      @@bennieaust I have a 2023 Moto Guzzi v100 Mandello and a 2018 DR650 that I've totally moded but this summer I want to get a scooter. I like the xmax and BV400.

      @@derekperry9139 Nice collection! I would consider myself primarily a "motorcycle guy" but scooters are just awesome. It's a different kind of fun that a motorcycle can't deliver. The best scooter advice I can give you is to get one that's sized right for how you are planning to use it. Here in Belle Plaine I have to have one that will comfortably travel on 169 in the 65MPH zones. I absolutely leave town on it. On the flip side, a maxi scooter in the city will be substantially less fun than something small and nimble. For me the Smax really finds the middle ground. I'm also small, so I fit on it easily. The best part though, is that if you get something and it doesn't turn out to be the best fit, you just sell it and try again. :)

      Thanks DR Hayden!
      I’ve got a ridiculously long video coming up with clips covering my whole journey, as well as a video answering the question I received a lot, “what did I do to win”.

    You did not show off the ramp! That trailer is amazing and the built in slide out full ramp makes it even more so. Congrats on winning the Scooter Cannonball. Also a big thank you from VespaChef (me) and Gildod for the assistance on the second to last day. That made it possible for us to do the engine swap. Great set up on the SMax and yes going stock is an important key for doing the Cannonball. Endurance not sprint. You should also mention your support team. Again Bennie it was fun watching you be so successful in your first Cannonball. See you in 2025.

      Thanks VespaChef! Sorry I didn't show off the ramp. It's just the factory ramp (it is amazing!) so I didn't highlight it.
      You're welcome for the help! I had the easy part of just helping get it back. :) You guys put in the real work on the quick motor swap so Gilldo could hit the road the next morning! Nice work!!
      I will definitely be mentioning John, Carol & Wynn in upcomming Videos. There were a big part of my success.
      It was great to meet you and I look forward to seeing everyone next time around!!

    Congrats on your win. About tires, how many miles are you getting before a change is needed? Thanks

      Thanks! This is the first set of City Grips I've run, they have about 3500 miles and they look like I could easily do another scooter cannonball. I think my plan will be to put a new set on before the next cannonball and bring these as spares.

    I would like to know what model/ size givi top case you have on scooter.

      @bennieaust  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can’t recall the model and it’s a little older so they may not even make it anymore, but it’s a 46L case.
