Best beach in the world! No beach at high tide so visit on a outgoing tide is much the best. A little thought and care needed at high tide planning your route off the beach. Water is safe as the lovely sand deepens very gently. Safe for kids belly boarding..

You need a geography lesson. Aberystwyth is in Ceredigion not Pembrokeshire & your pronunciation of Aberystwyth is pathetic.

When you go back in history coastal sea trade was VERY important so places like Porth Clais were busy with boats coming in to take the lime away . It's interesting to see PC now as back in my time in the 60s there was absolutely nothing in PC , very few seats even and certainly no little cafe. My grandmother would have been quite shocked by that especially as at the bottom of the hill going back into St Davids was the town gas works structure. I wonder what the road up the side of the hill towards Porth LLysky farms is like as I remember it being VERY stoney with the hillside covered in primroses in the spring. Thank you for sharing how it looks today.

great place aberystwyth. lived there for a year in 1999. only ever been back once but really need to go visit again. great vid fella.

This was my 'garden' a few years ago as I lived in a little village opposite. Although breathtakingly beautiful, I moved back to South Wales in less than a year as it became too bleak and isolated for me and I missed the trees and greenery. Don't let that put you off though as It's a stunning place to visit.

You can't wade from Parrog to Traeth Mawr at high tide.

I love Aber! I've been there many times and each one is as if it were the first. I went to Constitution Hill in March, it was closed do the pandemic, but the view was really beautiful, sunny day - 3º C.

Walked the coastal path from Saundersfoot to Tenby many times - magical. Even walked to it on the beach on very low tide, apart the last bit before Tenby - jutting out rocks into the sea too far.

We are doing a roadtrip in wales this summer. Aberystwyth is one of our stop points. This video has been really useful! Thank you

Good review. For lots of people, they prefer beaches without dogs as unfortunately people leave the poop! See Google reviews recently for a lot of beaches in Wales. Sad!

I love Saundersfoot we go there every year the best hotel is the Mearlwood Hotel which has an outdoor pool stunning views

Aber is heavenly quiet for living, very friendly folk, I'm not from UK, but I've been once in 2016 in Aber, from that time Aber is always in my heart, and at the near feature I'll be back... Tnx for good vlog)

It's a scruffy town

Aberystwyth is so nice, when i was young we used to stay in a flat right on the sea front i went in August last year and the weather was so good

The weather definitely depends on what the town is like but still nice all round :) Shame we didnt get to see the university and/or surrounding areas but still cool :P

Great video! We tried doing the Coast Path at the end of August, but had to stop after getting to St. Justinian's due to a sprained ankle! Absolutely loved this stretch, and St Non's chapel is full of history and has a real eeriness about it.

I had caravan there for 10 years amazing place just over the hill in clarch bay holiday village really nice beach there
