Loved this David but I love all of your videos. They are not full of 50 million vinyasas. You love teaching and it comes from your heart which comes through so pleasantly. Thank you for wonderful sessions…can you do a few routines that are shorter than 30 minutes…i.e. 15 or 20 minutes for days one has less time to stretch or work out. You are the best!

Had back problems since I was 18 and have a knackered spine but I've almost completed my ytt & can't wait to teach others like myself. Wow, thank you David. This has to be one of the best flows I have done for my old grumpy back. 26 years as a nurse with a sore back is miserable. Yoga is the only thing that is keeping me moving. Wow this was excellent, thank you. Subscribed. I'm a teacher, and yesterday I spent like 8 or 9 hours sitting hunched over a chromebook, putting in data from my students' IEPs. This morning I woke up and could barely move. This definitely helped loosen me up, and I think I will do that flow senquence you mentioned. Or if it's too difficult for my back, I'll go for a walk.

Wow that last one really did it for my back,I'm training to be a yoga teacher myself and I've been practicing daily for the past 8 months but no relief for my back as yet, this is the best my back has felt after practice fora while so thankyou! I'm thinking my bed mattress is causing my back problems, thinking of transitioning onto the floor, big move but it just feels like the only solution atm
Hi Alison! I'm SO happy this helped you ❤️ Trying to sleep on the floor would be a good experiment just to see if you notice any changes. I slept on the floor for a while a couple years ago using a large Thai massage mat (like a big square futon cushion) and my back really seemed to like it. That's awesome you're working toward becoming a yoga teacher. I'm biased but I think sharing this practice with others is the greatest job in the world. I'm excited for your journey! Namaste 🙏
I have SEVERAL problems with my lower back: two herniated discs pressing on my left sciatic, degenerative disc disease, facet joint disease, and arthritis in my spine. Are all these movements okay to do with these problems?
You did a great job teaching, but, my back pain this morning start so much sorness by the second half of video sitting on the ground got to too much, Sorry to say no more for now. Which video of yours might help to bad it sounded like what I need.
Hi David, I am following your practice twice a day and it's awesome. My pain in the hip on both sides and on two legs, especially it's serious in the morning when I am standing from the bed when having a shower when standing from the sitting, and almost every day's when having movements. I am using a belt. Please advise required any more practice. Monsur
Hi Wadud! I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from this pain. I know how debilitating back pain can be ☹️ and I'm thankful that you are feeling some relief from my video. Each time you work through this practice be very gentle, just stretching to the point of a little sensation. Just a little bit each day and over time things will begin to shift. The following videos contain stretches for sciatica pain, but these stretches are also wonderful for other kinds of low back pain as well. I recommend you try them and see which ones feel like they give you relief. Let your body be your guide in choosing which ones are right for you. And again, be very gentle. Hi David, Thanks for the valuable advice. "Listen to your body" following such a great dialogue still I am struggling with stubborn sciatica. Mostly right leg affected and movement time pain increase. Also, pain in the hip especially when I am standing from seating. I selected some best practice from you and maintaining twice a day. Also, I am walking every day as much I can. No doubt I feel some better but still, I am suffering. Expecting your continuous advice. Thanks.
Hi TRGV. I'm sorry you're suffering from this pain. These are the exercises and stretches that have helped me with my own chronic low back pain due to minor bulging disc and tight hips due to the everyday stress of sitting and poor posture. I present them in the hope that they can help others as they did for me. I'm sorry you did not find them helpful. Obviously please don't continue with any exercises or stretches that cause pain or unreasonable discomfort.

Yeah I can't do Vinyassa flows having Osteoarthritis David is the best.

Hi David, I am following your practice twice a day and it's awesome. My pain in the hip on both sides and on two legs, especially it's serious in the morning when I am standing from the bed when having a shower when standing from the sitting, and almost every day's when having movements. I am using a belt. Please advise required any more practice. Monsur
Hi Wadud! I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from this pain. I know how debilitating back pain can be ☹️ and I'm thankful that you are feeling some relief from my video. Each time you work through this practice be very gentle, just stretching to the point of a little sensation. Just a little bit each day and over time things will begin to shift. The following videos contain stretches for sciatica pain, but these stretches are also wonderful for other kinds of low back pain as well. I recommend you try them and see which ones feel like they give you relief. Let your body be your guide in choosing which ones are right for you. And again, be very gentle. Don't push yourself into pain.

In addition to these exercises and stretches, I recommend that if possible, you try to get outside and go for a short leisurely walk, preferable on soft ground in nature. Walking slowly on soft ground helps to lubricate and strengthen the hips, and then these exercises and stretches help to open and loosen. I hope this helps! Namaste my friend 🙏

"Listen to your body" following such a great dialogue still I am struggling with stubborn sciatica. Mostly right leg affected and movement time pain increase. Also, pain in the hip especially when I am standing from seating.
I selected some best practice from you and maintaining twice a day. Also, I am walking every day as much I can.
No doubt I feel some better but still, I am suffering. Expecting your continuous advice. Thanks.

Hi TRGV. I'm sorry you're suffering from this pain. These are the exercises and stretches that have helped me with my own chronic low back pain due to minor bulging disc and tight hips due to the everyday stress of sitting and poor posture. I present them in the hope that they can help others as they did for me. I'm sorry you did not find them helpful. Obviously please don't continue with any exercises or stretches that cause pain or unreasonable discomfort.
