I lived in Aberystwyth for 4 years when I went to the University. There are loads of things to do including at the University where there is a theatre and cinema and exhibitions regularly in the Arts center all of which are open to the public. Great food available in the Arts center and the town itself. Everyone should visit the town at least once. I delved into the community when I was there working in the town and getting involved in town life. Some great pubs and friendly people. I cannot praise the place highly enough.
Nice video and nicely narrated , I live in the Elan Valley (Rhayader) and visit Aberystwyth most weekends so its not unusual for me or rare to see beautiful sunsets there and the Starlings are a stunning sight to see flying around the pier if you're lucky enough when visiting.
We've been for the last 5 years but, I think a lot of of hotels and the place in general are starting to over rate themselves. The exact same double room that was £580 five years ago is now £910.Its cheaper to go to Greece

It really is! It was very hot when climbing the hills though... at least we had the sea to cool us down!
