  • This one vitamin deficiency could be causing bone loss leading to skin lines and wrinkles. Fillers and botox are great options but why not reduce the need for them. Nutrition and supplements can help to prevent as well as reduce fine lines, wrinkles and aging. Vitamin K2 D3 also plays a role in preventing heart disease and preventing general inflammation.

Hi. New subscriber. Can you reverse some boneless with jaw and teeth cavities with K2. I just started it 3 days ago. I am 43. I felt like my jaw is not looking the same. Anyhow my avatar is from yesterday. I should of started this in my 30s. Regrets. Is MK7/K2 200 mcg enough?

But you never told us what D3 actually is! Vitamin D3 is NOT a vitamin but a PRE-HORMONE. Did you ever tell your readers how D3 is made? That it's made from oil / fats that sheep excrete from their skin to cover their wool and it is RADIATED after it is saponified* ?
      Saponify:
turn (fat or oil) into soap by reaction with an alkali.
      "saponified vegetable oils"
You're telling me to take RADIATED SOAP (saponified clarified lanolin aka sheep skin oil)?

Even when I order a drink at a bar I order a lemon drop & squeeze fresh lemon in it. Like aloe I believe lemons can be the holy grail if you squeeze them in water and drink it every day or grind them in a food processor and swallow a little each day. hey I even married a lemon that cheats.

Thank you for this. Your videos have helped me so much. I posted I get my first Morpheus 8 in November, so I ordered my first K2D3 today to start before my treatment. I'm post-menopause and had breast cancer, so I cannot take estrogen products for my skin in any form. This has affected my skin and cardiovascular health. I'm hoping K2D3 helps me with my skin journey. (I've also got 3 artificial joints, so I know first hand about bone density problems). Love your videos, as they've helped me understand. They go beyond entertainment and actually help to inform! Thank you!

The 2015 NIH ARTICLE you attached discusses the Rotterdam study of about 5,000 persons over 55, where “high dietary intake of vitamin K2-at least 32 mcg per day, with no intake of vitamin K1, was associated with a 50% reduction in death from cardiovascular issues related to arterial calcification and a 25% reduction in all-cause mortality.”

Look for Natto in the freezer section of a Japanese or other Asian grocery store. Look for 4 x 4 inch small styrofoam boxes connected together by plastic wrapping. For memory and brain health miso are B vitamins, zinc and copper. These all play various roles for the nervous system and choline. Choline is not only vital for the nerve cells that make up our brain;it also helps to make a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which is vital in storing memories, zinc is essential for hair growth and hair condition and copper is the most important nutrients to maintain hair pigmentation and prevent those greys setting in. An antioxidant protection, miso is a good source of the minerals copper and manganese. Both have role in our antioxidant defences, including helping to make one of our body’s most important antioxidants ,called superoxide and dismutase. For this reason, these nutrients help protect against disease and helps us look younger.

I’ve been taking the MK7 90 mcg per day with 5,000 IU of D3 since May 2022. I had barely any D3 in my blood and my doc originally put me on 50,000 IU supplements. I digress. So I’m seeing my facial structure filling out. I notice bc I’m doing retinA through Curology and we post photos once per month. I can’t believe this improvement is just the RetinA. If I’m too tired to take all my vitamins, I make sure I at the bare minimum take the MK7 VitaminD3 combo. It’s really really hard convincing others to get on the MK7 and that really frustrates me. They keep saying, ohhhh blood thinning this, and I’m a vegan that, and I get it from lettuce 😳 Ugh. Anyway. I’m in. Thank you for what you do.

In an attempt to solve many issues researched as solvable by D3 K 2 combo, I took way too much for a number of months before I realized my error, and the doctor finally looked at my lab results from a few months prior....I discovered in July that I was at 159 in May (12-29 normal? 50 High?) and had continued 40k IU / day per recommendations from another natural doctor, as well as a high D keto diet of cruciferous, meat, fish, eggs, dairy, cheeses, so I stopped supplements cold turkey since mid July.
I have serious joint challenges too, so I have been trying to cut back on my beloved dairy. Would be grateful for information on how to remove the excess D and how to determine if the excess D has caused a buildup of calcium as it can, and how to know when I'm back to normal?
If there was a benefit of all this people do generally think I'm a lot younger than I am lol!
    Can I test for K1 K2 deficiency?
Could K1 K2 help reduce my excess D, and possibly any excess Ça created by all that extraD?
    Especially since doing keto...

In case anyone is wondering what signs or symptoms indicate low Vit D, I’d say sudden pain in the chest, I can’t remember which side or where about but I had pain in my chest and it’s something I never felt before. Fortunately, it happened that I had to have a blood test for something else and that’s where they picked it up; I had to have 2 separate doses IV of Vit D; since then I take D3 + K2, when I decide last summer to go “natural” and sit in the sun without sunscreen my face got damaged , I have a brown skin and have some weird whitish marks; the dermatologist told me that this will recover with time as long as I don’t expose myself to the sun without sunscreen.

I agree with population deficiency, I mentioned this in your last video of D3 that I had an extremely low D3… felt strange, sore joints…felt like I was getting sick but didn’t. It’s a buzzard unusual feeling. Within a month of taking D3/K2 I felt like a different person. That particular year it was a very dark winter. And that’s all it took, not enough sunshine. My Dr. Recommend not wearing sunscreen , and spend at least 20 minutes with out a hat. Then a hat. So that’s what I do… I have spent a lot f time out this summer , except for the insufferable heat waves, I will be going to get my levels checked in the fall. I am curious for the outcome. I never miss D3/K2. This is such an important video and really appreciate the studies aaa to why it’s so important. 🙏🏻😊🌹

Why would you consult your doctor about supplements when they know next to nothin about them? Seriously. My nephew is a doctor and he says they taught them nothing at all in med school about the importance of a good, healthy diet and how to use a healthy diet to cure disease. They briefly went over the four basic food groups and that’s it.
The American Cancer Society says it’s fine to eat as much sugar as you like and not only that but it’s fine to have two alcoholic drunks per day when battling cancer! And cancer cells LOVE sugar! A Japanese lady friend of mine informs me that they completely eliminated refined sugars from the diets of cancer patients in Japan more than 20 years ago. Japan ranks #1 in longest average lifespans. America ranks #54. Your doctor is the last person you should consult with regarding this subject! They’ll just pooh pooh the idea and say you don’t need them because you get everything you need from your diet. They are that clueless!

Regarding D2 versus D3, you say “now you know the difference”, but you don’t really explain the difference. You should edit the section early on in this video and describe the molecular difference, and how that is affected by processing in the body to get to the most active form in blood serum. Kidneys and liver processing is required for vitamin D, and that’s why people who have liver or kidney issues need to better monitor their vitamin D blood serum levels over time. D2 and D3 require different levels of processing in the body to get utilized.

The diet recommendations for people with diabetes or even initial signs of insulin resistance are as suspect as the original food pyramid we all grew up with. Carbohydrates have no place of value in a person with insulin resistance and diets comprised of mostly comprised of protein and fats without sugar has seen reversal of a diabetes diagnosis entirely. I don't think that grocery store shelves comprised largely of the products of corn subsidies would fair well if we actually promoted what was healthy for this large and growing percentage of the population but it's the case nonetheless.

when I take Vit D with K2 in mornings, I feel great but I don't sleep well. It never lets me have a deep sleep even though I take it early in AM. I also take Mag Glycinate before bed. Am I too sensitive to Vid D?? My D level is < 20 so I need it, but I also need my sleep. Any ideas on what to do?

When taking such a high dose of vitamin D3, such as 5000 international units (125 µg) or more per day, it is very important to see your doctor to have your vitamin D levels checked. Vitamin D is a vitamin that can cause overdose toxicity. You do not want your level to exceed 100 ng/mL.

@@MLCMD Great information! I just had my Vitamin D checked, and it was 35.3. My doctor said, it's fine? I wear a lot of sunscreen, as I burn easy, so I avoid the sun whenever possible! Another doctor said, he would like to see it at 50 or higher, and told me to start taking 1,000 Vitamin D. Do you know how often you should get your Vitamin D and Calicum checked? Thanks!

    • @MLCMD
      @MLCMD 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

When it comes to vitamin D, if there’s a change to your intake, it is a good idea to check levels again three months after the change of your dosage. If your dosage is going to stay the same, checking it every six months to year is recommended. It is often incorporated in well women visits, Other than upon request with your regular doctor. When it comes to calcium serum levels, it is part of a comprehensive metabolic panel. More importantly for post menopausal women, DEXA scan at age 55 or greater or if one sustained what is called a “fragility fracture” (distal radius, vertebra, or proximal femur/Hip). Vitamin D insufficiency is significant in regard to chronic pain and athletic performance. In both those scenarios, it’s important to have a level of at least 40 ng/mL. If without symptoms, a level of 30 ng/mL should be sufficient. Vitamin D insufficiency can cause issues such as: depression, muscular/tendon weakness, and chronic pain (Myofascial pain).

THANK YOU. Most informative and helpful. A few years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I was prescribed vitamin D3 and calcium. Through my own research I discovered the vital role that vitamin K2 plays in the management of calcium in the blood. I have been taking vitamin K 2 for over 3 years as well as oither minerals that are important to bone health/density. Sadly, the doctors do not tell their osteoporosis patients about the benefits of these vitamins and minerals in relation to bone health.

I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 12 years ago and I’m seeing the only Lyme literate doctor in my city which is Fort Wayne Indiana :-) in my case I have to take 30,000 IUs of vitamin D 3 with K2, to have normal levels, could you do a teaching on what if someone has auto immune issues and they are not absorbing vitamin D3 K2 properly, because lyme disease puts a biofilm over your cells. Which I do take supplements to break down the bio film…..And what that does to our skin and bones in the aging process? I just thank the Lord that my doctor has had me on the proper supplements for years! I didn’t realize how important that was until I started watching your videos and how crucial that is with our skin and bones….So I greatly appreciate you doing truly informative videos on how to live our best life and look youthful on the outside feel good on the inside the best and take care of our bodies properly so they will take care of us!:)
