Aberystwyth is so nice, when i was young we used to stay in a flat right on the sea front i went in August last year and the weather was so good

great place aberystwyth. lived there for a year in 1999. only ever been back once but really need to go visit again. great vid fella.
I had caravan there for 10 years amazing place just over the hill in clarch bay holiday village really nice beach there
It's a great place, we enjoy going there and around, especially in the warmer months!
I’m loving your footage so far! Prince Charles actually was there back in the 1980’s for the grand opening of the museum. I’m really hoping you made it up Pendinas Hill! It’s a great easy child friendly hike and the view is fantastic!

I love Aber! I've been there many times and each one is as if it were the first. I went to Constitution Hill in March, it was closed do the pandemic, but the view was really beautiful, sunny day - 3º C.
I went last month was great. Weather wasn't the best cos the location but in that castle I felt like I was in the medieval period with the wind and sea smashing the castle walls. Was amazing. The beach and the the town prominade :) town itself is mint. We stayed at clarach bay and the beach there is also quite pebbly too.
It can be a bit hit and miss there weather wise due to its location, but it is interesting what ever the weather! We once caught it smashing the front with waves in the morning, for it to settle and be stunningly beautiful just a few hours later.. If it had golden beaches, it would be even more popular, still it doesn't stop a lot of people!

My Nan and grandad used to have a caravan in borth so when I was little I used to spend most my time in Aberystwyth Aberdovey Newquay borth Aberaeron

The weather definitely depends on what the town is like but still nice all round :) Shame we didnt get to see the university and/or surrounding areas but still cool :P

Lol, from where we used to live that is a bargain, many eat-in places are £12-15! Originally I am from the North, so it took me a while to adjust to prices when I went south before going to Wales.
@@WestCoastLiving its mad that mate how when you travel different parts of the country the price changes vary quite considerably....here in the midlands in telford fish and chips would cost you 3-4 at most. again a bit of a shock for me too. but i suppose they have to make their money some how.

He keeps calling it Aber-swith, when it's Aber-ist-with. Great video though - plenty of memories coming back from my time at university there.
