New slime idea: The regen slime. It grows slightly larger every 2 seconds or so. If it gets big enough, It will split into larger slimes. So if you have a little guy and you wait a while, he's gonna be a big man now. These will certainly be a pain to get rid of.
Slight problem is that as soon as it renders it will start multiplying and before you even see it there’s like 50 massive slimes and you can’t kill all 50 before they regenerate
imagine this plus gravity slime
a cool idea to make sphere slime not a joke, is for it to gradually speed up as it rolls, but also drift when trying to turn losing some of it's speed in the process. maybe it would deal more damage based on speed like the rocket slime?
Or make it so the infinity slimes can combine into bigger slimes when they run into each other, no matter the size difference between the sizes, they combine accordingly

it would be pretty funny if the mimic slime, when disguised as a chest, has a small chance to just be a BIG chest. Itd be very obvious that it would be a mimic but really funny to find in the wild imo

The no jump slime despite having no difference in health and dmg to normal slimes actually got better cuz even tho it is stuck, it also removed the one defect of missing hits, cuz whenever slimes tries to hit it mostly misses cuz of it always jumping, but since no jump slimes dont move at all, it kinda just became like a cactus where it almost never misses a hit cuz of it always standing still.

Thanks for all the likes i actually had another little thing to take this to the next level. The more health a mob has the larger the slime gets from killing it. Which obviously also increases the slimes health and damage???

I really really like this because despite all of them being slimes, they have so much variety in how you would fight them. Fundy cooking some fun and interesting gameplay
I feel like the no jump slime should still be able to move. If not they should at least be very strong or be called immobile slime
I think it would be cool if firework slimes were able to shoot firework rockets as a form of attack as well :3
Edit: I’ll probably come back to this to add ideas that build off of Fundy’s slimes!
Mimic slimes should be hostile and it should be able to mimic every single interactive block. I think the 50/50 chance of a chest being a mimic slime is a bit too common. I’m thinking maybe a 10% chance. The slimes should also turn back into the block they were mimicking, otherwise they are completely useless when a player exposes them.
I think it would be funny if the spherical slimes had slippery movement.

I'm not even half way done watching the video but the amount of slimes there are and how creative all of their characteristics and abilities are amazes me

Suggestions/adjustments
-The brain slimes get bigger after killing something. They can also absorb each other.
-The magnet slimes have a small chance to absorb other nearby smaller slimes and get bigger.
-The nojump slimes, depending on how heavy they are, can slowly create bigger sinkholes beneath them, allowing mobs and players within their radius to take a bit of fall damage.
-The mimic slimes can bite items the player is holding and swallow them to be bigger.
-Remove the sound effect on the ender slime to make them creepier.
-The glass cannon slimes when hit with anything that isn't an item, like fists, will apply slight bleed to the attacker, like glass shards.
-The armor slimes take reduced knockback.
-When gas slimes hit the player, they inflict blindness/some other bad effect for a few seconds (like poisonous gas)
-The long jump slimes instantly lose all momentum and send whoever they crashed into flying.
-The high jump slimes squash whoever they land on, stunning them temporarily. This could introduce some short combos randomly occurring
-When something physically hits the portal slime, there is a 50% chance of the portal slime swapping places with the attacker, meaning they have to turn around to attack it again.
-The black hole slime just hits the victim(s) over and over again while they are in the black hole, instead of deleting them. That way the size still affects how OP it is, because if you're sucked in early on you'll take damage for longer.
-Infinislimes all do almost no damage, no matter the size, they will then need to pile up to be overpowered. (this doesn't fix anything)

The brain slime concept has already been done by the mod “primitive mobs” with the only difference being it grows and can only attach to players
That mob also adds a dice bombing creeper check it out if you haven’t it’s peak
I was going to comment this myself. Primitive Mobs was and still is one my favourite mob mods out there. It was also one of the first to add an actual mimic into game and also had a creeper that buffed other mobs.

I have an idea for a mod, this is it.
Idea for mod: Alpha wolves in minecraft
How to find: if you see 9 wolves close to each other there will be a leader aka alpha.
How to tame: in order to tame an alpha wolf you must give it 25 bones.
Stats for jumping: to start with an alpha wolf can jump 4 blocks while running and 6 blocks when going straight up, if you give them a stack of feathers they can jump 8 blocks while running and 10 blocks while jumping straight up.
Stats for speed: they can run 4 times a player can run, if you make them hunt 25 horses they will run 8 times that of a player.
Stats for hp: they start with 20 hearts, you can up there hearts if they kill 100 cows, there hearts will become 80.
Snowy coat: if you put your Alpha wolf in powdered snow for 30 seconds it will turn white with blue eyes.
Sandy coat: if you put your Alpha wolf under six blocks of sand for 30 seconds I will turn beige with green eyes.
Dark coat: if you take your wolf into a cave and kill 10 zombies 10 skeletons and 10 creepers your Alpha wolf will turn black with white eyes.
Plain coat: the coat they spawn with, it is a coat that at the top is Grey and then it fades to white, they also have yellow eyes.

Add an invisible item to chest loot tables.
When the loot table is checked, check for item, spawn slime.
When the slime is killed, it drops whatever else was in the chest.
Now, fill a chest with the item

Mimic slimes should definitely only spawn from trapped chests and with a much lower spawn rate, it must be so annoying to try and play with this mod when you can't use chests

One idea for a balance change is nerf the gravity slime so it also gets knockback gravity. the heavier the object near it (e.g. size 3 slime vs size 1 gravity slime), the more it gets knocked back in contrast to the other slime, proportionally.
or just make it simpler by making both recieve the same knockback if you are at a certain distance to the slime.

A couple suggestions for the tnt slime, if you intend to keep working on this mod:
-for large explosions use multiple explosions spawning in a sphere around the slime, single minecraft explosions suck when they have a potency higher than that of a charged creeper because they do those ugly squares and small rays going off everywhere
-add a way to stop them from exploding because otherwise it's impossible to get rid of them (either that or make them start to explode when damaged, giving you time to kill them before they can do it)
