Thanks for the mentioning my tutorials, that was a very nice surprise. Shame that the star system packs I recommended didn’t work out (but I did actually uninstall the low light levels packs and blinding light levels because they were too awkward and incompatible with spacedust (something that affects every star system pack I’ve found except Kcalbeloh) and I would like to get more star system packs that are compatible with spacedust) Anyway, truly great video which nicely covers everything I would describe as KSP2 content (except for the Sterling Systems mods which I recently discovered, and they complement far future tech and Kerbal Atomics perfectly with more interesting interplanetary engines and 3 new interstellar engines (2 sizes of Daedalus engines and an antimatter engine that makes the FFT engines look inadequate because it has a specific impulse of over 10 million seconds and the potential for craft with 9 digit delta vs (over 100 million m/s) with 50% more thrust than the mammoth engine) along with various cool parts like wrapper heat shields which can be attached to mk2 and mk3 cockpits and liquid droplet radiators up to 180m long
Yeah of course Javelyn! Your tutorials really helped me learn how to get started with Far Future. And yeah some of those systems are really really cool, especially the light levels series, The strange worlds pack was also really really cool. They had some sort of issue where the scatterer configs weren't working right with the most recent scatterer release, causing the atmospheres to be the wrong colors & I don't know enough about how scatterer works to try and fix it myself :(. Maybe sometime I will go back and try to find the older versions they work on and make a video on how to get them to work. They're still really high quality, they just need like one last update to get them up to modern scatterer & eve. I was talking with exo's planet lab about getting a scatterer config going for MPE, that sort of thing probably needs to happen for the honorable mentions as well. All that new tech from Sterling systems, & Kerbol Atomic, sounds really awesome though, Maybe I will do a part 3!! Thank you for the comment & info!!
Thanks for shouting out my videos. Nice to see someone appreciating my videos even tho I am not making them up to the standards most youtubers do. Also wasen't expecting them to do as well as they did view wise.
Bogue, I recommend using Van's KSC instead of KSC Exstended. Van's KSC is much bigger having tons of park spaces and also lots of runways and places for boats too definitely recommend it along with Kerbin Side Remastered adding more airports if you are landng a space shuttle etc.
Some other planet packs that I'd mention would be Zive system, and Vulture system. These seem to work with most of the visual mods, but these are older mods so expect some issues. Tho Vulture system has a Kerbin like planet with rings that appears to work with the true volumetric clouds, also Zive has a moon that has clouds too. Both of these add other star systems and don't add wormholes so more opps to do real interstellar missions flying through interstellar space making use of far future propulsion to reach another star system if that's your jam.
Another cool planet mod is Whirligig World, which starts you on a planet that takes only 30 minutes to complete a full day. The oblate world is refreshing for career and science!
Do you remember what you said about animation on Valskibum's community post about indie shows? Why don't you believe animation being seen as more for just kids will happen?
@boguekerbal I just checked, it is on CKAN and looks good! However, I’m wondering if the distance of the star from Kerbol will be good enough, I will certainly try it in the near future, thanks for presenting it!
@@AstraLeKerbal No problem!! A lot of Interstellar star system mods come with a settings config in the game files that allow you to change/adjust the distance of the new system to Kerbol, so that might be worth checking out in your case!
What's the mod that gives planet and stars "icons" in the star map? It seems really useful to determine the type of planetary body at glance even when zoomed out
I'm planning on starting a new save with OOP and the extras, so that should be about when I'm done exploring the home system and ready to move to the other systems anyways.
@@404-Error-Not-Found Same here. I am playing on (since I am writing this) a 9-month Career old modded "Mega Campaign" save where I want to explore/colonise as many planets/bodies as possible, starting from the early space race and going into the Far future of interstellar travel. Galaxies unbound seems like the perfect mod to add, however considering I am still working with 80/90s theoretically possible tech (Orion drives, nuclear salt water rockets etc.) it still probably will be 3 or 6 more months before I start going interstellar, so I can afford to wait.
wish I could get KSP working without it crashing during any loading screen for me... I have tons of interesting mods like these and I just want to play with them again but the constant crashing makes it unplayable
@ oh um… my pc is pretty much the best it can get. I have an i9-13900K, a 4090, 64GB of DDR5 and 2 SSDs I’ve reinstalled all updated versions of mods but it always crashes still during loading screens and there’s some graphical glitches related to EVE on atmospheres
@marshymoo_ realistically no one can help you. You need to uninstall one mod mod at a time, boot the game, check for crashing, un-install the next mod, ect until you figure out what's crashing, then re-enable the other mods, check for crashing.
I dont and cant even play KSP, but i assure that when i get a Mid-End, High-End PC i'll 101% install those mods, cuz it looks absolutely fantastic
Do it bro. Lifechanging

incredible vid as always! love the content!
Thanks turtleboi!!
I love the way you set your videos out. Very informative but also straight to the point. Love the content man keep it up! :)

i have a small request,
can you please make a tutorial for the interstellar craft?

alright, thank you so much 😄
Hi my man love your vids
bro thanks!
I would LOVE to see an other worlds playthrough sometime, there aren’t any on TH-cam and I’d like to see someone go through it
I will keep that in mind! I'm just about done with my current series and will be doing more after it is finished!!
Amazing!
Thank you!!
There is also another cool mod with other star systems called "Kerbal Infinity"
I will check that out!!
Great video ! Is Other Worlds on CKAN currently? And is it compatible with the ongoing KSP1 version (1.12.5)?
I'm not sure if it is on CKAN. I'm fairly certain it is compatible with 1.12.5.

I think that is part of the Kcalbeloh system mod itself.
now we need a ksp 2 mod to make it ksp 1 (aka, less of the family disappointment)
Hahah
You forgot something! Colonization (Probably go with roverdude's MKS) and Multiplayer (Dark Multiplayer)

Do you have the PNG for the Kcakbeloh system at 4:49?
It's on the Kcalbeloh KSP Forum Page! in the description!

any colony mods that are like ksp2 proposed colonies
Probably the best bet at this point is Kerbal Konstructs & building your own bases with the surface base parts.
