Scooter Cannonball Run - Advice For New Riders

Here is a list of 10 things/tips that might help you be better prepared to do the scooter cannonball run.
1. Get a fast bike. You need to be able to keep up.
2. Go slow in small towns. Avoid speeding tickets.
3. Stay at the event hotel each night.
4. Know how to change your tires, belt, rollers, air filter, oil.
5. Get to starting line 2 days early.
6. Bring an air mattress if you are going to share accommodations.
7. Stay on the main route.
8. Leave every day early.
9. Parts of the run are dangerous, be prepared for a break down in a remote location. Ride according to the conditions (gravel vs paved roads)

It was fun to hear about your learnings. I need to write it down so that in 2023 I will have a list of items which I need to make sure I bring and not bring. I had way more items than I needed for the ride. Good stuff Stephen!!

I watch my friend who did the cannonball run and I decided not do the cannonball because I am diabetic & disability! But some time in future I be taking long trip by scooter!
