I thanked my step-grandma for it, and she said to thank my grandpa for paying for it. So I thanked my grandpa, and he said to thank my step-grandma for picking it out. So I got stuck in limbo.

I know this will get buried, but the part where Scott realized people hang around because they care really spoke to me. I have incredible anxiety and I always feel like everyone from my brother to my girlfriend only hangs around me out of pity, so to see someone else have those feelings, even if for a bit really moved me to tears and reminds me that if the people I love didn't love me, they wouldn't stay around.

3:37 I can see why people would say Scott is hard to shop for. Think about it. He collects video games which would lead you to wanting to get him a video game or something, but sense he's a collector you don't know what he already has unless you ask him and at that point the surprise is gone. However, giving him and extra copy of Wii Play or Madden 08 would probably work because it shows you've seen his videos and could be consider a thoughtful gift.

The trouble is everyone knows you love gaming, but unless you maintain a collection list somewhere, no one knows what games you already have, which makes it WAY harder to choose a game to buy you. Having a wishlist is of course very helpful for this reason as well.

It was pretty obvious he used a green screen... which considering Scott said on an AMA on Reddit that Will doesn't live in the same city as the rest of them anymore would imply Scott shipped Will a green screen just so he could include him again.

When I was a kid we had the Argos catalogue. Argos was like a catalogue shop, you would order stuff over the phone or just over the desk at argos, and go collect it like a week later. The catalogue was absolutely massive, and they had all sorts of stuff. Department stores truly aren’t much of a thing here in Ireland, and argos was like a catalogue department store and therefore very novel to me. One place that sells everything, and so conveniently? Incredible! The excitement of taking an Argos catalogue and cutting out what I want, then going into the store and asking them to order it for me is something I’ll always associate with Christmas. Unfortunately they left the country a few years ago, probably because they were just an older fashioned version of Amazon, but I believe they still exist in the UK.
