farm, and that Keep alone would probably be bigger than any full castle ever built. Once you start adding on the other buildings that make up a castle, which would all have to be proportionally larger to not look too small compared to the massive keep, it would be a project as large as the entire Old City and New Papyrus combined, it would make Harrenhall from Game of Thrones seem small.
Possible solution, keep the landscape and the dragon. Classical stories of dragons all seem to have them living in caves, protecting massive piles of gold and jewels, right?
For some reason, breaking Ice without only makes it turn into water when it has a block below it. Does mean if you build up around the edge with a block in between you can place ice in columns up and then go through breaking them to get immediate source blocks across a large area. Probably still would need some kelp with the awkward shape of this kind of farm, however.
To fix the bee problem 24:12 : You will either need to fill up the dispensers all the way as the honey bottles want to fill the dispensers OR You can put at least one bottle in each slot so the go into the hoppers( I would suggest about 10 in each dispenser slot as the run out quite quickly)
Amazing video as always. And I think you could use the "old" copper farm as a sightseeing point in the city. The people working there could use it as a guided tour for tourists who want to see the factory and want to know how the copper was produced before the production was updated. I am so excited about the future projects
On your honey farm in the nether, you need to make sure every slot in the dispensers are full then this will assure that no honey goes in the dispensers and are forced to go into the hoppers
[8:53] you joke but i absolutely think you should make your mining desert a corrupted wasteland when you've removed all the sand. I just think it'd be neat.
I’ve said it on a previous comment, but I think it would be really cool to see you build a small Diplocaulus organic in the waters near New Papyrus. I think not only would it be a cool challenge for you, a small organic creature, but it would add some lore as well! Perhaps the Diplocaulus is an ancestor to the axolotls that Papyrus worship. They’re thought to be extinct but there’s still a few swimming around in the waters. Also it would compliment the Sniffer as another prehistoric creature!! Maybe every little area you could try to make a new organic!! Push yourself outside your comfort zone a little!! Could be neat!!!
Oo! Maybe you can cover up the farm by building a mountain that the river runs through. Maybe incorporating a cave, maybe some magical vibes with the amethyst or purple stained glass you’ve done in the past.
This comment will probably get buried within all of the comments but you should add like excavation equipment into the mining desert give it some personality
I'm so annoyed that mud and pigs are both In the game yet muddy pigs in not a thing. It would be such a cool feature for pigs to roll in mud pits and get dirty!
id love eventually to see villages in all the biomes! like maybe a winter ice village. the dessert one is amazing and I think itd be cool for world building to have tons of different communities
I'm literally rewatchting the whole series as we speak. I love these videos and I really want to build a Dwarven city just like you, but I'm not that great at building. I mostly use tutorials
Love the video. Quick tipp: you can save alot of time by binding your "place block" to a random key on your keyboard instead of a mouse button for bone mealing flowers or for placing blocks when building a wall because holding down a key on your keyboard gets updated more often then you holding your right mouse button
im seeing all these comments suggesting how you can hide the farm. why does the farm need to be hidden? personally i think exposed farms just look cool and show how much you've actually done in the world. because sure, doing a mega build is no small feat but, especially for a farm this big, shows how much work you're actually put into it.
in the future, I don't think you need to grow the kelp all the way around the outside perimeter. I think you can just make a cross shape, and it should spread out from there as the water sources create more sources, extending all the way to the perimeter. it might not get a few nooks and crannies, but far easier than having to do the entire edge
If memory serves, that particular farm design for the bee farm results in honey bottles going back into the despinser because not all of the slots are full.
Hey fWhip, I think you should make the desert wasteland where you mine your sand from into a ruined ancient arena similar to something like the Roman Colosseum or something. I think it would be really cool and fit into some interesting lore and it would give you something to hide the desert wasteland with!! Love the videos
Yo didn't think anyone would still be using this design seeing as it was optimised for the small rivers in 1.17, so glad to see you've found a use for it :p (sorry it uses so many materials lol, it's kinda the perfect project for hardcore youtubers like yourself who live in the grind tho)
all good, and just for your deco, if you decide to build something over the top of the farm, that'll decrease the rates a bit more as the game will try and spawn mobs from the bottom of the world to the highest spawnable block
I can't wait to see what you do with the neather hub, cause it would be neat to make biomes & such that indicate which neather portal takes you where. Can use that smokey glass effect as a way to show water, just build a terrain that goes up haha *ideas Excited exctied
Fwhip I know you probably won't see this, but over the past year or so you've become one of my favorite youtubers - and not just minecraft, but especially for minecraft. Your videos are well made and well edited and they're so entertaining and informative. You give me inspiration to build cool things in my world and use blocks in ways I would never have thought of using them. I love seeing a new 35+ minute fwhip video. Thanks for all your hard work to make content for us to enjoy.
FWIP U NEED TO KNOW THIS !!!!... if you hold shift and space on the crafting recipe (for the item you'retrying to craft), it'll instantly refill the crafting table with the right materials and you just click the slot that homes the block/item you just crafted and uts SOOOOOOOO quick ( ALSO works with villager trading)
You need to spread your glass bottles so the 9 dispenser slots are full. Then the honey bottle gets spat out and collected in the hopper below the bee hive
what if I told you: The 10 minute build zombie reinforcement farm is much more efficient for farming copper with the only downside being that it drops no tridents xD
would love to see the nether hub turned into an enchanted forest with winding paths leading to thematic portals. I feel like maybe that would allow a lot of flatness but still give depth with different height trees etc. Maybe this portal system was in use by a set of ancient civilizations so they each gave their portal its own unique look based on their culture?
fWhip I have a couple build ideas… 1. Definitely upgrade to an insane nether hub 2. When you fully mine out the mining desert turn it into somewhat of an apocalyptic wasteland.
I know this was posted 2 weeks ago, but I will gladly remind you, fWhip: placing a block underneath the ice block is the best way to make water replace the ice after you break it.
As another idea that's popped into my head is that as you have a neither hub project coming up you could turn it into a tall electronic type city to broaden the types of building styles you have in your world with the nether portal lines becoming streets and inbetween shoving some place holder build for anything you want to put inside of it
It is so large and flat, this farm is perfect for you to design a whole new Biome: the plateau, like the ones they have in Venezuela (you could even make an underground River/crystal cave using the space between the river and the bottom of the farm). Just a thought, but like your birch forest, it will be like giving this river biome an upgrade!
short fix for nether roof highway is just put up some signs saying where each portal goes and have fun sorting out that mountain sized build around the drowned farm, a new mountain would be an obvious build for that big of a farm but i know you know how to spruce it up into something more unique
Fwip does 6 days worth of work on a farm, an addition however long to edit, all for a 35 minute video that I then watch at 1.75 speed. Nice job everyone, can’t wait to see what he does to cover it up.
At the very end you said you wanted to hide it, so you could make like a giant statue, or a few medium sized mountains to cover it up. I’m sure you’ll think of something cool as well
You should make a turtle sanctuary/ habitat. You had talked previously in a video about wanting to incorporate more animals into your builds to give them life, and turtles are such cool mobs.

FWHIP!!!, YOU SHOULD DEFENITLY BUILD A GIANT NETHER HUB, AND PLEASE, IF YOU INCLUDE ALL SMALL NETHER PORTALS, PLEASE BUILD A MINIATURE THING ITS LEADING TO AROUND IT, SO DO SOMETHING WITH COPPER FOR THE COPPER FAR PORTAL AND THINGS LIKE THAT, I LOVE YOUR VIDS, KEEP IT UP!!!!
The amount of brain-draining tasks that you had to do, for so many hours, is just insane to me! Big props for the grind! I remember the start of this series, and its just so cool to see your world expand every episode!!
Note to self… “Fwhip is awesome. Also don’t build the drowned farm he did if you value your sanity.” On the honey farm, I always spread the empty bottles in all the slots of the dispenser so all the full honey bottles will fall onto the hoppers. (At least until I forget the farm is there and it runs out of empties!)-autocrafter is gonna make that one so much better!!
I always love figuring out how to cover up farms with an aesthetic shell but uh...yeah I don't envy you here. Only thing I can think of is a real chunky mountain range.
Hey I got a idea for you make a volcano or a cyber building or cyber city and if you will do volcano do real lave but you don’t need to and if you do cyber building or cyber city try to make the cyber lights glow but you don’t need to but just some ideas and make a arcade in your city if you want to
I take the time to make sure every enchantment villager I have also has a glass trade. It takes a bit longer but you end up with 20 glass trading villagers which if you stop by every once and a while and buy out their glass you get a lot way faster than mining sand.
A mountain would be the perfect thing to cover that. At the top you could put a monument, temple, or a castle to cover the storage area and the top of the farm. Then create another city around the monument/temple/castle. The Lore: A top a mountain sat a grand jungle monument/temple/castle where the native people would go to pray and gain life changing wisdom. Surrounding the monument/temple/castle was a mountain top village, each home placed on the highest peaks. It's people would sing and dance in the city square outside of the monument/temple/castle. Jungle trees growing at both the lowest points of the mountain and at the highest. The soil is so rich around the monument/temple/castle that the beautiful building gifts the city's people with riches (copper and any other mod drops). The people decorate their homes with copper, prismarine, and jungle wood.
I think it could be super cool idea to build a giant castle around the farm and you could make it like an old kings or alien castle to tie into the monelith
Can you put scaffolding on glass panes? That could reduce the amount of glass used as well as the amount of drownd having difficulty getting to the top.
I can’t wait to see all the copper roofs you going to build fwhip! 🫠🤪 P.s. I loved the Mushroom Factory so I’m totally taking inspiration for my world 🎉❤
60 hours is dedication. You may want to use some mass dupers for efficiency. Most people do it because mindlessly repeating tasks just makes Minecraft boring. Feel free to do whatever way you want. Amazing video!

When you are done with the mining desert you should make it into a “wasteland” biome with like toxic goo and dead trees
Could’ve you have used the red sand from the river delta transformation to make glass as well? Or you holding onto it for another project?
FWHIP HARDCORE LET'S GOOOOOO

"THE ZOMBIE JUST CRUSHED TWO EGGS!"
"Yeah they do that."
"FOR FUN?????"
"Yeah"
34:06 you killed two Donkeys!? Wtf is wrong with you!?😂
You should make a turtle sanctuary/ habitat. You had talked previously in a video about wanting to incorporate more animals into your builds to give them life, and turtles are such cool mobs.
Improvement idea, put soul campfires under the feet of the drowned in the kill chamber. Makes the farm self operating. Bonus if you can make the campfires retractable
then you don't get tridents, copper or the looting multiplier
If you survive long enough to clear all the sand in that biome, you should turn it into like a custom wasteland, with like stones and fires burning, post apocalyptic vibes. Could be sickkk to design in minecraft, custom wasteland biome?
If you want to get the drowned through the portals in the nether faster you could do the turtle egg trick on them as well, hope this helps!

I hope Fwhip never ends this series☝️
I can’t wait to see all the copper roofs you going to build fwhip! 🫠🤪

60 hours is dedication. You may want to use some mass dupers for efficiency. Most people do it because mindlessly repeating tasks just makes Minecraft boring. Feel free to do whatever way you want. Amazing video!
