Who would ever buy food past its best by date? Clearly this guy has never been poor. I eat food all the time that’s passed at best buy or sell by date and I’ve never gotten sick.

I used to be a warehouse a manager at Palmer and Harvey, I used to auction our out of date products to numerous 'jobbers' and Approved Foods was one of my contacts, spoke to Dan many times and he won a few auctions. Hes a nice guy and used to love explaining how he built the site, hes very proud of it. I didnt realise he took the business onto this show until seeing it today

my family ran a brick-n-mortar business like this in the early 2000s selling past expiration and items with damaged packaging at big discounts. Margins averaged between 60 -80% depending on the supplier and the business was easily turning over 60k a month in profits. Its closed now, since my uncle passed and his partner went legally insane and ran it into the ground.

In Denmark, there's this app/delivery business called Too Good To Go. They've raised a huge amount of money and are scaling up and expanding like crazy. Hope these guys were able to embark on a similarly successful journey and repay the loans.
