I Hope you enjoy today's episode in the hardcore world! What do you think of the new City Harbor???? :D Leave a LIKE on this video to support me too please! ❤❤
Yooo fwhip I rlly love your content bro and I ask that you consider making a little wagon shop kinda thing or like a lil boat market that is home to Jimbo the magic merchant but anyway love your content and take as many breaks as u need
Idea for the Axolotls, Maybe close of the river with some blue glass and realease Them into it. The axolotls could then be a symbol of the city, and the reason for the blue one being so highly praised
Axolotls could just be considered as sacred creatures in the city so there’s little pools of water everywhere for them and no one really harms them because of their importance both religiously and to the environment around them.
The ice breaker on the ship gives me an idea that one day you can build a city in a ice spike biome or something. It would be a cool contrast to the desert and I think that it would add a lot to the world for a trade route to be set between the two polar opposite cities.
This is a bit of a big side project, but you can build an offshoot cave and make a homemade Lush cave for the axolotls and intersperse some fantasy inspired amethyst crystals in it. It can be a little Sanctuary for them. It has to be big enough that entity cramming doesn't come into play, but it could also be like a little tourist spot for New Papyrus.
I would just break the glass and let them roam the sea protecting it from harm. We had a bay called Port guardian as the world generation failed and just spawned guardians not the temple
I think you should just have a bunch of water features scattered around the city like ponds and aquifers and just place a few axolotls in each to remember all the work you put in
12:40 I didn't know you're colorblind. Considering how you use color in your buildings so effectively, it's not something anyone would guess. Now I'm extra impressed with your build style!
The city is looking more and more lush and colorful despite the biome! Also that ship is beautiful. More fantasy ships please! Flying ships and boats would be a cool addition to the fantasy theme as well. I hope Booger and his wife Snot and kid Mucus thrive in the Blue Axolotl Bazaar. :>
I suggest a watermelon field for next episode! Watermelon farming originated in Egypt and historically watermelons were a source of clean hidration in arid regions or in regions where groundwater wasn't impure. They weren't the most common in ships due to them rotting relatively fast, but for short trips it wouldn't be unusual to have fruit. I think it would really fit a desert city.
@@fWhip I somehow forgot, just checked again and it's only been 2 weeks, sorry for that. But yeah a second one wouldn't hurt, it's your build and I love your style so whatever you do in the end I think it will be cool.
I had this idea, what if you build a building where flying ships are made of in your desert. Then that will be a link to the star trader flying ship in your main city. The build could also be in the upcoming jungle city or wherever you’d like to.
Instead of blimp building area, it would be fine to build just landing area since New Papyrus is a place of commerce not of craftsmanship. Leaving the ship building to areas which are more secluded like jungles or valleys would be better practically and lorewise.
“Dispose” of some of the Axolotls, but someone else suggested making shrines and I think that's a good idea. But I also like the idea of releasing some in the river system or making some sort of temple. You could also make a cave dedicated to axolotls and axolotl worship. Just axolotl worship in general! Love the video!
These obelisks really reminds me of Colossus of Rhodes (somehow). And as a huge history geek I'm largely approve it ;D I also came up with the idea of religion of these desert-folks. The can worship blue axolotl like people in ancient Egypt worship different animals and make them gods of something.
the harbour and ships look really good! you could maybe build a boat ramp where people could get their boats up from the water for repairs and maybe a shipbuilder or something
I think you should move some of the axolotls to the lake in the underground city, make an aquarium/axolotl sanctuary for a unique attraction in New Papyrus (maybe they revere axolotls), and unleash the rest into the ocean.
It's a super cool detail about the detachable masts thing, Viking ships for example which were designed for both sea and river travel had detachable masts and crews of rowers for when the wind was unfavourable.
Release the Axolotls into the harbor. I think they've earned it. P.S. May I suggest Mudkip as one of the blue axolotls names if you decide to name them? My first blue axolotl was named Mudkip and I think it's a cute name!
Make an axolotl island/cove!!!! Bring a cliff up and make a hidden oasis or make an island a little far off that has a pool in the middle that also connects to out of the ocean. You could also build so much off of that and make somewhere that's maybe a type of tribe lives there or there's an old sacred temple
I agree with you completely this is a sandbox game and I think litematica is a useful tool. I'm sorry if anyone ever told you something different. Wonderful video btw!
I love the hugh fantasy boat design + the ram fits in with the desert vibes since ancient egyptians and greeks used tririemes and theyre a boat made for naval combat and ramming
I love the big boat! I don't want to nag about it because I really like the design...but just from a functional standpoint, how would the captain able to see where he or she is navigating to with a wall in front of the wheel and having the wheel on the inside? Maybe it could be on top?
As a maritime university student I highly appreciate this episode, especially the vocabulary that you were using throughout the entire episode. Great job, not only your building is immaculate but also the vibes you send off by using some marine terms are great and fit so well. Thanks fWhip!
Axolotl idea: Maybe close of the river with some blue glass and have the river filled up with axolotls The axolotls could then be a symbol of the city, and the reason for the blue one being so highly praised
Thing about building in the desert is that you want bright colors in the building materials to contrast the monochrome backdrop. Also, more greenery in desert cities equates to wealth and power, so if you feel adding more greenery will improve the scenery, you're almost always correct
Hi fwhip! Loved todays video & had a suggestion for the bazaar you’re building!! A cool name for it could be the Blue Botl Bazaar (botl like axolotl) :) Love your videos & very excited to see the next episode!!
Hi fWhip. I have an idea if you want to show more variety in boats. You could try to show that they have started to enter the steam age by building Tramp Steamers, Coastal Steamers, and Steam Tugs. And from the way you set the harbour up i would recommend a paddle tug. Like SS Eppleton Hall as her model has a motor for each paddle. Making them the kings of narrow riverwork as they could spin one paddle one way and the other the opposite way. Just an idea. And another idea for connecting your main base and this one could be a railroad that could stretch between them. I feel like this could give the illusion of an industrial abillity as you can transport goods and passengers from the main base to the docks and back. It could be called something like The FWhip Railroad(T.F.R) and you can choose if you want steam or diesels or both. Also i really like these long videos when im bored in the games i play and just want some intertainment. Plus this also work as sparks of inspiration for me when i build.
@fWhip the boat you designed in creative looks really amazing, every time i watch one of your videos i get more and more blown away. Just want to say thank you for the entertainment you do for us.
Hey fWhip. Building idea. Since I have noticed that you have yet to build a pyramide in any of your previous videos, I think it would be nice to try maybe and do one in this series and since you are building a desert city right now I think it would be a perfect add. Love your videos!
Awesome! If I were you, before building a Minecraft boat, I would do a lot of research on Medieval ships (cogs, hulks, caravels, carracks, galleys, etc). This would allow you to build MUCH better ships in the future.
awesome work!! i think putting some type of planters on the other side of the harbor is a good idea. maybe try doing less of them or a different set of plants? either way i think some greenery there would fit
Building a temple dedicated to the various different colors of the axolotls. Each one could represent a different area of society. Blue could represent nobility, yellow could mean working class, and so on. Work them into every house as a mandatory proof of identification. Maybe when the children are of age they get taken to the axolotl temple and like a sorting hat it determines their fate.
My sister and I love naming tiny things ridiculously long names like Dr. Phillip Montgomery lll or Felix Barnaby of Yardley things like that. It makes things fun :) Also love the boats a lot 🤟🏻
If you are looking for more inspiration ideas here's one: when you eventually get to the point of building a palace in this region consider also building a cleopatra inspired royal boat
I’m glad creators are using litematica because it just makes sense as a content creator. You’re still doing all the work. But with a stencil. Awesome builds man!!
As someone from Seattle, I kinda was hoping you’d do some form of locks to have a transition between higher levels of water and lower levels of water but idk if that would make sense in a desert anyways😅
You should use drip stone as a trunk for your palm trees 🌴 it’ll look awesome! You could also make a little building hut for your shulker monster to keep nice vibes. Love your videos!! Can’t wait for more!!
Every time there's a new FWhip upload, as I click on it to watch, I say a little "I love FWhip" to myself. Love the videos buddy. The hardcore world is so riggin' cool ❤
Collect as many axolotls as you can in buckets and set them up in a market. That's what I would do. You can make a little habitat for the rest, or just take them far away to release them in different places. Maybe little habitats along that road?
you know the "gray stained glass pane" trick really works a lot better on gray stone blocks than on red sandstone. I think orange glass might match the color a lot better and still get the same effect across
it's more for the fact that it doesn't show against the sky or minecraft fog in the background, orange stained glass I tried and it stood out way too much for me
for the axolotl army, perhaps you could add a series of submerged nets as a protection from river bandits, and set some of the axolotl in as river guards. also, may i suggest the Azure Axolotl Agora as a name for the new bazaar?
I LOVE the big boat's design. It reminds me of the airships from Guns of Icarus with that ram on the front (Those would be great inspiration for future boats and balloons)
Amazing video! I haven't been able to get the Blue Axolotl unfortunately. If you need another idea for a boat, how about a trade ship for the Wandering Trader? With blue/red/yellow sails to complement his colors. He could have some very exotic goods on his ship.
Love the boats, just some advice from a nautical enthusiast: 1. Sails are much bigger than the boat itself. If you're building a ship with square sails with a parallel beam, the sails should be wider than the boat itself. In general, almost all of your sails should be at least twice the height of the rest of the boat, depending on how detailed you want to get. This mostly just applies to larger ships that act as more impressive design statements or attention grabbers, and it makes the ship much more imposing. 2. With parallel beam designs, a ship can gain more direct speed with the sails, but not as much turning, this is why schooners and other larger ships have a gaff or bermuda (styles of sails) on the spanker (the sail in the back perpendicular to the rest of the sails), and several jibs and staysails that aren't attached to a mast. 3. The bigger the ship, the more types of sails you want. A small ship can make do with just one lateen sail, but a medium ship usually needs a mainsail and a staysail, usually on the same mast. Once you start getting into multi mast designs, you'll want more than one sail per mast, up to 5 depending on just how big the ship is, and sails for turning as well. 4. Get creative with your hull designs, it is ridiculous the kind of crap that people get away with having as a functional vessel. Portuguese and Dutch style ships, along with some Spanish style boats are what everyone things of, but Egyptian barques, viking longboats, chinese war vessels, Maori mega-canoes, if a culture had access to water, they came up with a ship style. 5. Since this is very much a river area, some Venetian style gondolas work in much shallower waters as they are pushed along by poles rather than oars or sails, which are great for narrow and/or shallow areas Your work is excellent, and far better than I could do, these are just some tips from a fan who wants to be helpful.
I love that larger boat and the unique design, especially that Beak design at the front, I love making Boats but I usually just build real ones I've not made many Fantasy ones just a few Ghost Ships and this has given me lots of inspiration
The big fantasy style ship feels like it could be some sort of guard ship for the merchant ships. Like it would sail around protecting the merchants from pirates and dock whenever it need to result or have repairs done.
I think you could make smaller bazaars not necessarily in your city but around the desert at trade spots maybe? For each color of axolotl!!!! And keep some of your army in a pool at each one
Slapped a big ole “LORE” sticker on the side of that boat haha! Super cool that you’re stepping out of your comfort zone a bit and trying something new, it’s looking great!
I defenitely think if there are 2 kingdoms there is reason for the kingdoms to build a military, to make sure incase the others attacked they could defend themselves. You should build some forts with seige weapons, a navy, military tent villages and the like, military acadamys too
I Hope you enjoy today's episode in the hardcore world!
Forgot to mention but I love the big boat design
Pls name one blue axolotl "mudkip" like the pokemon
Wooohooo new episode!!!! Also not even minutes in and I’m going to say judging by the thumbnail I think it looks great! ❤

Axolotls could just be considered as sacred creatures in the city so there’s little pools of water everywhere for them and no one really harms them because of their importance both religiously and to the environment around them.
And the remaining ones should be set free into the ocean
Or "cleaned up" if they produce too much lag
YES.
do this please
Yeah! That would be amazing
Such a better idea than tnt
The ice breaker on the ship gives me an idea that one day you can build a city in a ice spike biome or something. It would be a cool contrast to the desert and I think that it would add a lot to the world for a trade route to be set between the two polar opposite cities.
@fWhip please see this
I do want to try building in the snow again soon! on the project list for sure :D
Maybe he should give it an elven theme 😅
This is a bit of a big side project, but you can build an offshoot cave and make a homemade Lush cave for the axolotls and intersperse some fantasy inspired amethyst crystals in it. It can be a little Sanctuary for them. It has to be big enough that entity cramming doesn't come into play, but it could also be like a little tourist spot for New Papyrus.
I like this idea
Im investing in this
Release the horde of axolotls into the ocean so that they can terrorize the harbor’s invasive fish species.
But at that point, they'd BE an invasive fish (salamander) species!!
That would be funny to see, but also moorflower is right. There will be no more fish for anyone to eat or to add to their fish tanks or anything!
I would just break the glass and let them roam the sea protecting it from harm. We had a bay called Port guardian as the world generation failed and just spawned guardians not the temple
Yes I agree, release them!
That would be awesome to see. AXOLOTL CANNON
Fr
Won’t the kill all the fish

I think you should just have a bunch of water features scattered around the city like ponds and aquifers and just place a few axolotls in each to remember all the work you put in
I was thinking along the same lines. They should definitely become a theme throughout the city to show all the time you put into it.
12:40 I didn't know you're colorblind. Considering how you use color in your buildings so effectively, it's not something anyone would guess. Now I'm extra impressed with your build style!

Commenting for the watermelon field :)) 🍉
we already have one, but couldn't hurt to add a second right?? :D

You should make an underwater city for the axolotls! That would be absolutely amazing and so unique!
@fwhip please
Axolantis.
Big project for such lil’ guys 😂😅
make an army
Make an AXOLOTL army
Then set them free
Worthy of mordor?
Army !!!!!!

I also came up with the idea of religion of these desert-folks. The can worship blue axolotl like people in ancient Egypt worship different animals and make them gods of something.
A little inspired by that idea!!
you should totally name the fish Lucky, since he didn’t get eaten 😂 also love the harbor, it looks amazing!!!

Petition for Fwhip to make a tiny elytra course from the surface to his villager cave.
Decorated
You should create and underwater sewer system for all the axolotls or like a secret underground city. You could also name the fish "The Chosen One".
It's a super cool detail about the detachable masts thing, Viking ships for example which were designed for both sea and river travel had detachable masts and crews of rowers for when the wind was unfavourable.
You should build a lighthouse look at the lighthouse of Alexandria for some inspiration I think that would look great
I love the boat designs. Congrats on the Blue Axolotl!
Release the Axolotls into the harbor. I think they've earned it. P.S. May I suggest Mudkip as one of the blue axolotls names if you decide to name them? My first blue axolotl was named Mudkip and I think it's a cute name!
You could raid an ocean monument with all of the axolotls! I know you've already done that, but have you done it with 390 axolotl allies?
25:05 fishes name: Proprietors Junior!
Make an axolotl island/cove!!!! Bring a cliff up and make a hidden oasis or make an island a little far off that has a pool in the middle that also connects to out of the ocean. i LOVE the big boat. its very final fantasy to me, like final fantasy 9 i think
New fWhip video always brings a smile to my face!
Such a fun episode! I hope you have a wonderfully relaxing break and happy anniversary to you and your wife!
You could ``restore and relocate´´ a Shipwreck to put into the Harbor :)
Name the fish Bubblegum. The pink is kinda similar. Also the build is looking great well done Fwhip!
I agree with you completely this is a sandbox game and I think litematica is a useful tool. I'm sorry if anyone ever told you something different. Wonderful video btw!
Love the Harbour/Boats and can’t believe you finally got the blue axolotl! Can’t wait to see the buildings in the city bring New Papyrus to life!
I love the hugh fantasy boat design + the ram fits in with the desert vibes since ancient egyptians and greeks used tririemes and theyre a boat made for naval combat and ramming
maybe make a giant lush cave with the axolotls that is under the city and is used for farming glowberries
25:37 GG on the Blue Axolotl ^^
And the new area is starting to look pretty amazing too
who loves it when fwhip posts??
he is the best youtuber
Epic harbor, and boats. and booger is amazing!
Fwip should make a desert ship in the old city to show even more lore (lore lore lore)
I love the big boat! I don't want to nag about it because I really like the design...but just from a functional standpoint, how would the captain able to see where he or she is navigating to with a wall in front of the wheel and having the wheel on the inside? Maybe it could be on top?
Love the effort just for this lil blue axolotl :)
As a maritime university student I highly appreciate this episode, especially the vocabulary that you were using throughout the entire episode. Great job, not only your building is immaculate but also the vibes you send off by using some marine terms are great and fit so well. Thanks fWhip!
What about a remaster of sorts on the main temple building in old papyrus? Could be interesting!
Axolotl idea: Maybe close of the river with some blue glass and have the river filled up with axolotls
The axolotls could then be a symbol of the city, and the reason for the blue one being so highly praised
You could incorporate some other types of intersting builds inspired by The Lighthouse of Alexandria, and the Alexandria Library?
What do you think?
4:28 i wonder if using the blue nether fences occasionally would give it the look of being mossy? Thanks for the wonderful episode!
@fWhip the boat you designed in creative looks really amazing, every time i watch one of your videos i get more and more blown away. Just want to say thank you for the entertainment you do for us.
You should add some form of sleds or ships that people use to surf and transport goods across the desert
Hey fWhip. Building idea. Since I have noticed that you have yet to build a pyramide in any of your previous videos, I think it would be nice to try maybe and do one in this series and since you are building a desert city right now I think it would be a perfect add. Love your videos!
Looks awesome as always fWhip! You're gonna need a massive crane for that ship though

Actual first Chanel that made sense becoming a member
I love the fantasy ship you built, it’s so sick! I would love to see more of that. Also you should name the fish you found pinky
The ship looks like something straight out of once piece! I love it
I’m glad creators are using litematica because it just makes sense as a content creator. You’re still doing all the work. But with a stencil. Awesome builds man!!
Glad to see you take a break for a little. Wouldn’t want you to get burnt out.
As someone from Seattle, I kinda was hoping you’d do some form of locks to have a transition between higher levels of water and lower levels of water but idk if that would make sense in a desert anyways😅
I honestly thought about it but since minecraft water level is all the same, it didn't make too much sense to me for this build :)
@@fWhip that makes a lot of sense! Love your creativity! So happy for the blue axolotl!!
I really like the big boat design. I’ve never seen anything like it. Great job!
You should use drip stone as a trunk for your palm trees 🌴 it’ll look awesome! You could also make a little building hut for your shulker monster to keep nice vibes. Love your videos!! Can’t wait for more!!
It would be cool if you could build something similar to the hanging gardens of Babylon. I love watching your videos btw! Great work!

Maybe a lighthouse? Like the Lighthouse of Alexandria I feel like that could benefit the build, but otherwise it looks great!
For the fishlet's name, I propose "Lucky"! Maybe its simple, but its quite fitting.
Collect as many axolotls as you can in buckets and set them up in a market. That's what I would do. You can make a little habitat for the rest, or just take them far away to release them in different places. Maybe little habitats along that road?
Release them to the wild or make an invisible wall with glass in the water entrance of the city and release some of them so it feels more alive
The final product of the tapestry @ 29:45 is beautiful
loved the episode!! so excited for new papyrus, and have a good time on ur break :3

All hail the blue axolotl!
Also, you're definatly doing well on building boats!
That building looks awsome! I love how you work with the color of blocks rather then their actual type like stone or wood
The large boat is so unique, absolutely love it!
I would like to start my comment by saying..... I LOVED THIS episode, and that build that holds the blue axolotls it's sooo good
I LOVE the big boat's design. It reminds me of the airships from Guns of Icarus with that ram on the front (Those would be great inspiration for future boats and balloons)

I feel like the fields in the desert area should be at the river level, and use irrigation canals. You could build a shadoof!
fWhip, I love your honesty in your videos, also loving this HC Survival and the builds.
I think a village over the river or an oasis would be a nice thing for the desert
The big fantasy style ship feels like it could be some sort of guard ship for the merchant ships. Like it would sail around protecting the merchants from pirates and dock whenever it need to result or have repairs done.
Those prismarine shade clothes are a stroke of genius.
You should build some forts with seige weapons, a navy, military tent villages and the like, military acadamys too
UNLEASH THE AXOLOTLS INTO THE OCEAN - Would be really satisfying to see haha!
