I would love to know more about the fabric; who makes it and who is the designer? I would also appreciate a review after you have made the project and how it was working with the fabric and patterns.
I’m thinking about working with Mrs Quilty and promoting their boxes and am so grateful to you for sharing this review so I know I can go ahead with confidence and work with them. And I might just get into quilting myself again!!! Love your presentations!
I am brand new to quilting. The only thing I have made so far is a set of placemats that I quilted for our kitchen table. This box may be just what I need. Thank you for the review.
I really enjoy the Mrs Quilty boxes. It used to have paper shreds in it that always made a big mess in my house. They no longer use them. Yay! Less trash and less mess for me to clean up. I will continue to get the boxes.
On first glance the box seems fun. My box had a value of $82. Your box had a nice variety of fabrics, but mine are all similar. I was supposed to get 2 pieces of candy which were missing. In the reviews online, there were others complaining about the missing candy.-not a really big deal, but a sign that their quality control has a problem. There was a small tin of jasmine tea and the fabric. There were no notions. I made the block which was supposed to be 12 1/2” square, but the flower portion was squared at 6 1/2” x 12”. So I ended up with a 12” square block. I have no idea what they intend you to do with the block-add it to a UFO stash, or is it part of a future project. I haven’t read through the quilt directions, but noticed that the drawing of one ladybug block has the sashing drawn through the middle of the ladybug. So I am leery of the accuracy of the written instructions after making the block and looking at the drawings of the quilt. I see no use for the other two projects in the book. I did complete the survey about the box and hope that someone is actually reading the responses. One more thing…they are flooding my email inbox with sales pitches.

It gave me beautiful fabrics and an awesome book with beginner projects, intermediate projects and hard projects. But, the material is so beautiful, and I’m afraid to cut it.

Have you sewn any of these projects yet from the quilt box? I was watching a tutorial on another channel that some of their patterns are inaccurate on the cutting instructions. Have you noticed any of that or any other type of issues? I was thinking about getting this box just to add something new to my collection lol. Thank you 😊

According to the booklet, the fabric says “Lemon GROOVE” collection. Never heard of it - but it’s suspiciously similar in name to the Lemon GROVE collection. I take reviews on FREE product with a grain of salt.

@@ISeeStarsQuilting Your glowing review was just looking the box contents. Many people have stated that the patterns are just inaccurate and impossible to sew. Many YT subscription unboxers for the many types of subscriptions out there all have dropped Mrs Quilty and give it a thumbs down. 4 yds of quilting cotton at JoAnns runs about $40 and other online quilt fabric shops have sales with the brand name fabrics at $8-10/yd often and not really a problem to get wanted fabrics. Mrs Quilty isn't that affordable. As to learning to quilt there are dozens of "learn to quilt" YT videos for beginners.
I haven't tried Mrs Quilty yet. We're trying to save for a house down payment so I probably won't for the next couple years, but boy I would love to try it out. A quilted yoga mat that's a cool idea
I just watched another Mrs Quilty unboxing from a year ago - the same fabric, pin cushion, but different projects. I've never seen someone get the box twice - I wonder how they avoid sending you the same thing twice over time (?) Seeing the same fabric a year apart makes me think they aren't using current fabric lines. Thanks for the video - I think I'll skip this one.
Everyone does start with Box 1, but each subsequent box features different fabrics and projects to keep things fresh and exciting. I had it for 3 months. While it is a great price for 16 fat quarters, I am personally not a fan of the patterns of fabric. And I haven’t found a use for the notions yet. I cancelled mine. The magazine has had some updates though. The three I got didn’t have a description of the notions and what they are used for.
I just received my first box! I was so excited to receive it and see what goodies were in it! Wow! I was SOOOO disappointed! Absolutely NOT worth the money! The Fat Quarter Shop puts out a monthly bos as well and they are waaaay better than Mrs. Quilty by far! I will wait to receive my second box but if it isn't any better than this first box then I'm cancelling any further shipments. This is MY honest review!
I just want to tell you this is not a company to deal with. I hot my first box didn't get everything I ordered. When I tried to get help from them it was a nightmare. Still can't get anywhere just a nightmare. Don't want anyone yo experience what I have. Don't want you to hurt your membership. Please reconsider your posting on this company.
Just canceled my box! Horrible product! I got first box and canceled it! Apparently did not understand my request! I tried reaching out, no response! I was sent another box, haven't received it yet! Pattern was not right, ruler looked old, faded and the box was smashed. Please not sure what you got but the fabric was poor quality in mine. I was devastated! I also ordered a 42 piece supply set, it was cheap but since i am new, it will do but I wanted better value. The mazine was off.

I've bought a few of these, never again. Fabrics are subpar the magazine is a joke, cut out patterns. Why would you recommend this for a new quilter? Stay away from this box, it is so not worth the money you spend. The fabrics are the same as you get from Temu, same patterns of fabric, it is what it is, cheap product, expensive price tag.
I appreciate your feedback. I think that there is room in this world for everyone to experiment with fabric from different budgets. It's always important to share our experiences.
I will never forgive them for putting food in my box, then shorting me onthe candy. Of which I cannot eat as I am diabetic.... Cheap Cheap Cheap People ... I order quilting box. Not etibles.
