Great job as usual! Running Han Green with ECL is so inefficient, there is 0 upside; especially with all the Ambush available for the deck
Thanks! I completely agree with you. I have been playing Han Green a decent amount, and I would definitely not feel comfortable with a 25 hp base.
If I had to do it over again, I definitely would play a 30 HP base.

Actually in Game 2 there was a huge misplay. On Turn 4 (6 Ressources, due to ramp) Ryan used Vader Heropower to lower Chewbaccas hitpoints to 5 and deal 1 Damage Base. He couldnt have done that. Traiterous is a mono-green card and Vader needs a villiany Card played in order to activate the heropower. Not super likely it would have changed the outcome but for sure it had changed that turn.
You are absolutely correct. Someone else pointed this out as well. It was just something missed by both players.
You’re right of this being a huge misplay with high consequences as this one damage on Chewi prepared Vader’s ambush next turn to defeat it; otherwise the play from Ryan may be different as Vader unit couldn’t remove Chewi ( if that play continues Han Solo unit could stay at least another turn and make more damage).
@@jsanche33 It would have been interesting for sure to see the play lines if this mistake had not been made.

hei quick question i know my dad collects star wars: unlimited - spark of rebellion but they are sold out
but i see that star wars: unlimited - shadows of the galaxy is coming out
my question i guess is if its the same thing like could i just by the new one or are they not at all comparable or the same ?
Shadows of the Galaxy is the next set coming out and is expected to release on July 12th. Most of the cards in the next set (Shadows of the Galaxy) will be brand new, but there will be some cards that are reprinted from the first set (Spark of Rebellion). Both sets are compatible with one another. You can collect and play with cards from both sets. I hope this helps!

Am I seeing this wrong? It looks like the Han Solo guy is keeping his resources and not discarding one like the ability says
It appears as though he did forget to defeat a resource at least once. Thankfully it did not change the outcome of the match.
Another good one! I found the Han deck a little imbalanced, not least with ECL, I don't think it provided much value. Vader Command can be oppressive if it can ramp to 7x.
Thanks! I agree with your assessment. ECL does not do much at all for Han. This matchup definitely seems tough for Han, as Vader just dominates in the late game.

I didn’t see the falcon tax be paid once
I went back and watched closely. Jeremy remembered to pay it the first two times but then forgot once the Devastator was in play. It did not appear to have any effect on the game. Once the Devastator was in play, the Falcon just sat there doing absolutely nothing. It could have easily just been returned back to hand with no difference in the outcome.
@@Next-GenGamingSC there was one round where he did use all his recources and wouldn’t have been able if he had paid the tax. Yes he could’ve returned it but the point is he didn’t…

I don’t understand why Ryan didn’t use Vaders epic action and get him out on the field game 1. He could’ve won earlier
He deployed Vader as early as he could in the first game, on seven resources. You must have seven resources before you can bring Vader out.

Man that han deploy turn in game 2 was played awful by jeremy. Wasted a card using han leader ability that he never needed. He could of safely deployed han leader first to take out the echo base to allow for han solo unit to take out vader unit.
While this game may not be on Jeremy's highlight reel, he did a fantastic job of coming back from an 0-2 start in the tournament!
WHY DID HE NOT CLAIM INITIATIVE IN GAME ONE WITH A LEIA AND 28 DAMAGE ON BASE???
Everything he *could* play just kills him and is irrelevant because if he does anything else, his opponent takes initiative and wins.
IF he claims, he just attacks base for 2 because Palp does NOT have Sentinel!!!!!!!
Why? Everything in this game is unblockable because there's no blocking!

If his opponent had removal, that's whatever, it just means he had zero way to win.
But claiming was his only out and he didn't do it.
It was a tough spot for sure. Ryan had multiple answers in his hand. You are right, though. Claiming and hoping your opponent doesn't have an answer is probably the best play there.

On 28 damage with a Leia out, when we go to next turn, I have initiative, and my first move is to attack the base directly.
Everything including Leia is totally unblockable, because blocking isn't a thing in this game.
So if my very first action is to attack the base, all the removal in the world doesn't matter because my opponent let himself get that low and let me claim.
@@Magidex So if Jeremy just claims the initiative after playing the Leia, Ryan still had all of his resources ready and five cards in hand. Once Jeremy claims the initiative hoping to swing with Leia next turn for game, Ryan would have played something to remove Leia. He had multiple cards in hand that would have dealt with Leia, and then he could attack on his first action the next turn to win. I hope this makes sense.

You cant use Vader ability after playing traitorous . Hard cheating .
This is an excellent point. I honestly missed this, and clearly the players did as well.
I do agree with @Moy, though. I do not believe it was cheating, just something that was missed.
It's just a minor misplay, it happens, it's not cheating.
In no way do I think my opponent was cheating here. He was a solid player, and pummeled me accordingly. We just both missed it.
Agreed, he wasn't trying to cheat. I just picked this game up myself and have noticed that you really have to pay attention to stuff like this though. The Luke deck I was playing against kept trying to add shields to units that didn't have the heroism trait.
@@Mayberrymojo Absolutely. I could see the confusion that would come up with Luke as well. His action ability only allows heroism units to be shielded, but once he is deployed, you can shield any unit.
why do people have to fidget their cards like that? It is the most anoying thing ever
It just seems to be a habit that a lot of competitive players pick up.
@@Next-GenGamingSCi’ve been in card games since i was a kid, and i’m constantly rotating my cards, don’t know when it’s started, but you just have to keep looking through just in case a new card appears in my hand.
@@tesla6938 I totally understand this. I find myself shuffling my cards sometimes as well. I try to be still, but I think it really comes down to a nerves thing.
@@tesla6938 I find find myself moving cards a bit myself. I believe that it becomes such a habit that sometimes you don't even realize you are doing it.
Guy can't figure out sentinel yikes
The sentinels were definitely giving Jeremy some problems in this match.
