    I recently bought a 2023 Charger GT PLUS. Same 3.6 V6. LOVE the car! SUPER SMOOTH engine! With 300 hp and 264 ft lbs of torque my 4100 pound Charger moves pretty damn good! Not slow. Plenty of power for use as a daily driver which is what I wanted. No regrets.

    I have a 2019 GT AWD as my daily commuter for when i don't feel like getting the meaner toys out to play, first thing id say is after getting this car definately save up the $1700 and buy yourself a Borla Atak exhaust system and a good performance cold air intake, these two mods are easy to install also would be pretty cheap to have installed for you at a shop if you dont want to install yourself and make a huge difference in the sound and performance of the car you'll give yourself about 30 more HP closing that gap with the RT trim even closer and your car will then actually sound like a muscle car even with the v6 in there, plus just a note, 90% of people in the world don't know the differences or care about the trims and engines they see a challenger and they think the same thing whether its a hellcat or a GT

    My 2017 Challenger GT V6 has 140,000 trouble-free miles on it. It has been supremely reliable. So instead of replacing the car with a new one, I gave it a present. New timing chains & guides, water & oil pump, Coil Packs, Iridium plugs & a Ripp Supercharger. Now it's an all-wheel-drive volcano that gets 21 mpg. That 3.6 Pentastar is a very good engine. We were surprised to see just how clean the engine was internally after 140,000 miles. Have fun with your V6 Challengers. Absolutely nothing wrong with them and there is plenty of headroom for significant mods down the road.

    I’ve had two Challenger GTs over the past 3ish years. I can say with utmost confidence that they are MARVELOUS. I have several videos on it on my channel, feel free to check them out. I LOVE my Challenger. V6s are great and fun. 305 hp is still plenty and it’s a blast to drive every day.

  • @zippedmouthgaming5637
    @zippedmouthgaming5637 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

    This car embodies age-old quotes like "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "Comparison is the thief of joy." I've owned the 3.6 and 5.7 at the same time in the past (currently the 5.7, moved on to a Kona N for the daily) and the 3.6 has plenty of pep. It's funny, people turn their nose up at 303hp when it's a V6 in a car that's "supposed to" have a V8. My dream V8 as a kid was the 4.6 modular and it only had 260hp. You can get over 1,000hp these days. You can get 0-60's under 2 seconds. The power wars are over. Now is the time to be focused on what makes US happy as drivers. My first 5.7 got absolutely bodied by some Alfa Romeo SUV, got home and found out it had like 600hp. But you can bet nobody's smiling and waving at that Alfa the way they do at my Challengers. There are better things than "winning" in the car world. People should focus on being the happiest they can be.
    PS - I think the Pentastar sounds GREAT with a Borla exhaust, and it baffles me when people get so bent out of shape when others "try to make it sound like a V8." I literally think, "So? Let them have their fun."

    People seem to think that they are super neato when their car is loud (most of them sound like lawn mowers on crack). I have not modified the exhaust on my scat and the only reason I ever would modify the exhaust is to make it quieter. Driving freeway speeds I have to have my stereo volume at no less than 16 to be able to hear my music. Having conversations with the passenger is not using your inside voice. My girl and I feel like we are practically yelling at each other lol. Anyway, whatever floats people's boat.

My son just bought a new Challenger GT in the same color combination. He just graduated from College in June, got his first full-time job, and bought his dream car. Because of his age, 22 years old, insurance costs were prohibitive with the V-8 Hemi, but he is just as happy with the V-6. No V6,6 cyl or 4 cyl are muscle cars...Even a Hellcat Charger is NOT a muscle car because it is a 4 door..Only midsize 2 doors with a performance V8 are muscle cars!
      Example a 1970 Dodge Challenger with a 318 V8 or 383 2 barrel V8 are not muscle cars...Even though the lower compression than the 4bbl 383 2barrel moves the exact same as a 3.6 new Challenger! The muscle version was the high performance 383 Magnum,440 Magnum and 426 Hemi...They ran low 12's to low 13's in the 1/4 mile Get the 426 tuned right they ran high 11's,remember old tests cars had zero traction...185/75/14 inch tires bias ply at that and zero drag strips,if they used a drag strip they were like a parking lot in terms of prep as no chemicals for traction...Even slicks back then had no traction,they were 8 inch wide so a modern minivans 225 radial tire actually has more traction than old slicks of the day!

      @@mypronouniswtf5559- Doors have nothing to do with the muscle car equation - a Charger and Challenger are both L-Cars, identical platform with ONLY wheelbase length distinguishing them apart. Muscle cars were mid sized, and full sized from the inception of the genre. Yes a Pony car is distinguished by having a 2+2 seating arrangement and two doors, but a trunk OR hatchback is permissible. Muscle Cars have no such rigid requirement for entry into the class. A car company taking its largest sedan, placing its largest V8 engine under the hood, backed by either a quick shifting automatic or manual transmission, short rear end gearing, along with its largest brake setup, and stiffest suspension would qualify it as a muscle car by any definition- doors be damned. The Charger is as much a muscle car as it’s two door mechanical twin- but let’s be honest- four door cars sell much better than coupes since the 90s. The Challenger only exists because the Magnum, Charger, and 300 made it possible(the Challenger replaced the Magnum in the lineup after all).
