Over 500 days of work have went into this project!!! And well over 100,000 blocks!! Please be sure to leave a like on this episode as I've now completed the largest build I've ever made in hardcore minecraft!! Thank you for all the support
In that new open space, You should add some giant acorns or fallen fruit from the tree ! If they’re magical you could add some light source blocks to them to help off set the darkness created by the branches
The tree looks absolutely incredible! I think it would be amazing to add some sort of small temple or sanctum somewhere near the base of the tree. People who worship the tree could gather there and make sure that the tree stays healthy, since it hangs halfway over the city as well now in order to prevent the tree from dying and falling down. I think it would tie in well with the lore already in this world too!
As someone who was always bothered by the original proportions the new canopy is a massive improvement! I understand why it took so long to finish I don’t think I would ever have the patience to place that many leaves. Great job!
The amount of patience this takes is insane. Like seriously, who is like, "You know what I want to do, *PLACE LEAVES IN MINECRAFT FOR 11 DAYS STRAIGHT IRL*
I am so glad the community isn't angry at fWhip for using the Lightmatica feature for placing the leaves. I couldn't imagine having to do it the first time, let alone adding more this second time. The tree looks even more amazing and we're so proud of you fWhip!
People who get upset at the usage of Litematica are honestly weird and entitled. He's still building it in survival mode, and he created the design himself.
it actually inspired me to use it too cause I have so many huge projects and I either have to switch between my survival and my test world, or I can try and remember every block I placed :'D And People getting angry that he's using a tool to make creating and building more enjoyable for himself are so entitled
it would be so cool if you added a few spore blossoms hidden in the tree canopy! I think the floating spore particles would really add to the atmosphere :) you could also add some exposed tree roots in the surrounding area to make the tree feel more grounded and supported!
Well u might not be able to build cool castles this quickly but if u start from small you’ll get better ❤️🩹 start building small hoses villages and towns and then practice on bigger builds if u want
wow, when fWhip said in the intro that this world is already around 2 years old, I realized how long I've been watching and loving this project.😉👍 great work.
maybe build a small park where the trees at 35:35 were seeing as they've been they're for so long, it would be a nice homage to what was once there for so long :)
I don't know if this was part of the inspiration but I love that it looks kinda like a baobab with the greyish bark. Baobab are so majestic so it fits absolutely perfectly as the mystical centre of your world.
It's always a joy to see clips from a livestream that I participated in, especially the azalea leaves one. Such fun discussions we all had! One question I have is, what if the world tree had seeds that fall from the canopy and float around the world? What if those seeds sprouted into smaller variants of the world tree? Nowhere near as big or as elaborate, but similar, like a "baby" version.
i love the this world. it really brings me back to the days of Building with fWhip that i binged all the way through 4 years ago. the fact you always make each world one huge interconnected whole always struck a chord with me. though i kinda miss your more frequent updates, since you're more focused on releasing whole giga builds, it never fails to give me a boost whenever i see you upload. I'd like to suggest 'Captain Scholaris" for the Skyship Librarian
Oh my goodness that makes such a huge difference! I never realized how small the canopy actually was. Also its crazy that I've been watching this series since day 1. I subscribes right at the end of the last hardcore series when I was getting tons of inspiration for my own builds from your last series, and now I've seen how this new world has become something massive. Congrats.
Since the main focus of this video is the mega tree, I think it's fitting to name the star trader villager "Treestan" or "Treecia". Also, I'm so happy that you're finally upgrading the canopy of the tree, I've been watching since D-1 of this series and I'm so happy you're upgrading the tree that surprised me you did on May 2022! The result still surprises me! You really are such a master builder!
Hi fwhip!! It’s absolutely amazing that you take the time to upgrade all your old builds, and really put in the effort. I love how you expanded the leaves as it looked a little off, however now it looks absolutely perfect, and I think it really fits the lore. I love it! I’m trying to build my own city/town, but I am not great at building, so your builds always give me inspiration! Can’t wait for new papyrus to be finished!
Honestly happy he went with lightmatica for the leaves, placing leaves like that is such an insane pain in the peen and the more lazy you get with it the worse it’ll look in the end so taking a shortcut for everyone’s sanity was the right call
One comment here suggested that a shrine at the base of the tree would be a nice addition. If I could add on to that, perhaps the shrine could be at the back of the tree, in the middle of the city crescent, like the centre point of it all. A platform connected to the tree could also be interesting.
Considering you have a giga tree in the Overworld and in the End, have you thought about making a tree in the Nether? Then you'd have a world tree for each realm!
Especially in times when there’s not much going on in the empires world and TH-cam is full of hermits and decked out2, you deserve even more respect for your competing content. It’s always a must watch when a fhwip video pops up. Crazy detailing skills and choice of colour palettes. Love it. And even though I enjoyed your collab a lot on empires, I wish you’d get invited to hermitcraft. If I imagine you together with Grian and Scar… Not just the building skills, all the shenanigans… would be hilarious
Why not name the star trader villager Astraios - after the Titan and god of the stars, planets, and astrology? Him being an airship makes so much sense, since he’s so close to the stars as is!
You could add a little seating area/bench, facing the river next to the new farming house, as it's a really cozy place that I'd imagine the poeple living would use to chill out a bit after work. Love the dedication to the series, and all the different types of environments you've created!
(Not meaning this an offensive way)Have you guys truly realized just how dedicated fWhip is to us!? Like look at his upload schedule, a video about every 2 weeks! Which might seem bad at first but if you think about it, if we were doing this same exact thing as fWhip is in his series, we would probably at least take a month to get a video out for stuff like this while fWhip has been uploading every 2 weeks. He has to build all of this and then the video has to get edited afterwards and all of this gets done in the span of 2 weeks! Truly amazing!
I really don't understand why anyone would consider litematica to be "not legit". What you did with the leaves is just the better way to build something like that lol, anyone who says "oh you cheated" is being absurd imo. Like if you wanna do that _several hours_ of busywork than knock yourself out! But don't expect that of fwhip or anyone else. Also the tree looks *incredible,* I thought it looked great before but this is def a worthwhile upgrade!
for names i would suggest either Captain Flint or John Silver, specifically from Disney's movie Treasure Planet :) it's the first thing that comes to mind when i think of steampunk airships, and it fits with the villager being a world explorer!
I’m so in love with this series I can’t stop watching and get so excited when I see a new upload! You Should name the star trader Aster! Meaning:Star; Flower. Aster is a gender-neutral name of Greek origin, meaning “star.” Aster is also a flower, named for its star-like appearance, and was considered sacred to the Greek and Roman deities. These ancient wildflowers are steeped in mysticism and have intriguing origins
I am so happy to see the tree being expended. I loved the original tree but it did indeed feel a little off. For the open space underneed the tree I think maybe you can make some big magical mushrooms or other type of ground coverage as you could imagine that maybe the ground has some magical substance in it. I always thought the proportions of the tree top was off but you worked so hard I wasn't going to comment that. After all, there is no way I could do what you did. This fix took a long time but it was so worth it. This made the tree perfect and I can't stop looking at it.
I'm grateful that Fwhip is so straightforward as a creator, it's so refreshing to come in and see the process as it unfolds, explanations on why everything is being done the way it is and why he does certain things for the sake of better art for us as his viewers, and it's honestly just so sweet. I fall asleep to his 1.16 steampunk series and I love to rewatch hardcore and hardcore skyblock. You're doing great, Fwhip! 🎉
I thought of an interesting name for a villigare, and that would be "Doctor Stellar". I think it would fit and make him a backstory of an underrated scientist that had a dream of constructing such vechicle and being closer to stars. Nobody thought he could achieve that but now he is flying above the city of the people that mocked him, just looking down on them.
I'm usually a silent watcher, not really commenting on many videos but this build is genuinely incredible! The amount of time, love and care that goes into each project and video is so inspiring to see and it makes me want to get back into building in minecraft again! Love your vids
Time really goes fast right? When fwhip said he made the world tree on may 2022, it makes me feel like i just time traveled. I've been following this series since episode 1 and i can't believe it' already been 2 years. I'm proud of your progress fwhip, keep it up❤
I've started treating my minecraft projects like I do my art projects: I have a few going at a time, one big and a few smaller ones. Having those smaller projects to take a break with while slugging through the big one makes the mental drain so much easier to deal with and keeps you from hating the big one so much.
Absolutely amazing! An idea for the open space is maybe a graveyard? I don’t think you’ve built any graveyards in this world, and it makes complete sense to me. But yeah, amazing builds as always, I will catch YOU on the Fwip-side :]

Yayyy finally world tree has the glory it deserves! Awesome job fwhippy! Also, i was lookinf at the world aesthetic whilst you were building and i was thinking: what about building howl's moving castle moving over the mountain? That could be kind of a cute little (well, technically not so little) easter egg? ❤❤
The world tree is *incredible,* the patience needed to build something that big and put down all the string is nuts, hats off to you-- Name suggestions for the star trader; Stella Constantine Astra Estelle
I think a cool addition in that new open space could be some sort of ritual / worship spot in honor of the tree, to kind of tie in how important it really is to the citizens of the city.
Hey fwip, what about doing some roots popping out at random locations around the city? I think it makes sense for the size of the tree and it will make it fell like it hugs the entire city
With all of this leaf farming maybe you could build a lumber village with different tree farms. And they could export their wood across the whole world so then different wood accents in different biomes are connected to lore :)
Atlas you could name the star trader librarian 'Atlas' the mythical titan that holds up the sky, and I wanna say there was also a scholar type dude named Atlas, so that name Atlas works for a library type villager at the world height, near the stars as the achievement name suggests. tho I do admit the name Atlas would work better if the star trader was a cartographer, what with atlases being books of maps, and getting high up like that would be good for making maps. so its not perfect, but its still a good fit.
Crabs. People who vote armadillo will use the dog armor once, let the dogs sit in base and complain about how bad this mob vote was. Crab will be usefull for builders, even if its just 1 block extra
You should turn the big empty space underneath the tree next to the city in a sort of magical park, with large acorns and magic areas and perhaps a ritual center or two?? i think that would be a super cool way to incorporate the magic of the tree into the city
Two things: 1. You have an overworld tree and an end tree, so now all you need is a nether tree lol 2. If you put string ontop of a growing pitcher plant before it gets to become two blocks tall you can make a field of onions!
What to add in the place of the trees, on the foot of the gigatree... maybe a temple, to represent the worship of the people who live there for the gigatree? Awesome video btw, I don't think I could handle a grind like this.
I am actually so glad you decided to go back and fill out the tree more. It looked good as is, but I too thought it could be a bit more full up top. Looks great!
Polaris could be a cool name for the star trader since he's a traveler and travelers use the north star, Polaris, as their guide. That tree glow up though! :D
Since trees are such a big part of ur world with this tree and the end tree i feel like u should do some sort of "special" tree in the desert town as well. Also another thing that would be really cool would be like an abandoned town with a dead tree instead
Over 500 days of work have went into this project!!! And well over 100,000 blocks!! Please be sure to leave a like on this episode as I've now completed the largest build I've ever made in hardcore minecraft!! Thank you for all the support
Hey I was first uwu
Keep up the great work!!!
Fwhip just an Idea, use froglights to add glowing veins to the glass I'd be such a great detail
Yo fwhip if ever bored ect I ask that you add a little kinda wagon that's a shop owner by Jim the trader or smthing
fill the empty space you made at the end with custom magical forest !
In that new open space, You should add some giant acorns or fallen fruit from the tree ! If they’re magical you could add some light source blocks to them to help off set the darkness created by the branches
that’s a fun idea!
The tree looks absolutely incredible! I think it would be amazing to add some sort of small temple or sanctum somewhere near the base of the tree. I think it would tie in well with the lore already in this world too!
he already has a sort of shrine looking at the tree but a shrine directly infront would be cool
Lore🎉
As someone who was always bothered by the original proportions the new canopy is a massive improvement! I understand why it took so long to finish I don’t think I would ever have the patience to place that many leaves. Great job!
The fact that I watched this series since day 1 is trully such an amazing experience. I'm so proud of you fwhip!!!
Watched this one and the older one completely too.i nean i was already there when it was built.

1. You have an overworld tree and an end tree, so now all you need is a nether tree lol
I really appreciate all the effort to expand the tree! It is such an awful grind but looks so amazing at the end!
The wide canopy of the tree looks great. Given you now have airships in the air, you need an airport and a coaling station.
35:42 this needs to be a place of worship.... LOOOOORE
I feel like Constantine would be a pretty fun name for Star Trader because he is now a constant presence in his little ship c:
wow🔥 your awesome building style is an inspiration for my channel... your builds are just beautiful!
Since trees are such a big part of ur world with this tree and the end tree i feel like u should do some sort of "special" tree in the desert town as well. Also another thing that would be really cool would be like an abandoned town with a dead tree instead
