I know everyone else is saying this, but I cannot overstate how above and beyond this commentary is compared to other SWU channels I’ve come across. Truly fantastic work mate, keep grinding and you’re going to see huge results.
This is actually the first time im invested in any game tournament and its only cause of the voice commentary xD Thank you for this! Keep up the good work ! PLEASE xD All the best
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I really do appreciate the support. It is so cool to see you and others really enjoying the content, as it has been a lot of fun for me to produce.
I know people already said it, but just to throw another one - fantastic commentary and honestly it's the best one out there. I appreciate that I can listen to it while doing so mindless tasks and still follow everything that's going on :D
I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Thank you so much for the kind words! it is very exciting to see people enjoying the content.
I definitely felt like it was a necessity, because not everyone knows exactly what each card does. Plus, it adds that nice bit of flare to the broadcast. I really appreciate the support!
I just wanted to say I've seen your other videos and think you do a great job. I saw this one and clicked immediately then I realized I never subbed, corrected that you definitely deserve it. Best tournament commentary I've seen so far only I just wish there was more!!
Yeah, Philipp is a great player. I gotta say I'd never run the 25hp base on Luke green, it's too much of a liability into this overall meta with a Luke leader imo.
Absolutely. Philip has proven to be a great player, and it has really been a joy to watch him pilot Luke. As for the base, I agree with you here. The 30hp seems to be the right choice.
So at 4:30 the 2nd player deployed his leader after the other player had already deployed his. In the rules it says only one player can take this action each round. A round is defined as after the action phases and the regroup phase a new round starts. I'm just trying to make sure this is the correct rules as I'm reading. I want to be able to play the game correctly and to the best of my ability.
There are no restrictions to deploying your leader as long as you have enough resources in play. Both players can deploy their leader in the same 'round' or 'turn' as long as they have enough resources to do so. Thanks for stopping by, and I will be happy to help in any way I can!
Great games! In game 2 I wanted to see Daniel's Luke unit give leader Luke -6/-6. Then he could have brought out his own leader Luke to kill the imposter and have total dominance. =-)
I believe you are referring to game one when Philip played the Luke Skywalker unit off U-Wing Reinforcement? In that situation, Luke did not attack Restored Arc. Luke's 'when played' ability gave the Arc -6/-6, which was enough to defeat it.
It is interesting that you mentioned this, because when I was doing the commentary for this video, I had this exact thought come up. Thanks for the advice! I will work on making sure to use other adjectives.

Love the commentary. I'm a noob, and the commentary helps me understand what's going on in easy to understand yet precise language.

I love how you show a close up of the card that is being played....makes the game much easier to follow. Great commentary also. Subbed.

Learning this game and the commentary is helping. Total pro.

Philip is off to a great start for sure. Thank you for the support!

Good content, thank you for sharing it.
Will we have the top 8 matches? I want to see that Iden in action.
Best regards.
You're welcome!
Yes, I will have the top cut matches as well. The final two matches will feature the Iden deck.
Great Video! Keep it up 🙂
Thank you!
Escort Skiff is a BIG TECH
Absolutely. Philip running three copies tells me it was very important in testing.
I love watching Phillip
The man can certainly pilot a Luke deck!
Great games! In game 2 I wanted to see Daniel's Luke unit give leader Luke -6/-6. Then he could have brought out his own leader Luke to kill the imposter and have total dominance. =-)
That would have been great! There was all kind of Luke madness going on in this match. 🤣
Awesome.......
Thanks!
The ECL is such a liability with this deck. Definitely a fan of the generic
I agree with you. The 30hp base definitely seems to be putting up better results with Luke.
How could Luke defeat the Arc? I thought ground units could only attack other ground units

@@NextGenGamingSC ah okay. I didn't knew that a unit can be defeated like that. Thanks for the answer :)
@@DrunkByBlood You're welcome!
Why does that guy not use the sixth side of his dicr
I am honestly not sure. I think this is probably just a personal preference to count by 5's.
One piece of advice: you use the word "big" too often.
Still, a great channel and a great comment :)
