      Vince Del Monte the biggest takeaway here is next time you do an interview- shut up with all the “uh huh” “yeah” - damm Vince so amateur. Watch Mark Bells interview with Stan next time or anyone else for that matter so we can have at the least a bearable time listening to Stan. Fucking idiot 👈

      "Stan Efferding is so hot right now !..." ( refference to a line from Zoolander movie part 1) . Lamb minced meat 23% fat every day and i see my delts and arms becoming rounder from 1 training, about 4-5 sets each, only one exercise. But i take my potassium from kale &banana shake, plus i'm a salt person. Zero sugar.

      @@joebueno619 i think the " a ha " "yeah" are very well placed in the interview- you want to show that each idea is received and understood. It is not annoying at all. Actually when we talk, many of my friends only respond " i understand" or something...but not as often as Vince - thats why at important points i have to ask them: " you know?" " are you aware of this?" - people are fucking lazy and not entertaining in conversations in the latest years-then, when you find someone like Vince, it is refreshing, definitely not boring. I wish i had a friend like him to listen to each idea and respond.

    For those of you wondering, the diet does work. Same as keto, IF, paleo, etc. This isn't special. Stan always mentions that.
    It's another diet that works for a lot of people based on food choice. It's great for minimizing particular health issues like heartburn/GERD, or insulin sensitivity, plus hits in key aspects of a diet that go untouched for performance (I.e sodium intake, sleep, supps).
    This isn't magic. But it works. I've tried keto, paleo, IF, and several other diets, but this has been the best one FOR ME.
    I can answer some questions about it if anyone has them. I have been doing it for a while. Went from 6'2 228lbs down to 214lbs, now back up to 226lbs at a lower bf and feeling much better.

      Thanks for the info. I wanted to buy it, but its 100$ . Can you tell me what Stan recomends for thin people? I m 15 kg under the normal weight of an average man- i was not eating when i was a kid, only 1 meal a day and i had insomnia. I started with rice and red meat , more salt , and put about 800 gr to 1 kg in 7 days. Thanks in advance.(I will buy the vertical diet, i hope in 1 or 2 months)

    • @richardclemens9261
      @richardclemens9261 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buying it gives you a living breathing source of information. As Stan learns ways to adapt it for the better he is making improvements. Make sure you’re getting high calories and eating every 3-4 hours to gain weight. I’m in the same boat as you, and with this diet plan I’ve went from 142 to 177 lbs.

    I’ve watched a fair share of Stan’s interviews and one thing I’ve always wondered that as far as I can tell he hasn’t really addressed before was how many people actually get into that vertical aspect of his diet. As a smaller guy who I think even then needs to come down a bit before trying to up the calories, I always thought “how many calories make up this horizontal aspect?”. When you hear people like Dan Green talk about how much steak and rice they eat to make up the rest of the calories, you think that’s the main component, but this is the first time I’ve heard Stan say “not many make it onto the vertical axis”. If you’re someone eating maybe 200g of carbs a day, if you’re eating a daily potato, 9-12oz of OJ, dairy, maybe some cranberry juice for the iodine, that’s not a lot of carbs left to devote to white rice.

    • @ryanturner8577
      @ryanturner8577 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mass portion you eat close to 1000g of carbs.

    • @x3huesos
      @x3huesos 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You d ont have to eat an exact amount of rice, especially if your trying to lose. The main purpose of the rice us something that digest super quick if you have stomach problems or for after workout or just to be able to eat alot to GAIN weight. You can easily just do a 4 ounce glass of orange juice twice a day one post workout and get one with added calcium and along with a multi be okay with no dairy product. And since you don't need the rice you can replace the rice with the potatoes I have steak potatoes broth some days heavy training days and and steak broth squash and carrots the majority of the week. Oh and get the more expensive PURE cranberry juice you don't need to drink as much if that or maybe just increase the salt with iodine to have less cranberry juice too or supplement. I don't think stan thinks supps are best but if your trying to prep for a show and it's temporary okay. Maybe just supplement during that period. Or cycle in those foods on any higher calorie days. Oh but I have stomach problems so sometimes the potatoes bother me so I'll have rice instead for a day or two.

      heres a sensible non wackjob answer, burn more calories than you consume lift weights and try to make healthier choices. Don't get stuck on these weird "ways of eating", like keto, atkins, vegan, high carb, low carb etc. Calories are the primary driver of weight loss or gain. use an app like my fitness pal to find out your caloric needs and go from there making gradual changes. DO NOT get into fads or trends.

      You need magnesium, potassium and lots of water. Eat alot of Beef Liver. One gram of protein per lean muscle mass. Try to drop 1000 calories a day and keep it at a steady 3000 calories. Fast in between heavy protein meat eating. Mix up with protein oatmeal, pancakes, and granola cereal. Only eat lean red meat. Try Elk, Bison and Salmon.

Ive watched an interview with Frank Zane and the interviewer was saying..." yes. ...it's interesting " . (Boring and sounds fake) I have to say its kind of weird to not like the "yeep" .... its really nice, man, to talk to someòne that understands you and shows you that. Other people just stay there and you have to ask them: " are you following this? Is this boring for you? ". I guess its a matter of taste.
