I love my 18 GT AWD, most people don't know they make an AWD challenger and I get some funny looks when keeping up with traffic in lots of snow! I do wish it was a V8, mostly for the great sound of a tuned exhaust.
@@CarlosJimenez-wm2qw I really enjoy my GT, it gets great gas mileage, is fun to drive, and I can drive year round with the snow. But I do wish it was more powerful.

I'm seriously considering one of these, need awd where I live. It's nice it doesn't have all the unnecessary tech and stop/start, but the interior needs a refresh. At 44k, it's competing with some really nice cars.
Kia Stinger also comes in AWD if thats your desire. New, stylish, classy interior unlike this or the dated Infiniti Q50. I would opt for the GT1 or GT2 which have the twin turbo V6. GT1 is all you need honestly since you clearly want to cut out unnecessary tech and it still feels like a lot of tech. Lol

If hyundai made an awd version of the elantra n, even though it's a 4 cylinder, I would add that to the list of alternatives. but also, I'm young anyway so I don't really care if technology in a car is dated or not mainly because I have no experience with even a touch screen in a car.
I bought my second Challenger AWD in March. Went from a 2018 to a 2021. ONLY because factory warranty expired at 60k. Never had any issues with the 2018. Absolutely love the car. It is big.....and comfortable. I drove in Upper and Lower Michigan snow in the early 80's. In all RWD cars. 81 Capri, 72 Nova, 71 Cutlass, 84 Fiero (yes a mistake but I bought it NEW in 84.) Bottom line - it's a highly capable AWD vehicle that gets 27-28 MPG. Does great in 6-10" of snow with ice under it. I don't have to pick up front or rear end of my car if it went in the ditch because it helps me STAY OUT of the ditch. Cautionary note - research replacement tires carefully. My 2018 had Michelins from factory which were great, bought similarly rated Sumitomos and they were crap, so went back to Michelins. Also, I'd rather not pay RT or Hellcat premiums for insurance. I'd seriously consider a HEMI in AWD, but it's not there in Challenger. Don't want an older Charger w/ AWD, and I've owned lots of 5.7 HEMI vehicles - 04 Durango (w/AWD-4WD), 14 RAM 2WD (absolute BS in snow), 06 RAM 1500 4x4. and a 2021 RAM 1500 Bighorn. The tradeoff for fuel consumption says the V6 is just fine thanks

We have had my wife's Loaded. Yellow 2017 Challenger GT Awd. Now for 5 years, and 51,000 trouble free Miles. Its a blast to drive in Mn. winters. So far its had no problem. Going thru 21" inches of snow. It really good on gas. In the summer, it gets 26.8 mpg city/ hwy. With the Shitty Mn. winter gas, only 22.5 Mpg city/hwy. She has the 500 watt, sound group 2 system. It sounds just as good. As my 900Watt HK system. In my 2015 SRT 392, and 2021 Ram 1500 Limited longhorn. In the summer we run. 2010 R/T Classic 20" inch wheels, with 245-45-20 tires. The things we don't like. Are the OEM 19" wheels. They are a real pain. In the butt to clean. And the thin paint that chips easy.
What would get me to buy this car is the 'wide body kit', and a supercharger (yes, on the 6). I just love the sound of the supercharger, I don't need to be any faster....
I swear if that thing came V8 awd i'd buy it again in a heart beat ... had a GT awd and a R/T base both in Mango before and cause I keep these as my daily all year round I really do need an AWD for winter... the R/T was lol very interesting to drive even in little rain ... BUT I liked it a lot, one of the few that for it's faults would still consider buying again ...
If I was buying a Challenger, I think I’d try to buy a Scat Pack 6.4L, but having all wheel drive would be great as well. Another great job on the video, Ben! Always enjoy your reviews.

The new power plant is coming with a turbo charged inline 6 is going to make this car faster and more desirable. Oh, and it will make 5.7 hemi owners mad. It will have comparable power and the AWD should help off the line.

Nothing like a big heavy American car that is slow and drives as nimbly as a tractor! I remember when Challenger was the name of a true muscle car. Today you are buying something slower than a great many crossovers. This is the way to impress 14 year olds in Oklahoma who know nothing about actual performance cars.
... hmmm yup 100% baby got a beer gut ... but it aint no time attack, track pack whatever package you wanna call it either... also it's true these days a SRT makes double the ponies but lol flip few yrs back and this v6 would be on par with say a '70 Challenger T/A 340ci --- actually even more powerful ;)
It is great in snow...I have a 2019 AWD Challenger SXT and it's a beast in snow...great on gas.....AWD is a must in Canada

if you're open to a lot of options near this price range you could get an infiniti q50 but that also has a dated interior
