Just changed a Cross Traffic Module in a '17 Explorer. Hooked up ForScan, got the As-Built data from Ford via internet connection thru cell phone, wrote the data and the light went right out. Awesome & thank you the video. Helped me understand what I needed to do and I did it. 1st time, no issues at all.
Hey, a genuine thanks. I am always trying to learn. This information was very useful and I appreciate it. I don't speak computer as well as I'd like. Your explanation was helpful enough to find more resources. With resources comes confidence.
Very nice. I have been getting really frustrated with the rest of the Tube videos on FORscan. Some seriously challenged communicators, with few exceptions. What little I got out of most of them was clarified and organized with your refreshingly illuminating presentation. Maybe you can do a primer on getting started on FORscan, if it isn't too droll for your level of aptitude.
Good info. I have a bare bones XL that I want to disable the DRL's and enable the instrument cluster to light up when the truck is running.. This could be a great piece of info when Im testing out modules.
Amazing info Justin. Am really new to this Asbuilt Data stuff and you really cleared lot of doubts I have. But I have a question, where can I check which memory location represents which components? is the memory location name universal for all vehicles? am really looking to enable cruise control on my car, but am unable to figure out which memory location is of CC, kindly help me with this info
That's a good question Kiran! the memory locations are going to change vehicle to vehicle and unfortunately there is no real good location for finding out what is what. Most of the memory locations have been found out through trial and error and guys just keep running google sheets documents. Your best bet is to look up your vehicle name followed by "as built spreadsheet" on the forscan site and google
Hi.. did you figured out some thing to enable your required modification.. need some help to learn about this. Please give your details to contact you @ practicalgangu@gmail.com
Thanks for sharing. Were you able to identify the memory code for the RKE/RTM frequency? Trying to figure out how to change it from EU/GCC 415MHz to 315MHz US to avoid having to buy a fourth (433) key to get my remote start working. Bought a kit with two four button 315 keys but the buttons don’t work. 🤪
Hi and thanks for this information. I am getting a "violated terms of service" message when I try to access the mapped spreadsheet. Any idea where I can lay my hands on this document? Thanks.

Hi i do have a question, so i have an issue with my TCU on my 2019 ford ecosport, for some reason the ford pass wifi has been disabled and says its not installed anymore. Anyway i purchased forscan, went to check the as built data using forscan and it was completely different to what is currently in the TCU. I cant work out why this would be different? So i haven't done it yet. When the old module has had software updates from ford would this change the as built data? Does the as built data on motacraft site contain any updates? Or do software updates have no effect on as built data? Thanks for reading
i had to get a new DDM modul for my 2008 town car the old one broken but the one i got used don't have all the options my car has so i need to program more options to the module, do you know where do i get the codes for that? Or how do i extract the codes from my broken one to add it to the new used module? Thank you!
That's great info on how to get as built numbers. Now is there a way to download that list to your PC or just print a copy? Would be nice to have a hard copy of those numbers for your personel Ford vehicle.
Hello, thank you for great explanation. I would like to ask you if you have any experience with Focus ST170/SVT, I have ESP light on, so i want to know if i can find the problem with FORScan. I see you have many modules in motorcraft, but i have only pcm and bce... Do you have any ideas? Much appreciated
ForScan is able to read DTCs and should tell you what the issue is. Do you have an adapter that has a MS HS switch? Sounds like it's only getting modules in the HS bus.
@@jscholl57 Thank you for answer, unfortunately i dont have the one with switch... Shiping is about month and i need it this week, so i had to order without switch.
@@tadeasopen6050 ahh yea this is most likely why you are only seeing a few modules... I would take a look in the settings of ForScan. You may be able to set the CAN Bus speed manually and get access to the other modules
Hey Justin, I have a question that I think you'll be able to answer. I bought two signature lights for my Bronco. Passenger side has a control module, but the driver side did not. So I ordered a module and installed the headlights. The passenger side works fine and all functions of the light are correct and I'm assuming it's because the light came from a vehicle that was already configured. The driver side is screwed up... part of the LED doesn't light up, the high beams are always on, etc. If I go into as built and copy the values from the passenger side to the driver side, would that be a good way to get both lights working uniformly?
It's certainly worth a try! I would imagine most of the data is the same with the exception there might be small differences because there's a driver side versus passenger side. Without knowing too much how they work though I would think it would get you slightly closer.
Hi, very informative guide. In my case getting the whole default codes from the motorcraft page, I got a single list of codes with no paragraph or module, detached one by one, codes are all listed with no separation or references unlike it's seen on your guide. Is it possible to do something? It's not easy to understand which is which in my view. I got just numbers. Maybe they removed the module description and left only codes. Thanx
Hi thanks for the information .I have problem with my Focus rs 2016 in the rear diff control module it seems change the the data by itself each time i check it with Forscan , It comes up with a fault code (u3000-92 diff control module) and stops driving to the rear diff any help would be greatly appreciated

I bought the OBDLinkSX interface and registered on the ForScan forum to get the program. Great diagnostic tool! Soon I will try to upload new software to the PSCM module obtained from the link, a page on the forum.
