Great info! Just heard about this from a friend last week and am considering heavily giving it a go in 25.
Really helpful for those of us considering a Cannonball. Thanks!
Love the post ride summary. You'll have the perfect pack next time - for the win!
Its our nature to over pack, I always do. Gotta have a backup ...thanks for the video. glad you had a good time
Another great tech/gear video, good job.
Good, interesting video, thank you Mr Pow.
I've actually used my battery jumper about a dozen times. Mostly as I had a weak battery and the replacement was delayed. However, twice I jumped someone else's scooter and once jumped a Ford SUV. Outside of that I pretty much agree with your observation. Nothing like a real life road trip to sort out the good from the bad.
Thanks for posting your round-up thoughts...on long trip's i used to wear those odd socks that always seem to lose its twin .I'd wear for a day and bin them that evening and also the same with older tshirts that just don't quite cut it anymore, wear for a day and bin ...my panniers had less in them everyday...just an idea 😊 Greetings from Northern Europe...Harry
Great idea!
Great Video!! When are we going to see that vintage trials bike in the vintage class STRA?
There was vintage trials yesterday in Aonia GA with AHRMA but I still don't have the Cub ready. Hopefully in 2024.
I still see the CT!
did you feel the need for a garmin GPS or did having a phone nav work? I assume there were areas with no cell service?
Great video. Any info on your handlebar bag ? Ease of use snd size
Amazon. It’s convenient however it did scuff up the paint. There’s a affiliate link in description
Great clip. Met a guy in Crossville, TN putting together a scooter adv route & thinking about getting one. Off topic: also live in Cola & about to ride Western TAT. How did you get your CT125 out there to meet Angelo?
Federal motorcycle shipping. I shipped to their warehouse in Albuquerque and flew in to get it. See Episode 1 of my Great Continental Divide Route series for a look at the pickup
You could also ship to their warehouse outside Denver
Likewise we dropped off at the warehouse in Medford to send them home
Perfect! Thx, man
LMK if you ever want to get together for a dual sport ride on SCAR, Enoree, etc.
Have they announced the start/stop locations yet?
Not yet. Probably not until next summer. Next one is in 2025
Johnny, Where did you rent the Himalayan for the WYBDR? I am looking for a place that will rent a dual sport. Thanks.

@@JohnnyPowRides Thanks
Didn’t you take (or shipped it with the scooter) a Rabaconda tire out there? Guess you shipped it home?
My wife met me at the finish with my truck
What rumors have you heard for the SC2025 route?
gulf coast area of TX/LA to Seattle area possibly
@@JohnnyPowRides Sounds like a great route.
