Well wasn't this a big turn out! Decided to film what pub street was like during halloween - the turn out was huge! However I am still struggling to find out why so many people turned up to see so little....maybe i just don't understand it.
Either way - it was great to see so many locals turn out and see so many businesses doing well for the night!

G'day champions! Well, I still don't understand what Halloween is all about or why so many locals turned up to wander around...but what an amazing sight to see this many people out and about in Pub Street! Also how rude was that one skeleton!!
G'day Marc & Kinal , so nice to see little Max out and about enjoying the Halloween festivities , he's growing up fast mate , and boy can he scamper , at my age , I can only move that fast when nature comes a calling ! 🤣
G'day Brian! Haha we had our work cut out trying to keep up with him on that night - he was even worse at the airport in Singapore...we needed a bloody leash! At least he is keeping us fit! Hoping you continue to move with speed when it counts most 😁 🚽 Cheers!!

I'm a little sad Marc I missed you by a few days. That would of been a fun night. The rest of the time I was there it was dead
J J Ahh bugger! Yeah as we left there were a few people that were arriving! Agree this was the most packed we have seen Pub Street in a long time. Although normal trading has improved a bit on last year its still got a ways to go doesn't it..

Hey Chandy!! Yeah the Khmers really go all in with the celebration! Not so much the dressing up though! Not sure about the getting smashed part...maybe that was after our bed time they all tied one on 🤣🤣 🍻🍻
That crowd would do my head in, give me a balcony any day so i can watch them wander by, some of the ladies look " Aschar - (exquisite)" i guess they are Locals and Barang?

Halloween comes from Samhain, a Celtic holiday. Not “American.”
Ah there you go! Thanks for the info Jeremie! I suppose in Australia we got all of this American TV since way back when, including all of the Halloween specials as well - which were all about dressing up and trick or treating. So lot of us Aussies associate it back to that.
