When in doubt call customer service multiple times, sometimes you’ll get people who don’t know and don’t care. Other times you can get someone passionate or aware!
Rogue has a bit of a reputation for testing customers’ patience and amount of f**ks given with quality issues. You need to advocate for yourself and insist on what you believe is acceptable. They have the capacity to make things right, and will if you are serious. And as someone already mentioned, some CS agents are more helpful than others
I would get spotter arms for the front. Lets you do incline/hack squat with lever arms and also you can add the spotter arms onto the lever arms which greatly increases the leverage point for the weight so you dont need 3 45s on each side to feel it
I see what you did there!!! 😂.. Appreciate the shout out guy! The separate cable section is DEFINITELY the way to go if able!! I know I sure have been enjoying mine!!!..... HOPEFULLY Rogue will ship out my 8th and final box so that I can get my weight stack up and running too!!...Great video!!!
I want to see the video review on the dumbbells and why you switched. I plan on buying the rep urethane ones like you have but there aren't many reviews for them on youtube.
Just looked this up yesterday and all together it’s coming out to 11k, probably because I added all the most expensive pieces to my cart. This video gonna save me some money
Hi man! Great videos :) I have a quick question for you, I really liked the idea of not have the rack bolted into the floor and your system seems to work perfectly. How many weight do you have on each side and how did you put the plates there? With the rogue plate storage? Thanks!
my monsterlite slinger weight stack doesn't shake like that on the first stack of weight. you should contact rogue again and have it replaced. from what i know the weight stack is made in china.
As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. However, I don't think any weight stack should shake like that. If Rogue is saying that's normal, they should work on fixing it - the more excessive movement, the more likely those bolts are to come loose. Separate note: ordered myself the mixed box from Built this week & got a free cooler pack in the process. They even sent a follow-up email saying thank you & to reach out of I have any issues. Mad respect.
How long have you had your Ohio bar on your rack? Any maintenance? I planned to go with the stainless steel Ohio power bar ion because of the little to no maintenance, any advice or tips? Thank man
@@BusinessAndFitness Great! Strongly considering the same set up. Have you found any resolution to the noisy guide rods and faulty selection rod (at light weights). Or did you just grow to live with it and adjust as necessary?
Question for you…. I know you gave a three car garage and a nice car. I have two car garage and a nice vehicle. I am debating n parking a 70k vehicle outside and using the garage for a gym. What is your take on that? I live in Southern California for bad weather isn’t a issue. I also currently have an outdoor gym I use, although not ideal it gets the job done. I would love to know your thoughts on the trade off on parking outside.
Don't have to drive car, don't have to go anywhere, you control your room temp, you can workout whenever you feel like, you don't have to weight for people (pun intended), you don't have to shower standing on foot fungus, you shave off 1-2 hours worth of waisted time associated with going out getting ready/driving/driving back/waiting for other/etc. You're house is also open 24/7. If you want to look at it look at it like super long term investment 20 dollars a month over 70 years is $16,800, and shaving off at least 30 minutes a day you get 12,775 hours of your life back using conservative numbers. So even if you spend 10k on a nice setup you still have tons of time left that could easily be twice that amount leading you to have a more fulfilled life. Now you could always say that you could invest the 10k and pay the monthly 20 dollars a month, but I keep telling myself I'd invest but I never do, so might as well live a more full filled life. Even if you do make a decent amount of money off the investment I'd still prefer 6000 hours (using conservative numbers) by the time I'm 60 than an extra $80k, or w/e because by the time you're that old $80k isn't going to buy you 6000 more hours if you have any life changing medical events. You also might not be able to drive yourself by the time you get to 70, so then you'll have to bother your grandchildren, or buy a gym set anyways to keep a consistent gym schedule. P.S. Not to mention 2000 hours is how long you work within a normal 40 hour/per year work schedule, so if you have a decent job that pays 80k You've already made up for what you would have made investing the 10k by 3x. On top of that if you have considerate friends, and times you don't workout you can have your friends pay you to use your sick setup.
I import machines from china, this is a common issue with some machines .. the plastic that slide into the rods and goes around into the first stack should be a very tight fit on the rods and the stack
My gym has a rogue rack setup. I just wanted to know how some of the attachments worked but am unable to watch this video because listening to Travis is like fingernails on a chalk board. So amazingly annoying
Rogue told me there was no problem with the weight stack and the shake is normal…. Do you agree ?!
When in doubt call customer service multiple times, sometimes you’ll get people who don’t know and don’t care. Other times you can get someone passionate or aware!
In no way is that normal. It doesn't do that at the crappy planet fitness I go to so it definitely shouldn't do it on yours : /
Does it only do it with very light weight loaded or the heavy weights too?
@@whateverwhatever18 mostly just light

Cant wait for the detailed review of the Slinger weight stack

Bad ass dude. Very nice! Thanks
@6:50 LOL... by far one of your best transition!!! 👍
Sweet setup Travis! After all the shipping/ product problems you’ve had, I’m glad to see everything really coming together.
get a utility seat to do leg presses, preacher curls, box squat, and inverted leg presses

Loved he Segway to built! Awesome!
The Built Bar plug! 😂
With your success on TH-cam maybe Rogue should listen. Especially with your product endorsements.

Bend the center post that inserts into the weight stack so it doesn't hit the top plate. I had the same problem with my rep ft5000 that fixed it
Hey man! Saw a video saying your channel is dead! I’m also building a pretty luxury home gym and appreciate your videos
how wide is the set up? very informative- thanks
Lat machine looks great!
Looks great Travis. You have the dream garage gym to me.

Incredible transition to the built bar. 🤌
vertical barbell storage or gun rack for the all the barbells would be nice.

2 years and no issue at all
The cross members that your weight stack runs through; are those from the deconstructed RM6? Did you have to drill the holes for the weight stack?
Yes they are. No drilling of holes needed

That built bar transition was slick as hell 😏
Looks really good man!
Loved this! Looks like a great set up to me!!
Basically my dream gym! Not sure if there is but a leg press attachment would be adding value to the setup?

Awesome setup mate!
Killer setup. What is the height of the uprights? Are those 90” or 100”?
Thanks! 90
Do they have a solution for cable flys?
Just dumbell fly
Sick setup man! Very jealous 🤩🤙
Looks awesome. I wish they release the extended routing for the slinger weight stack
How wide is your gym? My shed is 10’ across and I’m wondering if this would work for me :)
Great video sir!
12 feet!
Great looking set up.... now the question is, what's next?!
Got my eye on a Hone Health Assessment !
What muscles do rack pulls target?
Back
No price can be placed on something that is a health benefit investment!
Looks amazing bro! But I'm not seeing the latpulldown seat with the lowrow and footrest on rogues site?
Haha yea it’s hidden . Search for the monster cave and it’s listed at the bottom with the attachments
@@BusinessAndFitness subbeddddddd you're the best

Just have to keep checking the website …
Pretty clever on that built segway. I’m a fan!
Awesome set up! What is the total width of the set up?
Thanks! 14 feet
get a utility seat to do leg presses!
Functional gym and aesthetically great looking gym!
What happened to the echo bike?
It’s on the other side of the garage
You’re fancy living with Rogue! Went the cheaper route for ours and did Titan.
💪🏻💪🏻
What color is that rack? Cerakote?
Just the standard black
