I’m 82 and bought my Scat Pack 2020 last June.. drive it every day and love it. A little excitement for the old dude, eh? I’ looking for a sleeping cop to race with.
Good for you! What a feeling that must be for you, having seen all kinds of changes in the auto industry since you were a teenager and I'm guessing ...making out with your honey in the back of your dad's Studebaker.
Oh yeah....we seniors DESERVE good things and the DODGE Challengers are GREAT. IF I had the money, I would get one. But I CAN dream . Enjoy it for me and GOD BLESS 👍🙏🌹
Ha!!! Outstanding Bill, myself I had to lemon law my '15 SRT Challenger 😡 after being MOPAR most of my life, and now, at 62 myself I'm driving my modified 780hp 2017 ZL1 Camaro 10sp auto. It's quite the handful and it is a blast to drive. Enjoy yourself and drive safe.
I’m 67 and just took delivery of my ordered 2022 Challenger ScatPack Widebody with Shaker Hood, 6.4 liter engine, Smoke Show in color with Auto Trans, my first car was a 1972 Challenger with a small V-8 (318 engine) which was a wonderful car. 50 years later I have this beast and every time it’s fired up it puts a wonderful smile on my face.
Sir, you will enjoy that car the rest of your life! I am sure you realize that now. Shaker Skat’s are the absolute coolest cars ever created. Well done
Have a 2015 Skat, 6 speed manual, with 224,000 actual miles on same engine, never done a valve job. I swear this is the best car I have ever owned (had some great cars, but this one just has it all).
I’m 53 years young I’m buying a 2014 Dodge Challenger RT Plus. It been my dream car since Dodge Brought it back. Now I have the chance to own my first American Muscle Car a dream come true. Yes I’m buying one.
Awesome, same thing here Justin. I recelty bought a 2020 Challenger Scatpack WB, 50th Anniversary... Frostbite :). These are awesome beautiful driving machines!!! Thanks to @shiftinglanes for a wonderful job and review.
I have a 2019 Scat pack and have had zero problems with it. I love driving the car and if I keep my foot out of it I get 21-20 mpg. Not great for most cars these days but I don’t care.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks and I'm down below 13 MPG. I've been trying not to hot-foot it to bring it back up again. I find that city driving ends up lower than highway driving. When I can maintain 45-50 for a bit it goes back up. Running your car in park with the AC on seems to bring this down as well, so keep that in mind.
Finally got my 2021 Scat Pack Indigo Blue 6 speed. Love it! Average milage is 19.7 mixed highway/suburb. Gas guzzler tax was still worth getting a stick! Only complaint is the blind spot at the C pillar. That will be solved when I bring it to Drop Top Customs!!! P.S. Had a 71 Challenger Convertible :)
I have the GT AWD - I live in Michigan. I can tell you this car is plenty fast. AND - if you really want to show off, drive a challenger in the winter snow...you'll get more looks than than any other muscle car on the road at any time of the year!! I've had a BMW 550i which was really nice... but the Challenger is my favorite car I've ever owned.
That 305 HP V6 has a very nice growl inside the car when you put your foot down on the “go pedal.” Love that sound! The 8 speed automatic mates well with the V6 and helps to get the most out of the engine in just about any speed you are traveling at. Add in very good gas mileage for a car with decent performance, along with great looks, a great ride and handling and all these make the Challenger GT a fun car to drive.
Greg, we’re seriously considering one and we live in Wisconsin. How good does it really handle in the winter? It would be a daily driver for us. Thanks for any input.
@@Beck248 you're not going to want to push through deep snow like a lifted truck - but the handling will be as good. I have the Continental Extremecontact tires and 1) I'm passing most people in the snow, and 2) I drove from Indianapolis to my house after a motocross event in a snow storm with no issues. The beautiful thing about this car is that you can do 100mph at about 19mpg and still drive it in the snow. The ONLY issue I have is that I have deep pocket after-market 20" wheels and in powder the snow will pack in the wheels and make them out of balance; so I have to stop and pull the snow out - but only in deep powder.
Chally owner here and have to share a little issue that’s only for us challenger owners, there will be an issue with your driver or passenger window on the 2015-17 models, the window will have a door sensor thinking that it’s being unlocked but there’s nobody around, and it’ll do it at the most random times, dealership will charge you big money for it, best bet buy the part at the dealership or after market store and have another shop install it because the dealership as you should all know are too expensive, but yeah just a heads up but overall I love my Chally and it’s always best to go with a v8 for the sound nothing beats it when you turn it on, no hate on v6 folks because I had a v6 too but a v8 will always do it for me.
I bought a 2019 Challenger Widebody Scatpack and absolutely fell in love with the car. I've driven many cars and there's definitely something special about these mopars. Just before arriving home, I find myself either taking the long way or going around the block once more to open her up one last time. Car looks so aggressive just sitting that it's hard to fight the temptation of going for another drive haha if you're contemplating getting one DO IT! I don't think I could ever part ways with this one. #Moparornocar
I owned a 2019 Dodge Challenger SXT and I had 0 issues with it I loved that car. I’m gathering up money right now to get me a 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 6-speed manual. Fingers crossed I can make this dream a reality
I was a GM guy my whole life and decided to try Dodge. I bought a 2020 Scat Pack Wide Body loaded.. Just had a couple of small issues that were fixed early on and it only has 1,800 miles on her now but it puts a smile on my face every time I put the pedal to the metal. Thx for the great content and that’s why I bought a 2020 because the bugs were worked out over the years.
Had a 2018 Scat Shaker, just traded it in for the 2021 Hellcat Redeye Widebody because 485 HP just isnt enough!!! These cars are a blast to drive. I dont care about the car basically looking the same inside and out since '08 or flimsy interior pieces or crappy gas mileage or being a sailboat on roller skates or what ever some one has an issue about with the car. That is not the reason why you buy one of these. I am old school and that is what the Challenger represents. Takes me back when I was in my late teens early 20's when you and your buddies were tearing apart motors in the driveway and constantly monkeying around with your cars with no money then taking them out to the strip.
Just bought a Challenger GT 2021 with all addon features, I am very happy with it personally, AWD keeps the car really grounded and makes for a perfect daily driving car and all season car. Would recommend a Challenger for sure if you're looking for one. Especially if you are a tall individual, I personally sat in a Mustang and a Camaro those cars are pretty small imo, Challenger was the best, just godly amount of space feels like you can really finally relax.
I had a GT before too, and it was a great car. I had expected more issues with it but none. Cadillac I had had a bunch of infotainment issues and some suspension problems. VW mom had was a nightmare. Even my old Camaro (14) had some cosmetic and paint issues). The Challie didnt. And you know where all the buttons are when you finally move up to a Scat Pack or Hellcat. I would say if you can, get one before theyre gone. The traction you get from the bigger tires more than make up for the awd, though, you probably drive it in the winter like I did lol
@@SK-jy9pw I meant about the AWD. I dont drive them on because of the salt...because theyre relegated to car shows only. But Its still a decent enough car in the winter. Ive only driven rwd cars. A little fishtail is fun
Spent 2 years researching the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger...before deciding to purchase a new 2015 392 Scat Pac/Shaker, once it became available for order/delivery. For me, it "checked all my boxes"...and still does to this day. Mine has just over 100,000 miles, and not a single "commuter" mile on her. Last time to Bakersfield for the 2019 March Meet, she averaged 28 mpg on the trip there (and yes, on occasion, I'm not shy about showing her nearly 500 horsepower). Sitting at the local mall just yesterday, I had 4 people stop by to comment on how beautiful she looks. Color me "a satisfied customer" 😎
I have loved the Challenger since the 70's, I currently own a 70 Challenger Convertible and a 71 Challenger Convertible along with a 2019 Challenger Hellcat. I love the retro look of the 19 and the power. It is comfortable and reliable. I highly recommend this car.
I bought my 16' SP 14 months ago and absolutely enjoy it every day. We have 2 SUV that we've taken on many road trips and decided to take 'Blue' to STL and Tulsa, 2 different trips, from the Twin Cities and the only issue we had was being too comfortable on the first trip. We were 3 hrs into the trip and realized we hadn't pulled over, even for a piss break. Being 50 and not getting out of the car for 3 hrs was hectic on the back and joints. Average cruising speed of 80 and even at those speeds the ride is so smooth and comfortable. This was my first MoPar purchase and glad that I made it. Our next SUV purchase will be a track/trailhawk.
I bought my low mileage 2018 scat pack, shaker 392 A year ago and I still love it. I have no problems with it. Just a fun car to drive and not bad on long drives gas wise. You do have to watch out for Mr. Police Officer eye ballin you. 👁
Very good presentation. If I were to have written the part about the styling I would have said pretty much the same thing. This is one of the biggest reasons why I love the Challenger - it still looks like a Challenger since first going on sale in 2008. I have said a Porsche 911 is unmistakable no matter which year you are looking at. The same is true for the Challenger. I am so happy Dodge resisted the Ford approach. They resurrected the iconic original Mustang look in 2005, and less than five years later the car already started taking on new shapes and angles that once again repeats the changing body lines starting in 1971 that eventually made it look nothing like the original.
Great info! I have watched a bunch of these Challenger vids (mostly hoping to be convinced NOT to acquire one) and this is definitely one of the most informative vids yet. The part about the recalls is very helpful! Thank you
Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed and found it informative. Check back as we have many more of these coming this year on a bunch of different cars and trucks. Definitely get one. They're a riot to drive.
Hell yeah, there's a lot of choices to make and is awesome they have so many options to pick from. I love my SRT8, it's a lot of fun to drive and hands down my favorite modern car I've ever owned 💪🏼😎
I'm 61, I've had my 2017 Challenger GT, I've done the exhaust, I've added a 9 drive proformance chip, and cold air intake, and yes that combo works, I gained at the least about 15 HP more, and 10 more ft lbs of torque... I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but you would be surprised, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! 🔥💯😎
To be completely fair, the airbag recall applied to a slew of cars, not just the Challenger. That said, I am the proud owner of a 2019 Challenger 1320, the Demon Lite version of the Scat Pack. This is my 2nd Challenger, I traded in a Shaker Scat Pack for the 1320. Neither of my Challengers offered my any troubles. I can't rave enough about the car. In fact, I can safely say my next car will also be a Challenger as I plan to upgrade to a Redeye Super Stock. Listen to the loyal owners of these cars. We LOVE our Challengers.
I'm 56 and just bought my third challenger! Have had the 2014 SXT 6 , the 2016 5.7 RT 8 and now the 2022 6.4 scat pack SC 8 ! Have loved all of them!' Dodge has done a great job with this car year after year!
The 392(don't like SC whine) is high on my list of cars. I would prefer the narowbody (unlike most people I know), in Black, F8 Green or Octane Red, with brown inteeiour. Manual gearbox, thank you very much 🤪
I have the 2021 wide body scat pack in Go Mango and I love it so much! Definitely a head turner and I really don’t care about how thirsty she is! By all means, I will gladly spend a whole paycheck on gas because she’s super fun to drive, not to mention all the drive modes you can choose from.
I got my 2013 Billet Silver SRT8 this summer from a small used car lot. The car was there along time probably due to automatics poor 2-3 shifting and 108k miles. I got it way below market and that allowed me to avoid a car payment. Before retiring in 2020 I worked as a Manager at Dodge dealers in parts and service since 1990 so I knew what I was in for. After replacing the transmission control valve sleeves plus the conductor plate (not difficult) and then doing all the maintenance it runs and drives perfectly. My first Challenger was a 1970 R/T 440 Six Pack 4-speed I sold in 1997 to a woman who gave it to her husband as a surprise for his 40th birthday. True story….
I watched your video twice already, that is how great it was. Very detailed, professional, and straight to the point. thumbs up from a challenger Scatpack WB 50th Ann owner.
Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching! Comments like these make our day and show that we're making great content for a wide range of people. Hope you stick around for more to come!
I just bought a Dodge Challenger SXT and came across this video. I was shocked to see my home city Indianapolis in it! Love the beautiful shots from the raceway and downtown ❤️
Definitely in the market for one and this video helped tremendously! I am most concerned about reliability since most of the challengers i am looking at are used with 70k plus miles on them. Just want to make sure it doesn’t give up on me as i leave the lot 😂! Thanks man!
The reliability apparently is best on the 2020 models... this is the one I opted for and got pretty lucky I bought one used but basically new. Got it last year just a little over six months ago an old guy owned it and only put 9k miles on it.
All three of the cars you mentioned were never muscle cars. They are all pony cars which means they're supposed to be sporty compared to real muscle cars.
@@nodak81 Blah...blah...blah... U R talking 50 years ago pal. A muscle car was engineered and built to do ONE thing, that being chew up asphalt 1/4 mile at a time. If you think Challenger doesn't fit into that category you really are a dumbass and most likely drive a Kia. Even Dodge tells that to the world when they advertised the Challenger.
I'm 68 and last year I bought a 2019 392 485HP Scat Pack in Indigo Blue, Love the Harmon Kardon 18 speaker stereo, the big vented/heated seats, the 8-inch backup monitor/camera and monitors, cross-path alert system, the power sunroof, the Drive modes, the adaptive cruise control, the 8-speed auto transmission with manual and paddle shifter is sweet. But, what I love the most is the motor, it's awesome! What I don't like is the expensive/really hard to find Pennzoil 0-40 Ultra Platinum motor oil that Dodge want's you to use I don't race my Challenger, I use it as a big comfortable powerful touring car like the cars of the late '60's, the GTO's, the Chevelle SS's, the Pontiac Grand Prix's, and Thunderbirds, the cars old men used to drive. Stupid Chevy and Ford don't make em anymore.
I have a 2012 SXT with 133,000 miles on it and we only had to deal with the air bag and alternator recalls... Other than that, It's GREAT! ... I drive the heck out of this thing and don't have issues at all.
I own a 2016 challenger hellcat and other than a couple of recalls. It has been and still a wonderful car. I enjoy driving very much. I am now thinking about a 2021 challenger scatpack wide body for a daily driver.
At 68 I just purchased an 2023 R/T Scat Pack Plus, black on black and I love it, my first muscle was a 1974 Plymouth Satellite with 383cui and it would run right there with the 440cui, then 1974 Z28 350 cui but could not keep a license so I gave up the hot rods for more modest rides like Plymouth Valiant or Ford Ranger and its been about forty years without speeding tickets. Hope I can keep my foot out of the carb these days. :)
I have an anniversary edition RT Scat pack Challenger. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had driving a car and I’ve had Audis and Jaguars. It’s an investment in happiness get one!
I just bought my 2018 doge challenger sxt plus 305 hp feels more power than a 335 hp 1lt camaro I had for about two years. I just love the car the only downside is I didn't notice It came with 18 inches wheels but not 20.
Just got my 2021 SXT and I love mine too. You are so right about this car being HUNGRY. I took it out on the highway and floored it and it just GOES. Such a joy to drive.
I have 3 challenger 2018 demon , 2018 hellcat widebody and 2022 hellcat redeye widebody and I love them all!!!. The great thing is they are all dialed in with able to customize adjustment instead just track sport or street or drag. No issues so far with any of them. only I feel that 2018 demon and hellcat handle better than the 2022.
I'm in the market for one right now and this has been one of the most useful/informational videos I have found; and I have watched quite a few! Subbed to the channel immediately. Very concise and clear and able to point me in better research directions I otherwise would have overlooked. Thanks a bunch!
Love my 2020 R/T BUT.......read the fine print before springing for the extended warranty. My manual gearbox lost 5th and 6th at 5000 miles and I had to fight for a rental or loaner. Even if you breakdown as soon as you leave the lot, Dodge is all, "Read what you signed, puny human!"
Have driven a 2010 SS, a 2016 Mustang GT, and ended up buying a 2022 Challenger RT. After driving them, the Mustang was probably one of the most fun to drive (had the track pack). While the 2010 SS wasn't horrible by any means, it was the one lacking the most in the segment. Even with a full dyno tune, a ram air intake, long tube headers, etc... it consistantly got it's rear end kicked by the Mustang GT in stock form. To add to the poor experience, it was the least stable platform of the three at high speeds (100mph+). The Mustang GT was a fantastic car and responded well to input. The Coyote engine's overhead cam design and VVT really let the car pull like a freight train even at the top end. A true joy to drive. So it was down to between a new Mustang GT or a Challenger RT. I couldn't get my hands on the scat pack, or a manual RT. Surprisingly enough, the 8 speed is quite a welcome transition. It's snappy like a dual clutch without all of the downsides of the complexity (also allows for looser stall conversions). The Challenger is ROCK FREAKING SOLID at higher speeds on the highway. My complaints are really petty against it such as the cup holders aren't removable. The windows have one touch down but not one touch up (in 2022... this should be in every vehicle with an MSP over 40K). The lack of a factory LSD is the only serious downside. After tossing a JLT series II intake on the car, mid-muffler delete, car is on point.
I own a 2013 Mustang GT, but a very good friend of mine owns a Challenger Scat Pack which he loves, and I have rented various Challengers over the years and test-driven others. They're great cars; if my finances permitted, I would buy one tomorrow. If it wasn't for the fact that I really like my 2013 Mustang GT, I'd already own a Challenger. They're very appealing from the standpoint that they are large-enough to be roomy inside, and suitable for travel. The Camaro may burn up the track, but good luck seeing out of one, especially through that ridiculous rear window. And talk about ugly! So, high marks for Dodge for keeping the Challenger a muscle car, and an iconic one at that. Well-done. Maybe a Challenger owner in the mood to do a favor will educate me and suggest which models and years are the most-desirable.
I know what you mean, believe it or not but I am on my third. First one 2018 T/A, second was 2018 Hellcat, and the one I have now 2022 Scat Pack. All three were and are manual transmission, the only way to go.
Yeah when I bought my SRT8, I didn't think to ask them about recalls that might be on it and discovered that there was one that had not been addressed with the side curtain airbag on the passenger side. But had no issues at all getting it fixed, I just contacted my local Dodge dealer and got it right into repair it without any problems. It is a 2010 SRT8 and is a blast to drive her, she is not stock and runs very close to the same performance numbers as new 392s or 5.0 GTs etc and is surprisingly quick for basic bolt ons with a diablo tune and is naturally aspirated. Also replaced the heavy stock rims with 17" racing wheels, and made a huge difference alone
My wife has a 2021 Challenger ScatPack wide body and loves it. I just found a 2020 50th Anniversary ScatPack Shaker wide body for myself and can’t wait to go pick it up!!! I like my GT350 Super Charged Voodoo Queen. I also have a 50th Anniversary Super Snake. Both Mustangs are 6spd and I like the automatic in the Challengers for just cruising. No Camaro, I get claustrophobic in them.
Have the 2020 scat pak and haven’t stopped smiling. Only downside is Everybody wants to race me. Seriously! at least once a day. so I added the hellion twin turbo kit and now push out 725hp at the rear tire on stock parts.then added the SXT V6 badging.
I purchased the 2020 R/T with the Shaker package. I'm extremely pleased with every facet of the car EXCEPT the 4 cylinder mode that kicks in. It feels like the car is searching for a gear, or just lugging, and doesn't feel right. It's easy to just throw it in manual mode or sport mode to eliminate the cylinder deactivation but to me it is still a negative. What do you really save on fuel economy? I sure didn't buy a Hemi for fuel mileage. Otherwise, delightful performance and a real throwback to the 70's Challenger and Cuda models which I did own a long time ago. The exhaust note is amazing on these hemi cars as well and I really could not believe it was stock.
@@jeffbarrett3994 Already have a manual in my Mustang when I feel like shifting. I didn't want two manual cars, plus this 8 speed automatic performs way better than a manual. No way anyone can shift faster than this A8. It's incredible!
WHY DONT YOU JUST LEAVE CAR IN PERFORMANCE MODE ALL THE TIME. DON'T ENGAGE ECO MODE. YOU DO HAVE THAT CHOICE? BESIDES TODAY'S AUTO TRANS GET BETTER MPG THAN A MANUAL.
I just got my 2016 Challenger R/T. I didn't mean to, but I saw it and fell in love. I imagine in 5 years when it is paid off I will get a newer model... Time will tell!
Bought 2019 SP WB 6Speed Manaul in September of 2019 and absolutely love it. No issuess, but due to COVID I have less than 9k miles. Previously owned 2 porsches 928 GTS & 1S4, plus 2 Mercedes 190-2.3 16V as well as a BMW 528i. Yes I'm an oldschool car guy and feel this the best of them all by far ;-)
Just recently bought a 2014 Challenger SXT with 38000 miles on it. I now have only 39300 miles on it and the car is running good. No Issues as of yet. I will look into the NHTA for possible issues as you mentioned.
I just got a 2021 Challenger R/T with Black top package and I love it. The engine growls and fits my budget, I wanted a street king vehicle not a race car and the Scat Pack or higher was just not my driving style. In terms of performance, styling, back seats that are slightly better than a Mustang or Camaro and a well sized trunk space. I give the car high marks. Just remember it’s a Coupe so if you want people in the back get a Charger, I’ve had two before switching. I also had cloth seats and upgraded to Katzskin leather seats, I’ll be honest forget factory leather folks, do the seat upgrade if you find a model with cloth seats but want the leather.
Bought a 16 Hellcat. Probably my favorite car I’ve ever owned. It is a riot to own. Love the looks and LOVE the supercharged engine paired with the Viper 6 Speed. Adrenaline and grin inducing drive.
I just purchased a 2021 SRT Scat Pack 392 Widebody Challenger T/A version in Gold Rush. I am very happy with the car. It only had 3000 miles and the previous owner ordered it with features that make it sound good inside and out and look good. Harmon Kardon system with an amp and a spare tire delete that allows the subwoofer to be installed in the trunk. And a stripe delete that let's the profile of the car look clean without that matte black T/A stripe running down both sides of the car. The Brembo brakes and instead of the standard chrome rectangular exhaust ports it has black chrome quad pipes. So there are two round exhaust pipes in each bumper cutout where one rectangular one would sit. It looks and sounds mean.
I am currently seeking for a challenger 2020 0r 2021. My current car is scion tc 2008. I am still deciding between 3 cars : 1 Dodge Challenger 2 Volvo s60 and 3 Acura TLX. I am at NJ so here the snow is an issue.
I have had a 2013, 2020 and 2021 Scat Pack. Had to get the 2021 because the 2020 was totalled in an accident, not because it was a problem car. I love my Challenger
Great video and informative. Thank you very much. Im in the market for a vehicle and never considered buying a challenger until i came across one at a dealership. Again thanks for the video
I've a 2013 Camaro Gen 5 and love the lines of the car. I'd like to get a new one with some of the updated electronics, etc. However, as mentioned in the video, Chevy has been changing the design from gen to gen. I'm decidedly not a big fan of some of the body design modifications, specifically those of the front end. I think Dodge is very smart in sticking with a proven design. It has a great look and one that stands out in a world of look-a-like cars. I've spent a lot of time on the Dodge site the past week and loving the car more each time. I think I may be a convert. Sorry Chevy! Thanks for this great video.
I was strictly a Mustang or F150 driver for years until I took a goof look at the Dodge Challenger. I have had the 2022 Challenger RT since Thanksgiving and have put 2000 miles on it.I absolutely love 😊the size of the car, the simplicity of operation and the weight of the car. Instead of the juvenile jump and bounce of the Mustang, the ride is almost gracefully beastfull! Get a Challenger, you will not regret it.
@@dontaybreadgangtv5305 I heeded the call Mopar muscle. I bought a new 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Shaker Wide Body in August of 2022. It is a most remarkable car inside and out, both looks and performance. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
I have had 4 challengers all V-8 s the last three 392 s - I am buying my fifth one now !!! They have been the absolute best muscle car I have ever owned and I have owned many since 1970 ! This car will be missed by people who truly enjoy a true muscle car in the future !

@@josephbohan7799 Hit us up in 5 years, lmmfao!
Absolutely!!! Idle for preheat or cool down crushes mpg.
you don't buy muscle cars if you want good gas mileage
Dodge challenger one of the best cars built sophisticated, beautiful with a beast look a monster sound and raw power. I like this car.

i own a 2019 and my only issue is blind spots 😂
No waterpump issues?

Thank you so much, Greg!!
I picked up my 2021 ScatPack in Hellraisin. It's an awesome color that always gets positive comments.
That color is a lot darker than I thought it would be. The pics are usually a bit different.
Went to a car show today and saw a new Challenger in Plum Crazy. They really need to bring that back as a standard color.
Hellraisin is def my fav colour that dodge is currently offering
Great info! Thanks so much for sharing with the larger community. And thanks for watching!

Thx for the great content and that’s why I bought a 2020 because the bugs were worked out over the years.
what kind of issues?
Love my ‘19 sxt blacktop. The ultimate road trip machine and can get well over 30mpg.
I live in germany and i bought a Challenger 2020 GT. Im in love with This car.. a masterpiece
2016 srt 392, 6 speed. Beast of a car. Love the sound, style and power. Dodge did these cars right!!
Torch red 2018 scat shaker is what I have and 485 horsepower is just enough for everyday driving. I haven't driven a Hellcat or I would want one. 😁
@@roymorgan5498 100 percent!!
My 16 srt 13,000 miles. Go mango. 485hp plenty fun!
Lol 485 horsepower isn’t enough? For 99 percent of consumers they have no business even driving the car. 🤡 statement
@@RipRoaringGarage were you driving scatoack in winter

Hey man. How many issues have you had with it, if any, after 100,000 miles?
yeah, have you had any issues during these 100k miles?
I love my WB scatpack challenger, I think it’s the muscle car you can get with that price range!!!
0:53 ah...that video convinced me to buy my current '17 T/A in 6spd...thank you again♥
Oh awesome! Super glad we could help with your buying decision. And thanks so much for watching!
None of the recalls caused major inconveniences.

Hell yeah, there's a lot of choices to make and is awesome they have so many options to pick from. I love my SRT8, it's a lot of fun to drive and hands down my favorite modern car I've ever owned

Manual gearbox, thank you very much 🤪
I just got the 2021 sxt blacktop since it has a V6 engine its better suited for my driving needs. upgraded from a dodge dart GT Sport so major upgrade

I always liked mustangs but I plan on getting a challenger because it still looks muscle. The mustang is a sport car now like the camaro
All three of the cars you mentioned were never muscle cars. They are all pony cars which means they're supposed to be sporty compared to real muscle cars.
mustang and camaro isn't even a sport cars. it's more like performance cars.
@@nodak81 Blah...blah...blah... U R talking 50 years ago pal. A muscle car was engineered and built to do ONE thing, that being chew up asphalt 1/4 mile at a time. What I don't like is the expensive/really hard to find Pennzoil 0-40 Ultra Platinum motor oil that Dodge want's you to use
I don't race my Challenger, I use it as a big comfortable powerful touring car like the cars of the late '60's, the GTO's, the Chevelle SS's, the Pontiac Grand Prix's, and Thunderbirds, the cars old men used to drive. Stupid Chevy and Ford don't make em anymore.
That's good to hear because I'm 58 and ordered a similar one (Frostbite) for the same type of driving.

HOW RELIABLE IS THE 8 SPD. AUTO TRANS. VS. THE 6PD. MANUAL TRANS. ON THE 2020 AND 2021 R/T 392 SPWB🤔????
I am getting mine in May this year 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Did u get ur srt8 from the dodge dealership? Or did you just take it to any dodge dealership???
If you're being serious, I'd like to know how your motor is holding up, and what's the boost?
Just bought a 2021 Challenger and I am absolutely in love. Not a bad thing about it.
Trade it for a 6 speed manual. No 4 cyl mode in the manual.
@@jeffbarrett3994 Already have a manual in my Mustang when I feel like shifting. I didn't want two manual cars, plus this 8 speed automatic performs way better than a manual. No way anyone can shift faster than this A8. It's incredible!

Very good information about the Dodge Challenger.. very pertinent. Congratulations.
If you don’t mind me asking what was the cost for the leather seats?
$2000
Bought a 16 Hellcat. Probably my favorite car I’ve ever owned. It is a riot to own. Love the looks and LOVE the supercharged engine paired with the Viper 6 Speed. Adrenaline and grin inducing drive.
I just bought a 15 hellcat 6 speed with 2500 miles. Redline red , its a blast!!
@@kylegallant3423 Welcome to the MOPAR Family!!!
Yes this video does really help as I am shopping for my dream car, Dodge Challenger sxt, I want that because I will be doing road trips as well
Yes I bought one, I did buy one without finding all that stuff out...
First thing I had to fix, major alternator and battery work $1600
I have had a 2013, 2020 and 2021 Scat Pack. Had to get the 2021 because the 2020 was totalled in an accident, not because it was a problem car. I love my Challenger
I just ordered a 2021 octane red scat pack!
Bought a 2020 RT Scat Pack Shaker with 392… love it!
Come join the brotherhood of muscle 💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼 #Dodge 🇺🇸
I was strictly a Mustang or F150 driver for years until I took a goof look at the Dodge Challenger. I have had the 2022 Challenger RT since Thanksgiving and have put 2000 miles on it.I absolutely love 😊the size of the car, the simplicity of operation and the weight of the car. Instead of the juvenile jump and bounce of the Mustang, the ride is almost gracefully beastfull! Get a Challenger, you will not regret it.
@@johnhix484 You are absolutely right, it is incredible.
Thank you for the information. I still like the car overall and will definitely consider purchasing one!👍🏻
I have had 4 challengers all V-8 s the last three 392 s - I am buying my fifth one now !!! They have been the absolute best muscle car I have ever owned and I have owned many since 1970 ! This car will be missed by people who truly enjoy a true muscle car in the future !
Jesus Christ, dude! I have no idea how you can afford all of those beast, but that dope af 🔥💯!
Currently looking at 2021-23 to buy, love the body style
