Hi! How to reprogram a bcm to remove code u1000 u3000? (Ranger 2016, headlights issue). Ford wants me to change the module but I’ve seen it can just be reprogrammed.. no one does it where I live. Thought of learning to do it. Thank you in advance.
I need to do the exact same things u do in this vid for a 2010 ford escape..I got a maximus 4.0 and iprog with laptop so i should have the tools to do it what all do i need to use software wise
I have ford c-max plug-in hybrid enegri, pcm had some error. i replaced , but pcm was form not plug-in c-max, so car don't charge( but items p/n and h/w in the same). Can programming fix it?
I wish i could say yes, normally the plugin system is related to the high voltage side while the pcm is related to the 12v side. The 2 sense wires which tell the obc that the vehicles charging along with the relay systems are the only thing on a low voltage. you can always try, ford likes to use one pcm with different configurations so its easy to replace parts with a little programming. hopefully this helps.
Right please verify something for me... I installed a doner ecu, called auto locksmith to code my old keys to car but he never changed the vin number to match my car.. is it a case of keeping the same part number thats on the ecu ie (pcm AL8A-12A650-BRJ) but change just the vin number through the same setup youre doing? I got told to download the as built data for my vin from ford and write this to the ecu but then im scared if my car doesnt start because of keys not working with it again and then having to pay another £100 to get keys done again.
so there are 3 ways to do this- 1 follow the steps in the video- 2-perform a pmi(programmable module installation) if the module is available in the pmi section.(old module is needed)- 3 perform an as built data install, the numbers can be added manually with a decent scan tool or if you are using this tool it will be done automatically when prompted. @@JLsAutoSolution Thanks for the reply. so Ford IDS will work? For some reason I can get my vcm2 to work with Ford IDS but Mazda IDS will not detect it. From everything I have read Ford and Mazda IDS cannot be installed on the same computer. I've had to reinstall windows multiple times just to Try to get this computer programmed and I'm stuck. Ford IDS doesn't seem to recognize my 2012 mazda 3
@@Alobster1 that is correct. You cannot have Ford IDs and Mazda on the same computer. They actually have to be on two separate computers or two separate hard drives
The Programmable sata gets erased in some modules along with the vin number, so some modules need to be reprogrammed when replacing a pcm on ford vehicles. thanks for watching
yes it will but i suggest updating the software, inorder to do so contact all scanner and they will get back to you with all the proper programs. thanks for watching

download the newest software from motorcraftservice.com the buy a 2day subscription. use vxdiag or a j2534 device as a j2534 passtru, and have fun.

In my car a have err code P0420. I clean PCM by forscan by after a some time the problem return. Can you remove err P0420 from PCM module ?
you need dtc delete software. and some other things like checksum corrector ect.
