+funky munky That's right, it's at least partly calculated by Johnny. That's what Tony is trying to explain at the beginning of the clip when he gets interrupted - basically, don't say anything because Johnny will use it as an excuse to take offense and extract something from Tony. i.e. "I gotta do something nice for Johnny, like what!?"
Ehhh. It was a small dinner that Chris was permitted to attend with a round table discussion. And John knew Tony was grooming Chris to be his uderboss. So, as a friend, John could've calmly explained why it's more important to consolidate business in your own backyard than securing assets far away. Instead, he had a bitch fit.
I could never figure out why Tony favored Chrissy enough to groom him for his spot in the future, Sure, they were related, but Christopher rarely showed any sort of brains and Tony had reasons to suspect his disloyalty as early as season 1.
I think it was more to do with Chris' pa. We never saw any of it, but from what we hear Dicky Moltisanti was to Tony what Tony tried to be to Christopher.

Chrissy didn't know how a power struggle in a rival family could be good for them.....Tony was the only reason his Mafia career went as long as it did.
Tony was the only reason Chris wasn't killed about a dozen times on the show. The day Jackie Sr died, Chris openly questioned Tony's leadership infront of his capos. That right there he should have been done. He does it again in the hospital. He even shot Tony's truck then drew a gun on the boss of the family in the Bing? That's death. If it was anyone else. Anyone, Paulie, Bobby, Sil, Patsy, Carlo, Gigi, Ralphie, anyone it would have ended with him in that cornfield. But Tony B saved his ass. The only reason he was still alive at that point was Tony loved him because he was family. If Sil, Paulie, Gigi, Ralphie or anyone else was boss of the family at that time do you think Chris would be alive? Nope.

Nope.
The way Borko turns around is hilarious 2:51 😂😂
Vito “I didn’t say nuttin Ton” 😅
"Lay off the snapple"
Love how when Phil turns around. He got the look on his face like... "Did somebody say shinebox?" 😂 😆
"You mean he's dead" I laughed so hard at how casually Tony said that XD
Chris, just stay in the car.
As Johnny once said "Tony's okay...he's pragmatic." and this is a great example. But you have to love Bobby. He's reliable, trustworthy, good father, good husband and truly a kind man. When I was watching this show for the first time I was surprised they created such a character. There will never be another show like it.
"He's reliable, trustworthy, good father, good husband and truly a kind man."
None of these characters are good people. Bobby is just less bad than a lot of others.
@@TheMisterGuy Bobby was a genuinely good man in a bad line of work that slowly compromised his goodness His bigotry/intolerance was minor to nonexistent compared to his colleagues and he never wanted to kill or harm anybody unless ordered to. He really belonged in a humanitarian field like caring for the elderly not the mob. Not to mention his adorable hobby.
@@roninsoul9051 "Bobby was a genuinely good man in a bad line of work that slowly compromised his goodness"
How did he slowly compromise it? He was in the mob the entire time we knew him. I don't remember any back story where he's not a mafioso.
"His bigotry/intolerance was minor to nonexistent compared to his colleagues and he never wanted to kill or harm anybody unless ordered to."
That's true. I would say he's less evil than those around him. But not less evil than the people the mob preyed on.
"He really belonged in a humanitarian field like caring for the elderly not the mob."
He was definitely inclined toward caring for the elderly. Maybe in another life he could have been a good guy. Maybe if he hadn't been born into the mob, but I have to point out that your dad being in the mob doesn't guarantee you will be. The sons of Tony, Richie, and Jackie were pushed away from that life. This is where we need back story. Why (and how) did Bobby get in?
@@roninsoul9051he even worked with black rappers and helped them in becoming more famous.
0:10, "that office park by Troy Hills," I think he's talking about Sylvan Way in Parsippany, NJ.
Chris, once again, proving himself to an insufficient successor.
Lol at how Phil turns around lmao!
"It's your uncle...he's gone"
Like how else would anyone interpret that? XD
Especially in their particular line of work
Same way he tells Junior he ate the ziti in another episode.
Junior: Where’s the ziti?
Bobby: It’s gone.
@@drewpowers7236 it was manicott, not ziti.
@@rpmcmurphy214 you’re right but the general idea stands

“Now I gotta unshine what you just shined up!”
I love the cut to Tony slamming the steering wheel lmao
What an astoundingly talented cast
Many of Sopranos' characters are walking examples of too much starch in the diet.
Walking examples of true mobsters.
All That gravy.
home dreams gravy’s good tonight
wrong its the fat and oil they eat. Starch powered all civilization and marching armies.
@@billballinger5622 any carb can "power every civilization and army" lol
Native Americans were fierce warriors and lived long, ate raw animal products diet and fermented dairy and other animal foods, which is bacteria and fat too, given that we need the former for our gut flora and the latter for our cells maintenance, all composed mainly of saturated fat... these foods are extremely dense in macro and micronutrients andar in they raw form you need to eat very few to get saciated, and they digest faster too because of the enzymes.
Plants destroy your gut and you don't really get to extract their micronutrients because they have antinutrients
Gluten causes celiac disease, a thing I'm SURE you don't want to have... It's being difficult for me because I LOVE pasta, but I need to let it go.

How hard is to listen??
JC B life is hard....
it is harder if you're stupid.
-J. Wayne
I ''hear'' ya and if your calling me stupid then fuck you!! If not then i took it the wrong way let me know so i can reply something else!
JC B lol I'm talking about Chris
There so many assholes on here ya never know how to take people.
+JC B you cleary are stupid tho
Good lord. After Tony told him to be quiet, specifically if the crap with little Carmine came up; All Chris had to do is say nothing and he would have been fine. Was it that hard?
Someone else on here said Chrissy was probably high and that hadn't occurred to me but I wonder if that was what the writers intended.
Zachary B that wasn't until later seasons.
@@719Flowers yeah but I'm assuming he was using off-camera in earlier seasons.
No, Christopher wants influence, Christopher is all about "my arc; where's my arc?"
For Chrissy it is. Hes a dumbass
0:13 now lisshin
Well, he did-n't!
And you, Go get your Shinebox!
Poor Bobby Jr. had no chance to be slim.
"how's bobby jr? he's fat."
He's phat
The Lasagna was made, he wasnt. There’s nothing he could do
Wilson Allender hahahah some greasball shit
never had the makings of a varsity athlete
“Gimme a piece’a bread, huh?” Tony playing defense. Then the look he gives Vito is priceless! lmao The frustration Tony shows in the car is the base-problem with Christopher - he doesn’t listen and has no impulse control. Not sure if that’s intentional since he’s an addict, but these scenes are so well-acted.
You can tell Tony knows exactly where it's going with that "why don't you get me a piece of bread"
When Chris first starts to talk tony s face says it all
Bobby was too good of a soul for the life he was born into; probably the greatest tragedy in a show built entirely on tragedy.
Nobody played rage like James Gandolfini, and nobody ever will. What a loss of talent.
Tonys face after john flips out on Chrissy is priceless @ 2:52
2:19 Tony's face.
The way Tony looked at Vito when he gave him the bread was Priceless.
Thanks for uploading this DTDB1225. It's well tidy.
Love the acting by Michael Imperioli @ 03:15
"i gotta unfuck what you just fucked up!" tony should've just had this written on his forehead the entire time he was boss
"Keep your ears open and your mouth shut"! Best advice any older guy could give to a young man. Another decade or so and you can start thinking a little about speaking. A little.

“Can Janice go and we can stay here??” LMAO

I loved when john yelled 😂 😂
“He can wander off the Palisades for all I care” 😂😂😂
This is exactly what my wife does. I tell her, please, don’t say anything. No matter what she can’t do it. Its ingrained in some people. They just dont listen.
Title of Video should be "Never bring junkie to a Mafia sit down meeting" Now return remote control to docking Station.
Johnny Sac was too sensitive. Still though, Chrissy should’ve clamed up.
Absolutely. Just the number of times Chris needed to shut the hell up while they were dining is a staggering number. Plus, he also has Philly within ear-shot? Holy shit, Chrissy! Lot's of overly sensitive egos in the room.
The details of the show are something to behold. Them all sitting at the table talking symbolizes them sitting and talking.
" And you lay off the Shineboxes "
phil is the best when he’s in the bacc noticing arguments like this scene & at joey peeps funeral lol
Lol Bobby Is in the Mafia and refers to Junior as gone not realising how that would sound to another Mobster like Tony
at 2:49 you can look up and see the windows from the studio of where they were shooting thia scene
I love the way Tony tells Chris. "Now I gotta un-fuck what you just fucked up!" ..Brilliant script writing, Gets me every time.
Just curious, how does he un-fuck it? Is it ever shown?
I feel like I've watched the entire show out of order by binging these clips lol
I know Vito was riding the rainbow express, but he always tried to stick up for his friends.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow
"riding the rainbow express" sounds cute. But being gay doesn't mean he wouldn't act reasonably, why would it? Being a mobster would, though
What's the difference if he was gay or not when it comes to doing what's needed to be done and being a legit gangster? Like Tony said, he's not the first
1:52 "And you, lay off the Snapple"- Bobby Jr.
'(yeah you, lay off the deep-fried carnival food)' - Bobby III
Sometimes I feel like Tony Soprano, I always have to take care of everything, as if I have no choice.
