    I love your videos !!! You are a life saver I rather sit at home an watch the videos than go listen to my professor lecture! I am using them now to prepare for my final I hope it does justice since there so much info. But I love how you break it down in a simple way and your voice just drags me in lol!! Thank you so much

    Adolase has the root name Adol because the reverse reaction (combining DHAP and GAP to form F-1,6-BP) is an Adol condensation reaction.
    These videos are great! You've covered nearly everything from my biochem class. Do you have any videos on basic catalysis mechanisms? Metallo Protease and Chymotrypsin for example?

      Chloe Mitchell Thanks! I'm happy to have helped. Unfortunately, I don't have videos on those topics. My apologies.

    Sir, I have a question. is there any reaction or biosynthesis to form four-carbon sugar from three-carbon sugar or five-carbon sugar to six-carbon sugar?
    Thanks for answering this question. :)
    I do really need your help :)

    could u please tell me what software you are using?

    • @MoofUniversity
      @MoofUniversity  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Alina Seu As far as creating the videos, I use two bits of software and two pieces of hardware.
      Software:
      1. I use Smoothdraw 4 (free), to actually draw everything that I draw/write. It's like paint, but better.
      2. I use Camtasia Studio 8 ($300) as my screen capture and video editing software. For how powerful a program it is, it's pretty simple to use. I used to use SnagIt ($50) for screen capture. It had a free trial. I tried it, liked it, and purchased it. I only recently upgraded to Camtasia Studio 8 because I wanted and needed a better video editing program in addition to my screen capture software.
      Hardware:
      1. I use a Wacom Bamboo Tablet ($80) as my drawing/writing surface. It's really simple. I'm sure there are other tablets that may be better and plenty that are not as great, but it gets the job done.
      2. I use a Blue Yeti Microphone ($110) to record the audio, which did wonders for me in terms of audio quality. I used to use a basic Plantronics ($20) headset, but the audio quality was nowhere near as crisp and clean as it is the more recently uploaded videos.
      Upon recording the videos, I do a few edits (as necessary) and upload them to TH-cam. That's it. I hope that helps.

    question: if glycolysis is anaerobic doesnt require oxygen then why is it oxidative?

    • @jkman10
      @jkman10 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Krista McCall Oxidation just means you're losing electrons.

      In aerobic glycolysis you use O2 in ETC mainly. But in anarobic you dont use 02 cause due to lack of 02 you do lactic acid fermentation.

  • @hassanabdalrasool7300
    @hassanabdalrasool7300 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    sorry but i think there's something you did not mention , you say the glucolysis is anaerobic . but is really both anaerobic and aerobic.
