I have an original first gen MX Master, first gen MX Anywhere and an M720. The MX Anywhere is a superb mouse for carrying with your laptop. But for sitting at a desk I prefer the M720 to the MX Master in some ways. It has just about every feature the MX Master has. It's smaller so fits my medium sized hands better, feels better in the hand (shape) and, unlike the MX Master, you can change which device you are connected to without lifting the mouse up. The switch button is on the side. But on the MX Master and MX Anywhere that button is on the bottom of the mouse. The MX Master certainly feels slightly better built. But the MX720 is much cheaper. For most people I honestly think the M720 could be a better mouse. It's cheap enough that I can buy two and leave one at home and one at work.
My main thing is macros, the more macros on a mouse while still balancing function and accessibility, the better. It makes editing videos so much easier.
I've got both the MX Master 2s (at work) and the MX Anywhere 3 (at home), and I still prefer the scrollwheel of the 2s. The Anywhere 3 wheel (which is identical to the Master 3) is a bit more premium due to its all-metal build, but SmartShift just feels more refined given it's mechanically driven!

I'm sad that there's no side buttons for left-handed users like me. Even the symmetrical ones recommended here only have side buttons on the left side for right-handed thumbs and no side buttons on the right side for left-handed thumbs. So I'm still kind of stuck...
Maybe not the right place to ask but I‘m very interested if you could do some long-time burn-in testing like you did on WRGB-OLED with the new QD-OLED panels like the S95B. Would be great to know if we actually still need to bother with logo luminance adjustment or if it‘s possible to just stop worrying about it altogether with this new technology. Thanks for your great work, it‘s much appreciated!
Hey Dominik, We don't have any current plans to conduct new burn-in testing. But it's something we've been discussing internally lately, so we're definitely exploring our options. The biggest obstacle is that the burn-in testing took up a lot of time and resources, so if we were to do it again, we want to make sure we find the best way to do it while extracting the most value from the testing. So, if you have any specific suggestions for us, don't ever hesitate to reach out! :)

MX Master scrollwheel is a total fail. You can't scroll up repeatedly in ratchet-mode or it will miss scrolling events. This is the same issue as the first MX mouse with similar toggle button I had at work back in 2004-2006
Mouse is so personal that it is hard to recommend especially for work e.g. a LOT of hours. My choice has been G903 for high dpi, freescrolling and ambidextriousity so I can switch hands every now and then and thus avoid strain injuries (also nice to train the weak hand's motor skills) . Battery life is pretty bad though.
I have found it all comes down to your hand size mine are not huge, and I have tried many many mouses the best for me is definitely the mx 3 anywhere it so god damn smooth no other brands even come close
It is really nice to see Razer enter the productivity field and produce a solid little bugger in the Pro Click Mini... I wonder if maybe you couldve done a 'Best For Small Hands' segment, but I feel the Pro Click Mini would win there.

Seeing that I've been using mice since before most of the people doing this review, or reading this post, I suggest you try this test again but with people who don't game. I use a mouse all day, every day, and I don't game. I've also used some of those recommended mice and for me they were horrible to use. For decades now I've only used somewhat simple wireless mice that have forward/back thumb buttons and a wheel with side to side scrolling ability. That's it. With that I search the Web, edit small and large text files with or without images, and edit hundreds of thousands of images. in Lightroom/Photoshop, RawTherapee, DarkTable, Capture One, Affinity Photo, and over a dozen other photo editing or management apps. Right now I use a Logitech 510, which I'll quit using when I find another mouse, probably a Microsoft model. I don't care about High Click Latency (that's a concern for gamers) nor do I care about 'Weight Optimization, again a gamers feature. A big negative on the mice you picked are the ones with the forward/back buttons placed in the middle or towards the rear of the mouse which makes them difficult to reach with your thumb. Your main pick has a design that digs into the flash at the base of the thumb and becomes uncomfortable fairly quickly. Work with it a day and your hand will be hurting enough to need a painkiller. Mice with trackballs again, are a nice gamer feature, not for precise movement, nor highlighting a few words of text.
