between the release of the last episode and this one, i managed to binge watch this ENTIRE series, and i'm OBSESSED!!! my friend introduced me to your content because she loves empires smp and the life series. i'm not a big fan of smp content, but i adore survival building stuff!! this series makes me so happy, you're doing a great job fwhip!!
For more decoration you could add honeycomb blocks or something similar on palms you're building which would represent date clusters growing on them. Dates have always been a really common product grown in Egypt
Thank you fwip, I can't get enough, I'm stuck in a hospital room right now so your videos really help get through this better and put a smile on my face
I think someone in another video commented but for the camel sanctuary, replace the cactus with melons and maybe green bamboo blocks to have stand in cactus that won't hurt the camels :D you can have potted cacti to keep them in there in some form
I think somewhere under the fantasy tree would be really cool for the axolotls! maybe a lush grotto with a natural spring? make it feel really magical and make the water glow, maybe? to give it more context within the story of the world, there could be an area for worship, almost like a shrine
This is my favorite project of yours so far!! A few ideas for future additions: You could add things like pueblo houses, houses built into the sides of hills and mountains, and round shaped thatch roof houses as those are all very common in desert village locations! Packed mud would be a super good block for that as well :D Another thing could be artificial rivers/canals where the villagers divert the rivers into aquifers for easier access within the cities! If you wanted, you could also make a region for things like burial pyramids (not all of them were as big as Giza either!), big cultural ceremonies with a palace of some sort as well! The regions for the upper classes could have a lot more greenery as that is a huge sign of wealth in desert regions. Just a few ideas!
Nothing like a good fWhip video at the end of a long day, always such a delight! As for the nether roof hub, it might be cool to see a bit of verticality in the build, like maybe some taller towers and archways over the main roads or something
Watching your videos has inspired me to tackle some larger, themed builds. I just spent about 3 weeks building a sprawling medieval village in an acacia biome (i thought the natural muted color worked well) Idk how you make all this look so easy. Granted, rhis was my first time trying something so ambitious. My next project is out on the nearby warm ocean, just built up some artificial islands and a pirate shanty and boat.
That Sound Amazing! I would love to see it... I feel so inspired after bingeing fwhip for hours That I am tackling a year old project (Oh boy...) I wish you good luck on the ocean project? Ahoy matee???😅
Your colorblind - ness became apparent when you used acacia and cherry together…orange and pink?? And then somehow you made it look really good and natural…wizard.
I think the sea pickle in the pot is so cute! It fits so perfectly, it looks like a little cork or something! That could really be useful for decorating ideas
For the axolotl spot you should use one of those mountains near the river, make a little waterfall that runs off into it and create a cave behind it that the axolotls can live in
hey fwhip just a cool idea. what if theres a large statue of a goddess who has her hands together with water pouring out? like an ancient deity saw the people struggles and gave them water and turned their desert lush. it could be on top of a fountain with the water running into the river and candles. i know that you usually dont like building religious things but this i think could be an exception as it could be like a city centre!
that could be something cool to go in! Maybe something like the obelisk I built over the creeper farm.. There already is some ancient civilization here I could work into it!
Another great video fWhip! Now that you have villagers in the fishing village maybe you could completely the interiors to make the ultimate ambiance. That way every block in the village will be perfectly thought out :)
Hey fWhip, I’ve been here since the start of season 2 and I just wanna say that I love your content. You get me through tough time and I’m always so excited when you post a video. Thank you so much!
With spooky season fast approaching, would you consider building a mod gothic and sinister castle or manor? It could be in the nether hub or back in the main world. A really cool idea for the desert would be to add some sort of sculpture that lead into a treasure cave like from Aladdin!
That was very good that you're expanding New Papyrus with that massive village and being natural to this biome also more villager roasting. "No Axolotls were harmed during their explosive death".
Next time u need some stripped wooden logs, try holding left and right mouse click at the same time as you chop the tree, works the same as converting concrete. So you dont need to rechop every log :)
PLEASE READ. I love the world but for a future project i think you should consider building more dwarvin and elvish builds like the dwarvin cave, middle earth is a great fantasy world so you should keep your fantasy one going with lord of the rings stuff like a (Hugh Dwarvin kingdom underground)
i like the comment of the day idea! ive been watching building w fwhip recently, and i was wondering if youd ever do something like that again! im glad youre considering it !:)
You should put a beach area made for relaxing/ vacations from the main land lol perhaps even a resort location as it could explain how some of the money comes in to the area, tourist town!!
Would you ever consider making videos explaining how to build the different speices of custom tree in your world, and maybe even how to build in the different build styles throughout the world on Fwhiptwo?? I'd love too see how you make these different things, they all look so amazing
You should try adding in some sand dunes at the edge of the seaside, with like the grass patches on top of the dunes. Also check out burullus lake, it’s sort of like a large lake at the edge of the Nile enclosed by a sandbank from the ocean. The lake is sort of like a marshy wetland, and the sandbank has some salt manufacturing on it through the use of these neat multicolored pools of water that evaporate. Those sandbanks that seperate the lakes in that environment in Egypt are also often full of tiny little farms. Lake manzala is another example of this to check out on google earth. Unfortunately a lot of the historic geography of the Nile delta is now lost due to sea level rise and a decreasing flow due to the Aswan dam. Oh another neat detail btw is that at the edges of the ocean (such as where you built all those boulders) the ocean spray and waves will often leave water that flows down the beach making little channels or temporary creeks. They’re called “runnels” and “swales”. They’re a really neat addition for beaches.
I just slammed the pause to shout at my fiance how clever it was to use upside down stairs for the road to get the cobbled texture. Can't wait to use that in my desert town!
i would really like fWhip to make a bunny sanctuary just cuz i havent seen anyone do this idea and also those different colour bunnies would look so cute in a flower field like biome or even in the cherry blossom biome next to fWhips amazing build style >w
It would be super cool if you made these buildings super colorful and center their economy around coral dye and fish. Using main trading from The ocean! Thinking about the economic trade really helps for builds, as you already use! And in Egypt they were vibrant colors to combat the sun, the colors and stuff actually acted as a natural sun repellent! So it would be cool for more color to be incorporated
I love the village, fWhip!! I love all your buildings and I love how you add story and purpose to everything you build. It's really cool to see and it's really inspiring.
fWhip ,since your twite asking what you should build in your desert village I've been trying to come with an idea .After watching the video ,something hit me....something like an adventurer guild headcount like in Stardew Valley where brave fishermens and adventurers could gather into small fleets to protect commercial vessels or simple fishing boats.Imagine the sea near the dessert village is filled with dangerous sea creatures that threatens the boats thus needing protection for the comercial route. It's only a suggestion ,I hope it's a decent idea 😅
I think you could add water pipe, heres how to do that.First you placed a pot the place a blue glass pane above the pots then you can make the pipe using wooden fence. Then is done!
Had another idea to widen up the dwarven city entrance- what if- here me out- what if it was remnants of a broken pipe system from the dwarven city? Like a sewage system going up to the surface to the rivers? Just an idea LOVE YOUR VIDEOS FWIP They always make my dad and bring a smile to my face :D
Fundamentally what you did with the Axolotls can be based in the fact that with your current resources, you aren't able to simple redistribute all of them across the world. A real life phenomenon of it being cheaper and easier to just kill them.
The village looks great! It looks so much better than old papyrus and old papyrus looks good. Question: How do you come up with the shapes for the buildings? I always struggle to come up with a interesting shape for buildings so i usually spent much of my time building to just come up with an interesting shape.
For any curious or struggling with the same issues. Villagers may not breed in your village if you have no crops planted with composters nearby. That’s the only thing he was missing so I think that’s the reason.
i think this is the earliest i've been to watch a new episode. also, i entirely blame you for my sheep and cows now residing in walled-in pastures instead of dinky fence boxes.
my favorite way to deal with villagers is just make a breeder underground and bubble-column the babies up to the top!! works really good (maybe a little too good, the village got populated FAST 😂)
Here’s a super weird idea for you. I know you said you’re trying to work on building things you don’t necessarily do, trying things like boats! And it’s all super cool! So I thought maybe you want to try, somewhere out in the water, building a diplocaulus organic! There’s sort of a desert area on one of the maps in Ark Survival Evolved that really reminds me of your harbour and there’s a bunch of diplocaulus’s swimming around so I thought it could be a fun extra detail! It adds a fun challenge, a smaller organic, plus with things like the sniffer, it adds that little prehistoric touch! Also you could say it was like a ancestor to the Axolotl, explaining why there are axolotls in the city but only the rare few diplocaulus’s in the harbour/ocean? Just some cool worldbuilding details as well as an organic challenge!!
There could be a water distillery where salt water is turned into fresh, clean, drinking water. It doesn’t rain much in the desert so that could be a good way to get some good old h2o
Hope you enjoy today's episode building up this new fishing village!! I really love how it turned out!
Hello fwhip how are you?
Yes
Good work making it to 5000 days! Love you’re content
Hey fwhip,In the well there are some stairs that aren't waterlogged
Yes it was amazing
For the axolotl you could create a almost mythical/magic spring under the fantasy tree
I hope he picks your idea
yes please
We had almost the same idea ❤ under the fantasy tree is perfect😊
Omg LOVE this idea
Cypress were very common back in egypt - it was the wood most commonly used for sarcophagi! Would you consider maybe planting some in the desert?
No
Lmao
Good idea
Everyone like this so fwhip can see it
@@ArmadilloArmada My bad. lol. Thanks for letting me know!
The stone buttons as shells are a great idea. I think you could add cherry blossom buttons as pink shells to add some variation.
I was thinking that too also with the nether wood buttons too!
Actually, almost every type of button can be a shell

This desert project is so cool. Everything looks so natural! Good job fwhip❤
Thanks so much! 😊
@@fWhip ga ga ga go to give
For more decoration you could add honeycomb blocks or something similar on palms you're building which would represent date clusters growing on them. Dates have always been a really common product grown in Egypt
Maybe blocks of raw iron ore!
14:02 Pickle on Pot < Moss on Log
Love New Papyrus
Thank you fwip, I can't get enough, I'm stuck in a hospital room right now so your videos really help get through this better and put a smile on my face
Hope your recovery goes well! :)
I think someone in another video commented but for the camel sanctuary, replace the cactus with melons and maybe green bamboo blocks to have stand in cactus that won't hurt the camels :D you can have potted cacti to keep them in there in some form
5:52 the fact that this sketch is over a video is so extra and amazing. I see your effort fwhip, we’ll done 🙌🏻
the poor bunny at 4:19-4:22 trying to hop over one black of sand.

I've never been so early to a release, but I've been loving this series. glad you're rested and recharged after vaca and excited to see more \o/

Damn fWhip, I thought I knew most building techniques by now, but you surprised me with multiple new ones! Amazing builds fWhippety! 👏👏
Yay fwhip video on my birthday best birthday ever thanks for making my day better
For the axolotl spot you should use one of those mountains near the river, make a little waterfall that runs off into it and create a cave behind it that the axolotls can live in
Craving more waterwheel builds! Love the series, only hardcore series I’ve never gotten bored of!
22:56 huh huh... salty sea spray
hey fwhip just a cool idea.

Hey fWhip, I’ve been here since the start of season 2 and I just wanna say that I love your content. You get me through tough time and I’m always so excited when you post a video. Thank you so much!
Glad to hear you're on the other side of it!
I was legitimately impressed with the sea pickle in a pot
Fwhip can you build a cemetery in your world. Nothing too big, but something like what you’d find in Zelda Ocarina of Time. Thank you ❤
SEA PICKLE IN A POT !!! (this sentence will be stuck inside my head all week).
With spooky season fast approaching, would you consider building a mod gothic and sinister castle or manor? It could be in the nether hub or back in the main world. A really cool idea for the desert would be to add some sort of sculpture that lead into a treasure cave like from Aladdin!
The fact I just hung up a call to come watch the video the second a notification went off 😂
Your builds are just so beautiful. I always walk away from your videos feeling inspired.
1:14 Oh wow you actually did it. I applaud your sacrifice!
I have been absolutely loving this series so far! I love your desert builds and how far they've come since Papyrus
Im so glad i found your channel. Your videos are so much fun, and everything looks so great!
That was very good that you're expanding New Papyrus with that massive village and being natural to this biome also more villager roasting. "No Axolotls were harmed during their explosive death".

really big fan of the tree at 17:01

"Discovery Channel go!!" 😂😂😂😂
My favorite MC TH-camr of all time. Always getting excited whenever I see another upload from ya fWhip
The amount of effort put into new papyrus is insane. Everything is taken care of. So cool
Hi Fwhip! Loving the desert build style.
I’ve rewatched 14:02 three times now and I still have no idea what he says😂😂😂😂
"purple" he says, as he picks up pink axolotls - pink clay moment, if You know You know
technically it's "Leucistic" so it's fine. totally fine. definitely fine XD
Why is the red mushroom and birch road so satisfying to watch, like red road nightmare turned subtle fancy desert road so satisfying 🥰

This is looking so amazing. Very inspirational 💙 its making me want to build in a desert

whoa, that trick for using upside down sandstone slabs to get the rough texture on top is genius!
The best minecraft series on YT, only one I watch these days
You know it a good day when fwhip uploads
love how we’re just ignoring the war crime within the first minute
Looking good fwhip, I love the desert building style !
I just slammed the pause to shout at my fiance how clever it was to use upside down stairs for the road to get the cobbled texture. Can't wait to use that in my desert town!
Love the project so far ! Are you planing to build big dunes in this desert valley, would be so cool and break the monotony of the desert biome !
i would really like fWhip to make a bunny sanctuary just cuz i havent seen anyone do this idea and also those different colour bunnies would look so cute in a flower field like biome or even in the cherry blossom biome next to fWhips amazing build style >w
Awesome video like always fWhip! & i think you might need a third bed in the room for a baby villager to jump on in order to breed
One of my favorite things about Minecraft is world building so your videos just scratches my brain
It would be super cool if you made these buildings super colorful and center their economy around coral dye and fish. Using main trading from The ocean! Congrats on 5000 in hardcore! Your new village looks really dope, I could really use some inspiration for my desert area
I love the village, fWhip!! I love all your buildings and I love how you add story and purpose to everything you build. It's really cool to see and it's really inspiring.

No axolotls killed, sure. Stats never lie 😁 Buuut are we going to talk about the 1 allay kill? No? Okay. 😂
uuhh.... it got in the way of my bow.. yeah.. yeah lets go with that
Are we just gonna ignore the Axolotl genocide? Ok.
14:03 kinda looks like a giant cork
im actually in love with your buildstyle.

You can actually use any mushroom block for the hidden pore texture. It doesn't have to specifically be red, it can be brown or white too.
I'm very excited for a a new magical tree in the desert or whatever your amazing mind can conjure as a magical landmark.
The village looks great! It looks so much better than old papyrus and old papyrus looks good. Question: How do you come up with the shapes for the buildings? I always struggle to come up with a interesting shape for buildings so i usually spent much of my time building to just come up with an interesting shape.
Have you thought about using azalea leave for the trees? They look lush green no matter the biome they are in. Live your videos, keep up the grind!
Finally a fwhip hardcore episode
Really enjoying this city build very fun videos i love ur color palettes and the gardens your cities feel very original
Here from the future to say that this is a certified Fwhip classic
For the Nether Hub, if you expand it, expand it by bringing the Desert Village into the Nether. Make a ring that pays homage to the Desert Village!
4901 days in minecraft is about 69 real life days
You should put the axolotls in a pet shop in the Desert Village!! Like someone is selling exotic animals and pets that fit that desert vibe 🏜
Artificial shadows are such a good idea I love it and I'm stealing it :)
Eventually you should do a little pirate cove somewhere soooo much lore behind this idea!!
watching your videos gives me so much inspiration and ideas for my minecraft world! so much love
Whenever you think you've mastered building, fWhip uploads...
His motivation is so inspirational!
🤩🥹
Fwhip could always make a old timey Zoo ❤ for the all the animals
You should make a secret tomb! Or some kind of ruins with a cursed tomb or some kind of course underground to go through to get to the treasure/coffin
my favorite way to deal with villagers is just make a breeder underground and bubble-column the babies up to the top!! works really good (maybe a little too good, the village got populated FAST 😂)
